When people asked me who was doing my surgery prior to my procedure, I would say Dr Barry Cohen, and I just kept hearing, "Oh, he's the best!" And I agree! I came in for my consultation with questions, and he talked with my very truthfully about what would be the best procedures to achieve the results I was looking for. His staff was also amazing - kind and thorough, making sure I had everything I needed and that they received all info from my Dr to proceed with my surgery. Mo and Marina really made me feel at ease!

I had a neck lift with lipo along with a lower facelift. The surgery went smoothly, I was never in any pain during or after my procedure during my recovery. I had adequate meds to help me rest and deal with the pain. Everything went smoothly at each follow up visit. If I had any questions or concerns, I only needed to call the staff or text a picture if I was unsure about anything and they would talk with Dr Cohen and get back with me promptly.

I was pleased immediately with the results and it just looks better from week to week as the swelling has been going down. I look just like myself only 10yrs younger. No one even knows I had these procedures unless I tell them, they just say how great I look and ask if I changed my hair! Haha! I couldn't have asked for a better result or care! Thanks for taking me back to my 40s, Dr Cohen! You ARE the best!

I got my nose done with Dr. Cohen, and my results are so beautiful and natural looking. Also, the healing process was not painful in the slightest, and he fixed my deviated septum so I can breathe more easily. I highly recommend him if you're looking to have a rhinoplasty, or any other cosmetic procedure, such as laser skin treatments.

Dr. Cohen is incredible. It's rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with an outstanding quality of medical care. The great medical office and even staff are wonderful, with a warm experience from start to finish. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes when I arrive on time for an appointment.

I really Appreciate Dr. Cohen taking the time to go over the treatment options, as he is also highly knowledgeable and skilled in his expertise. I visited about 3 other physicians and was let down by all, as I was told my case is really complex, but Dr. Cohen took it with no doubt in his abilities, and it was executed at a perfection level. Overall, Dr. Cohen gets it.

From his excellent treatment, curiosity, investigative mind and ability to connect, you know where you stand immediately and what the next steps look like. Attention doctors and future doctors if you want a masterclass in watching a professional bring knowledge and build rapport so that message is heard by the patient and therefore delivered watch this guy.

Dr. Cohen is a brilliant plastic surgeon who performed reconstructive surgery on my client who suffered painful and debilitating injuries from a dog attack. Dr. Cohen gave him his ear back (which the dog had torn off and swallowed) and closed a 3 inch by 12 inch hole in my client's leg where the dog ripped off part of his thigh. It is not an overstatement to say that Dr. Cohen has given my client a new lease on life. I would recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone seeking reconstructive surgery. To see what Dr. Cohen did with such traumatic injuries is nothing short of a miracle.

Dr. Barry Cohen is the BEST! He is so straightforward, honest and does perfect work. From the first consultation to Surgery date, he was completely transparent and informed us of everything 100%. He managed all of our expectations and exceeded them! I am truly happy with the results that surgery gave me. Not to mention Mo is an absolute delight. She is so sweet and helpful. Dr. Cohen is an incredible surgeon and physician. Not only is his work great but he is truly always available to his patients no matter what time of day or night. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Cohen, is a kind, loving caring doctor. I am a two time burn survivor. I have been a patient of his for 14 years. He has done a magnificent job. I have had several reconstructive surgeries. His staff is wonderful. Mo is fantastic she went above and beyond to make sure that I got my surgery as planned. I have nothing but love for Dr. Cohen and his staff. Everyone is extremely pleasant and helpful. I love Dr. Cohen dearly. There isn't enough words to explain how blessed and grateful to have him as my doctor.

After many years of trying to accept my body the way it was, I decided it was time to do something about it. After consulting with several different doctors, Dr Barry Cohen was the one that gave me the best answers and made me feel the most confident in the possible results. I had a major tummy tuck, breast lift, and neck/lower face lift done all in one surgery.

The results were astounding. I have found myself again. The entire staff of the Rockville office is friendly, efficient, professional, and very supportive. His confidence and personality both put us (my husband and I ) at ease. He took his time to answer every question we had. He answered texts and emails on weekends and evenings quickly and thoroughly. Doctor Cohen is amazing.! About 8 years ago I got a lower face and neck lift by different plastic surgeon. A week after the surgery my face looked the same as before. The surgeon redid the surgery and it was so painful that I clenched my jaw and ended up with TMJ. I had to go to a dental specialist and get braces! It was a nightmare, to make the a long story short there was no difference in my face from Before & After those two face lifts.

I said never again. Doctor Cohen said he could make me look 10 to 15 years younger under local and it would be less painful and I would get much better results. He didn't lie! Doctor Cohen is confident, honest, tells it like it is no sugar coating, plus he has charisma. I trust him fully. He did a wonderful job, I got a lower face and neck left and yes I do look a lot younger and the recovery was minimal I was driving 3 days later. I recommend doctor Cohen fully, call me and Id love to answer any of your questions. Do it, its worth it. I'm 65.

Where do I start? When I first met Dr. Cohen, ten years ago, he was wonderful kind and patient. He did such a good job then, I returned 8 years later. From the minute I walked into his office, I was greeted by a kind friendly staff. My first consult, I went with a list of questions and concerns, and he answered all of them and gave me great advice.

I left there not sure, only to return a week later with two more questions. I felt at home, in good hands and then I scheduled my surgery. I knew it was going to be a difficult surgery and because of the break, but I had faith that the outcome would be worth it. To date, my insides match my outside. I went from ugly duckling to beauty queen. I wouldn't recommend anyone else for the job. He is a true caring surgeon who looks out for his patients, with magical hands and skills. Look no further.

