UPDATE: I would like to add that CCRM responded that they provided me calendars stating that I should not get pregnant during the process but I was ALREADY pregnant before they sent me ANY information. This is confirmed by their own assessment of the fetal development and ultrasound. This business is absolutely atrocious. Please read about my experience and seriously consider moving forward here.

I went to CCRM to get fertility testing in March. On March 21st I received results back and was told i have diminished ovarian reserve and that my chances of conceiving naturally were extremely low. I was told IVF with an aggressive protocol would be my best option. I received that bad news and then had to wait one month for a "regroup" to discuss next steps with my doctor.

The following month I went to my regroup and was given my protocol which was a month of priming hormone meds which would start in May. After the May priming meds, I would start injections in June, and a tentative retrieval date for June 14th. From my regroup until today, I have done numerous blood tests, imagining exams, etc. I also had to order $7,000 worth of non-refundable IVF meds. Well, I found out yesterday that I have been pregnant since mid April.

I was pregnant almost the entire time I was in CCRM care. I was pregnant when they told me to start taking priming medications including testosterone. Certain priming medications are extremely dangerous for pregnant women. Testosterone is toxic to fetuses and is very well documented to cause serious birth defects. "Prenatal and neonatal testosterone exposure can cause sexual dimorphism in human behavior, including social development, as well as birth defects impacting genitalia development." Meaning even small amounts of exposure to testosterone in pregnant women can cause little boys to develop female genitalia and features, and little girls to develop male genitalia and features.

So now here I am, pregnant and being told by CCRM that they can no longer do anything for me. I have spent over $10,000 on IVF prep that I will not be able to move forward with and will not be able to get money back for. I have a poor outlook on my pregnancy and have unintentionally harmed my baby due to their guidance. I was pregnant all along, without any assistance from CCRM.

And now I am in a far worse position than I was before I contacted them. This company is not ethical. The amount of emotional distress I have been though since first contacting CCRM has been insurmountable. The experience of infertility is already stressful, scary, and sad at times. CCRM has done nothing but increase the pain a diagnosis of infertility can cause.

Dr. Laxmi Kondapalli & her team were the absolute best! My husband & I were championed since the start of our fertility journey at CCRM. I felt like I had a cheer squad to myself; I can't address how exhausted I came in to meet the team, but their support lifted my faith to go to battle for the family I had once dreamed of. I'll try to summarize our journey!

My husband & I got married in '15 & wanted children eventually, but chose to wait a few years. When we finally decided to start trying 3 years ago, the trying became endless & emotionally scarring. The pregnancy tests came out negative over & over again. In January of '21 we began our path with CCRM. I was frightened of the unknowns this journey presented to us: the shots, tests, & the waiting in between.

In July of '21 our first embryo was transferred from which I became pregnant! I am so blessed and honored to share that our precious, miracle-dream baby boy was born 3/27/22! We are thankful to God, Dr. K, Becca, Destiny, the front desk at the Rose location, Rachel on the research team, the embryologist & the rest of her excellent team!

A disaster of a "clinic" and they should lose their license for negligence and/or malpractice. They missed a major medical issue that our IVF clinic caught instantly. They constantly tried to overbill, we only saw our doctor once after three rounds of IUI, and just wasted our money and time. They were also always slow and very rude. I can't recommend them less.

I would highly recommend Dr. Kondapalli and her team. My husband and I tried for 3 years before going to CCRM for support. We went through 3 IUI's and one round of IVF before successfully getting pregnant. This of course was an emotional rollercoaster and very difficult physically and mentally but we knew CCRM always had a plan for our next steps.

There are millions of factors that could have been preventing us from getting pregnant, but this team never gave up on us. Reading the comments below, about how Dr. Kondapalli is just after your money is not true. It is a very expensive process, you need to know that going in. It takes a lot of time, energy and is straining physically, emotionally, and mentally.

I wish those who are having to go through this process the best of luck. You are not alone and you are enough. I have no doubt this team will support you to the best of their ability. Best of luck!

Update: My first IUI 5 years ago resulted in my beautiful daughter. 4 subsequent IUIs yielded no pregnancies. But Dr Barton was always there when we needed. She let it be known IVF was our best chance, but let us try as many IUIs as we wanted. I never felt pressure to go to IVF. Luckily, our insurance changed, and we were able to do IVF this year.

