Services
Unlike conventional medicine, which focuses on attempting to treat disease once it occurs, Community Chiropractic Group emphasizes improving your health in an effort to reduce the risk of pain and illness in the first place. Most people would rather be healthy and avoid illness, if they could. This is one of the main reasons for the big surge in the popularity of our wellness center.
Arriving at a doctors office for the first time can be a nerve racking experience. Paperwork to fill out, new faces and names to learn, and getting to know your way around the office; this can hit the senses all the at same time causing overload. In contrast, at Imatrix Management Center our aim is to remove any stressor causing unnessesary tension and make you feel comfortable. In this area of the website you will be able to take care of items necessary for your visit prior to arriving, in the comfort of your home.
Chiropractic care is like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem. The same is true for your body. Your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully.
Next, you will have a consultation with Dan George to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for Dan George to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals. After your consultation, Dan George will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your reflexes and flexibility. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well.

I had experienced back pain for years and it got worse after my two pregnancies. I would go to chiropractor after chiropractor for short term relief and was never fully relieved of my pain. I finally came here and Dr. Dallas was the first chiropractor that cared enough to give me an X-ray before treating me after he heard about my long term issues.

He diagnosed me with a scoliosis S curve with both curves over 30 degrees at ripe age of 29 and I was shocked, I had no idea. After just a couple weeks of consistent and knowledgeable treatment, I felt better than ever. I later moved away from the area and chose to see different provider(s) closer to my new home and have had nothing but bad experiences since and my pain increased again.

I was told I needed a brace in order to relieve my pain which would have costed me thousands of dollars and I just knew something wasn't right. After nearly 3 years, I finally decided to come back here and boy am I glad I did. After just one short week of the right treatment, I can already feel a huge difference. And Dr. Dallas educated me on braces and reassured me that it wouldn't have been the right path for me to take.

Not only does he want the best for you, he and the rest of the staff are amazing and friendly. Needless to say, I am a long term patient and I highly recommend coming here if you want what is best for you.

BEWARE, do not go here, as they are crooked and not trustworthy. I called and asked what the cash price was to be seen and was told $197 for 2 office visits, then $45 a visit after that. I paid $200 for 2 visits and then received a bill (after paying in full) for over $400. Same as other reviews on here. They also deceptively signed me up for a membership without showing me the full paperwork (the page that shows the membership card). DO NOT GET CARE HERE, go ANYWHERE BUT HERE. They are completely dishonest.

In March-April of 2020 I did 10 sessions here because that's all my insurance would cover. I paid my copays and bought all of the products they wanted me to. I asked how much an appointment would be without my insurance, I asked 3 times and never got a straight answer. So after my 10th appointment I never went back. They called for a month or two after to try to get me to come back in but I found a chiropractor closer to me who was upfront about pricing. Now, an entire year later, they have sent me to collections over $36.

I have no idea why I owe them anything, and the collections office has not been helpful either. No attempt was made notify me of a balance on my account. During March-April 2020 was the first lockdown of quarantine and I would be the only one wearing a mask. I risked my health for help and I still had to seek other care, my new chiropractor says I was misdiagnosed and I was finally able to get adjusted properly.

I had severe whiplash after a car accident. Pros: - I felt well-informed regarding my initial state-Dr. George showed me my x-rays and explained the implications of the angle analysis done on them. - Staff was friendly, and I never had to wait for my care (usually e stim and an adjustment); it seemed like they were running a tight ship. Cons: - Dr. George was sometimes pushy in the initial diagnostic phase. - I was never informed of anything to do with my treatment plan, or how long it was anticipated to take.

I should have asked when I wasn't told anything, so that's partly on me, but I'd have liked my treatment providers to be proactive in informing me of what to expect, since I was pretty shocked from my accident and also didn't know what to ask. - I actually had to move a month into my treatment (before we had started any physical therapy), so I was referred to a different practice in my area.

At the other practice (not connected to Community Chiropractic), I always felt like I was in the loop. My new chiropractor also told me that my treatment at Community Chiropractic exhausted my PIP (personal injury protection insurance) super fast, and he was surprised by how much they charged. I wouldn't recommend Community Chiropractic, but I don't feel they did me harm.

I do appreciate understanding the gravity of my injury from Dr. George, even if I now think some of his insistence had to do with my care being entirely paid for by insurance at high rates. Because he was so firm about my injury, I was able to receive the care I needed, albeit at another practice that I now trust much more. If I ever need a chiropractor in this area again, I'm not likely to go with Community Chiropractic.

LONG REVIEW. This review is based off an employment experience with Community Chiropractic--from years ago. As an older and wiser person, I was thinking back on this experience and was curious about what patients had to say about this business. I noticed *lots* of google reviews mentioning that Dr. Dan does temple work, and encouraging mormons to support him because of that.

Many of the bad reviews mentioned his lack of professionalism, and that is what I'd like to comment on today. If you are not mormon, or if discriminatory employment practices matter to you, I implore you to read through my experience. I worked for Dr. Dan for a brief period in my early 20s. During my interview, he was very friendly, engaging, and charming--but he also asked me if I was a Mormon.

Full disclaimer, I do not recall *exactly* how I responded. The truth is that I was raised in Mormonism but had left the church. However, I needed a job. I was aware that the question was inappropriate (and illegal) and even sort of lightheartedly asked "Are you allowed to ask me that?" However, I was not about to blow a potential employment opportunity and I have to assume that I then responded with partial truth--that I had been raised in the church.

