I have suffered from chronic back pain for many, too many, years. Treatment in the past have included those usually most typically "prescribed"; prescription, massage therapy, physical therapy and well you get the point. While beneficial; they always provided temporary relief. Recently I started exploring and researching for alternative and found an article regarding acupuncture.

It pecked my interest and I subsequently made an appointment with Justin Mao at the Chrysalis Natural Medicine Clinic. All it has been AMAZING - after my first acupuncture treatment I immediately felt the most comfort I had in YEARS. Most importantly everyone there; Justin, Mr. and Mrs. Tillotson and the office staff members, have always been pleasant, thoughtful and displayed true compassion. My only regrets: That I had explored natural intervention many moons ago. Love it - acupuncture has been relaxing - ASTONISHING!

I am so thankful to have had Justin treating me with acupuncture and Chinese herbs both during my pregnancy and postpartum. I have been getting acupuncture treatment from Justin for a short time but it has made such a difference with my pain. He makes adjustments to the points to make sure I am really getting the best results. He always says if I don't feel like I am improving we will switch it up until we find what works. Justin is amazing! He is professional, very knowledgable, informative, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. I am very healthy but have high ldl and total cholesterol. Traditional dr has been pushing statins for years- i took them for 2 months but didn't like muscle aches and concerns with long term brain issues. I've read many books on cholesterol and it's uses in the body. Dr. Tillotson doesnt treat cholesterol (bc that's not the problem). He works with you on diet, inflammation issues and overall health.

Much of what he does seems to be trying to fix what traditional medicine has broken. Be prepared to change your diet, habits and way of life- otherwise things won't improve. Work with these folks and get away from traditional "medicine" and within a few months you will see drastic improvements. I've referred my sister and niece to their practice- that says a lot.

I started my acupuncture and herbal treatment a few months ago and the results have been great. I came in with a lack of appetite and severe nausea. Since starting my results have been phenomenal and I feel great. They truly care about their patients well being!

Chrysalis Natural Medicine is a treasure we have in Wilmington Delaware that needs to be visited to believe. It's easy to get to, as it is right on Milltown Road. The office staff is fantastic and so helpful. The newest member to the staff, Dr. Justin Mao, has helped me tremendously. He does his best to listen and work through any problem you may be struggling with.