First transfer resulted in my current pregnancy. I've worked with three different nurses throughout the years and always felt supportive. If you're looking for a small town, hold your hand type clinic, CCRM isn't it. But if you want results and your best shot at growing your family, CCRM is your answer. I'm so grateful for all they have done for my family.

1 star is too high for CCRM. My wife and I spent eight months being manipulated and dragged around by the horrible, unprofessional staff. This "clinic" is ran by a bank and it shows through the employees. The doctors take no time to actually speak with you in person, but will charge you outrageous pricing for a 7 minute phone call where they tell you everything is just "fine" and "normal".

The nurses make you feel like you are inconveniencing them. You don't get a dedicated nurses contact info to actually talk to them when you have questions on things they don't go over. Inaccurate information was given by multiple nurses on multiple occasions and in the waiting room of all places. When you "complain" the "lead" nurse will then tell you that she will take over any cases that are deemed "difficult" but won't actually help you feel comfortable, just that her nurses are great.

Finance team is horrible, don't run things through insurance accurately and tell you it's your fault. Overall unprofessional, rude, and do not care about you. After the fourth IUI cycle we had already decided not to return, however after learning we were not pregnant, we held off on calling for a few days to help us process our next steps. Two and half weeks went by and not a single person from CCRM reached out to learn the results or check in.

On top of all of that, they will withhold your records from other doctors. No response for over a month after the request for documents, and took us calling multiple times to eventually get them. Don't waste your time or sanity going to this place, even if your doctors tell you it's the best clinic in CO, they absolutely are not and they will make your whole experience miserable!

Too large and business like. The doctors and nurses are very knowledgeable and professional, but after 2 rounds of IVF I would not recommend CCRM to anyone wanting a more personalized caring experience. We rarely saw our doctor, and often a different nurse each visit. They were also not very compassionate or willing to work with work schedule limitations.

We are now working with Dr Smith at Rocky Mountain Fertility Center and it has been night and day. We see Dr Smith and the same team at every visit, and they are super responsive and clear with communications.

I find it interesting you can go to a bar or a restaurant in person here and I can go to the dentist or any other of my doctors but yet we cannot get an in person consultation despite both me and my husband being vaccinated. They were not able to provide a timeline on when in person visits will resume. Fertility doctors and therapists are acting super selfish right now acting like they are so superior to restaurant workers or anyone else that works with the general public.

Get off your zoom calls and see your patients in person. Something like fertility treatment and conversations about fertility cannot happen virtually, it is such an emotional and difficult process, you would think they could provide better options.

Dr. Kondapalli is great! She has been my doctor through IVF and two babies now (my other doctor left the practice to move out of state and Dr. K joined between my first and second babies) and I have used CCRM Denver for 3 pregnancies. Dr. Kondapalli is very knowledgeable and kind and is willing to answer any and all questions - and do what it takes to get you pregnant!

The billing department and front desk are challenging to deal with at time but the most important thing to remember is that you are working with the BEST LAB in the country and, quite possibly, the world! I highly recommend this clinic to anyone I know who is starting their infertility journey.

My husband and I had been trying to conceive for 2 years before coming to CCRM in 2017 at the recommendation of my OB/GYN. I'm not sure I will ever be able to adequately express my gratitude and appreciation for the entire staff at the CCRM Rose office. Our doctor, Dr. Kondapalli, is so incredibly knowledgeable, kind and patient. She sat down with us to explain the whole process and she also listened to our wishes and concerns as we got started.

We attempted 1 round of IUI but wanted to move on to IVF after it was unsuccessful and Dr. Kondapalli was completely supportive. After our first embryo transfer was unsuccessful, Dr. Kondapalli actually called to check in and she made changes to our treatment course for the second attempt. Our second transfer in November 2019 was successful and we now have a 6-month old baby boy.

Our nurse, Angelica, was fantastic as well. Answered questions when we had them and supported us throughout. Additionally, the ultrasound techs, phlebotomists, nurse practitioner (Erin), and front office staff always made us feel that we were more than a number and recognized us as we came in for the 5th day in a row sometimes. There were a few bumps along the way (like a miscommunicated change in meds that delayed our second retrieval a month) but mistakes happen and it wasn't the end of the world.

We actually had a number of people (doctor, nurse, genetic counselor) apologize for that as well. IVF is a really physically and emotionally taxing experience and we couldn't have asked for a better group of practitioners and providers to help us get to our son! We are eternally grateful.
