My children ages 3 weeks, 2, 5, and 8 years have been going here respectively since their birth. Recently my 2 year old became sick with a cough and a fever. When I tried to make an appointment, I was told that they would not see her because she had covid like symptoms. I was told to take her to urgent care. I took her to urgent care where she had a negative covid test.

I called Clayton medical associates back and pleaded with them for an appointment given that she was negative for covid. They refused to see her on the grounds that her negative test result could be false. I was told that they no longer see sick patients. A doctors office that doesn't see sick patients! I was NEVER told that this was their new ridiculous policy. Had I known this, I would've found a new pediatrician that was willing to see my children BEFORE one of them became sick!

This Medical practice cannot keep Providers. There is one actual MD and generally 2 NPs. I have seen 5 different NPs over my time here and countless nurses. I think their motto is "turn 'em and burn 'em"! Long wait times.look for a different practice. Would not recommend.

Awesome office! Anytime I've had any medical concerns/need to be seen, they normally have a same day appointment where everything can be addressed. Most doctors offices are normally behind anywhere between 10-30 minutes. but I can honestly say anytime I've been here I haven't had to wait any longer than 5 minutes past my appointment time. Staff is friendly and professional and always very helpful when I call and ask questions.

Called to get an appointment in July 2018, the receptionist asked for my insurance, after I gave it to her she said they didn't have anything available for "new patients" until January 2019.wow really? Would it make a difference if I had a different insurance? So obvious she didn't wanted to deal with my insurance for some reason, maybe she didn't know how to process it?

Everyone else in the area takes it with no issue, it's a very common one (not goverment provided, I pay for it). Before I could say anything else she hang up on me. Very nice customer service indeed. If that is how you service "new patients" I don't want to know how take care of them and their injuries/problems. Wow, maybe a better trained people person to answer the phone would help.ridiculous.

Very judgmental staff. Nurse practitioner tried persuading me I wasn't "doing the right thing" with an issue that clearly wasn't her position to comment on. Doctor was very rude towards a decision I wanted to make regarding my personal beliefs, and continued to be rude the whole appointment. They do not care about their patients personal decisions and try to convince them they are not right in what they believe is best. Like I said very judgmental and only can about their opinions rather than patients opinions.

Chronic migraines.3 mos. and counting. The nurse practitioner is evidently of the impression that all her patients are shopping for drugs. Either that or she's simply too afraid to do a doctor's job and TREAT. I'm on the verge of losing my job as being there is excruciating and I can't get relief from my own Dr. That and she writes me an intermittent leave document that allows for 2 absences per month. I've been in pain all day every day for 3 months!

I just moved to Clayton this year and was looking for a family doctor. First, I never even got to see the doctor, only a nurse practitioner. I felt like I was being interrogated about the medications I was on. I actually understand, because my wife is a nurse and I know the abuse of prescription medications. I totally understand they didn't know me.

But I told the lady I didn't need any medications and I also knew they would get my medical records and see everything I've been on. I had forgotten to write down 2 medications, one I'm on, and one I only took once (Ambien) but never took it again because it didn't work. At the end she says to me, " Maybe you've taken Ambien more recently than you let on".

Say what?! I couldn't believe this woman just ACCUSED me of taking something I no longer take! The words "than you let on" is stating that I'm lying. Once I left, I turned around to go have a talk with the lady, but was told she was too busy. Needless to say, I won't be going back to a place that has judged me without even asking me. I would have even been fine with, " I notice you took ambien, but didn't write it down. Are you still taking it?" At least give me the benefit of a doubt.