Very personable doctor. I've had PRP for my hair with him and each time, I don't come out feeling inadequate for dealing with hair loss. I would recommend him!

Amazing surgeon. He will never try to "up sell" you with things you don't need. Very honest, skilled and caring surgeon who truly cares about his patients. Also very affordable and his staff is AMAZING. Truly love going here & always leave happy.

I've been to many plastic surgeons, west coast, Hawaii, east coast. I'm SO glad I found Dr. Cohen! He's the best. I usually go to his Rockville awesome clinic, for detailed review see my posting under that clinic.

Very happy. I felt like he was normal, down to earth and knowledgable. I love how convenient the location is to my home in Potomac. Definitely going back.

I wasn't pleased with my consultation. I felt rushed and what I thought was supposed to be a 30 minute consultation lasted for under 10 minutes; barely. I did not even get a chance to answer all of my questions and concerns. I could tell, he was rushing to get to the next patient. When I showed up for my scheduled consultation the receptionist looked confused, as to why I was there.

With that being said, I refused to put my life in his hands. If this is happening with the consultation, you can only imagine during surgery or after post-op. I decided to go with another doctor, who did not rush my consultation (lasted for 30 minutes) and provided the necessary and detailed information.

The best BCPS in the DMV area. All the bad reviews r made up lies by certain people who r not even patients to be spiteful! I've referred approx 6 people to him with all perfect results. He has been my PS doctor for nearly 17 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Iam2beautiful because of him!

So Glad I found him. Fixed some badly done work from 5 years ago, and did a few more little things. Great staff. Very easy to understand procedures. Very little down time. Trust his knowledge and expertise and won't do things if they won't work for my needs. Search no more;; Knock on his door.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Cohen and his team. I went to him to see if he could fix the filler botch I got from another doctor. Not only did he fix me, his staff got me in to see him within 24 hours, and I had two follow-ups within a week. He is extremely compassionate and was immediately able to identify the problem and prescribe the right medication.

I was on the verge of a panic attack at my first consultation (which was free of charge by the way), but his knowledge and expertise immediately put me at ease. At this point I don't think I can ever trust anyone but Dr. Cohen with my aesthetic procedures again. Wonderful doctor and wonderful practice.

Bought the Groupon for 150ccs of Juvaderm. The process was quick, relatively painless, and they gave me an ice pack and some water when I started feeling a little nauseous. The Groupon price is phenomenal and they allow you to be 3 per person so you could definitely save some money if you have been thinking about getting fillers. I visited his McLean Office which has tons of parking and is a gorgeous office.

BJC is the absolute best Cosmetic Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon ever & I've met with many other PS & they were sharks. Doc BJC is NOT over priced at all. The facility is very clean & all the staff is professional. He is caring and has a great bed side manner. I can go on & on praising him. My long time record with him of about 20 years should speak for itself. He is GREAT

I wish I could give ten stars. I've been a loyal client of Dr. Cohen's for the past 3-4 years, solely for facial fillers - usually Juvederm and Belotero. I have referred two close friends to him for cosmetic surgery procedures. Dr. Cohen is a sweetheart. Always kind, patient, and honest with me. I've asked for certain procedures, and he has told me on several occasions, "No, you don't need that." I appreciate that very much.

He does an excellent job with the fillers. I'm a baby when it comes to needles, and he is always quick and efficient. He even apologizes for "hurting me." (It's not his fault at all; I just have an incredibly low pain tolerance. Most folks probably wouldn't feel much of anything.) I highly recommend visiting Dr. Cohen's McLean office over Rockville, as his office manager/nurse Mo at this location is such a pleasure to deal with!

Dr. Cohen and his staff are friendly and professional. He will show you what products he will be using - in their unopened original boxes with future (not past) expiration date so you know they're the real thing. I've had fillers a couple of times before and I'd have to say that Dr. Cohen's technique was better - less painful, faster and lovely results. He also is clearly experienced with a wide range of procedures & products and very willing to answer questions. I visited the Rockville office.

I have seen Dr Cohen on three different occasions for botox/juvederm. He has always been attentive and the results of his work quite good. I have been very satisfied and will continue to see him for fillers and possibly other proceedures.

I visited Dr. Cohen's office to get a Juvederm treatment. He was extremely rushed to performed my procedure. My face looks asymetrical, he injected the solution quite quick without taking time to ensure the symmetry of my face.

I had a breast job done by dr cohen several years ago, this is before I discovered yelp and therfor could not leave a warning about his work at the time. He BUTCHERED my breast!.I had multiple eruptions with saline implants and upon the second butcher job to correct it, he walked in the operating room smelling of vodka for my 'emergency' surgery:( He contributed to one of the most traumitizing experiences of my life.

I was young and did not legally pursue the situation or have any money to at the time. In conclusion he ended up giving me extremely large breasts that looked ridiculous!.because after the first eruption, he said he had no other implants in the office the size i needed for my second emergency replacement (unless I wanted to wait with one deflated breast). I do not know words for the awful, unprofessional butchering he put me through. RUN from this man.

Today I had an appointment with Dr. Cohen in his McLean office. While I have gone to his Rockville location in the past, I had always seen his PA for my treatment. I was greeted promplty and in a friendly manner by his front desk person. While I did have to wait nearly 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time (which did not make me happy), I was kept updated of the situation by the aforementioned front desk person.

Once I was in the room with Dr. Cohen, he was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and very informative. He listened thoughtfully to my questions and in no way rushed through my appointment. I have been to a few other plastic surgeon offices for similiar procedures and can say that Dr. Cohen is at the top of my list from now on. As I left, the front desk person was again, very friendly as well. I recommend Dr. Cohen and THIS office!