On my first day after being hired, I was stunned to see that the cool dude who had interviewed me was *nowhere* to be found. I can only describe the transformation in his demeanor and the way he treated me as as sort of Jekyll and Hyde situation. It was distressing and confusing. Had the man I now worked for shown this side of himself during the interview, I would have left without seeking his employment. Today, I believe that my calling attention to the inappropriate nature of his question, even lightheartedly, during the interview was the cause of this shift. Anyway, what ensued was the briefest and most distressing employment experience of my life.

When he fired me a few weeks later, he said that I was "the worst he had ever seen." Since my responsibilities included folding towels, walking patients to their rooms, and general cleaning--I became immediately aware of 2 things: 1) he was not firing me because of my abilities or performance and 2) *he* was *aware* that he was not firing me because of my abilities/performance and was projecting to shift the blame.

I graduated college with honors, have received glowing feedback from every professional employer I've had since then, but was the worst towel-folder that ever worked for him? Right. I fully believe that I was fired because of my non-mormon status, and I only wish that I had possessed the confidence to seek legal recourse at that time. Additionally, so much of my experience tells me that Dr. Dan is somewhat abusive. So, if you are *not* mormon, consider giving your money to someone who does not practice discriminatory employment.

Chiropractor was apparently very unprofessional with my girlfriend, asking very unprofessional and inappropriate questions. Overpriced and Generic service. Would not recommend.

I brought both my daughters here for a while to get services. I appreciated the discount they gave me as a teacher, but I felt totally taken advantage of when I was charged $250 for a pair of flip flops. They say they are custom, but its pretty simple. One flip flop has a slightly bigger sole than the other. Community Chiropractic did not disclose the price to my 16 year old daughter or myself who is the person financially responsible. Imagine my shock at the sticker price. Needless to say, we are done with this company. I would rather pay full price than be taken advantage of in this way.

I walked into this clinic hoping to get help for my back pain I endured from a car accident. I said I just wanted to pay cash and not deal with the attorney. I just wanted to be pain free. Shelly who is the wife of the chiropractor and office admin. She told me they'd work with me but that I should meet with their attorney. I trusted them blindly.

I completed their "series" with minimal relief and continued to go to them after they submitted my case to the attorney. They had some ins special and I paid $45 a treatment. (Same exact treatment I did thru their series) well my attorney calls me and advised me to settled, the first offer we received didn't even cover their bill. I was forced to fight and try and get more because of the attorney fees and ridiculous chiropractor bill.

Their Chiropractic bill was 12k. I was livid. I told the attorney I wanted to speak the office because it was outrageous. I was blown away considering I was still seeking treatment from them and paying 45 a visit. So at that point i stopped going and have been getting care elsewhere. Attorney told me to wait until we settled to try and negotiate with them.

He wanted the case settled first and then we could speak to this office Which I shouldn't have done. the second we settled, they refused to do anything and justified their actions. Telling me that I just wanted the money. I walked away with 1k, no pain relief and between the attorney and this office They got about 26k I am now seeing a specialist on my own dime.

Even after telling the chiropractor I still had pain, once I finished their series of treatments or even during their treatment; nothing ever changes. They just said, see it through. They greet you and are so nice and sweet but when it comes to actually feeling better, they're just in for the money. DONT TRUST THESE GUYS!

I have gone to this Chiropractor on several occasions over many years for car accidents and other pain. I've always had a great experience. Until now. I will never return and will never recommend this business again. They claim to be medical providers, including having posters in the exam rooms about all the benefits of using a chiropractor as your primary care physician.

They take my insurance, and the ladies that checked me in we're kind and professional. I went in for neck pain unrelated to any accident, probably just slept on it funny. The first problem I experienced was none of the staff were wearing protective face coverings. I was taken to an exam room and asked my intake questions. I asked if the doctor would be wearing a mask, and if not, could he please do so while treating me as I am immunocompromised.

The doctor came in to evaluate my injury-no mask. He said they would do x-rays and left the room. The aid came back in to set up for the x-ray, along with Dr. Dallas George. No mask. I asked him to please keep a distance from me as he was not wearing a mask and I was immunocompromised. After the x-ray I received a treatment of electro stim and a hot pad. Dr. Dan George returned and told me that he would not be wearing a mask during treatment or at any time.

He said my mask will protect me and that they sanitize surfaces regularly. I politely corrected him in that my mask protects him, his mask protects me. I was not concerned about surfaces, I was concerned about droplets coming from his mouth. He continued trying to argue with me, gave me an outrageous diagnosis with an aggressive treatment plan (before looking at x-rays), told me if I didn't like that the doctors don't wear masks that I should go somewhere else, then, when I told him I would check with my doctor if it was a safe environment for me to be treated in, he demanded I return tomorrow.

It was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL for a medical office to ignore CDC guidelines for PPE to protect their patients from potential exposure to the pandemic, ESPECIALLY given the fact that I am at higher risk. He has been reported to the Davis County Health Department. As busy as they are, I don't know what will come of it, but if you value your health, stay away from this office.

I went in today for a degenerated disc. Impressive facility. Very cheerful staff. I was more impressed by the owner (and his wife who works the desk). The owner took me into his office for the better part of an hour and went over every detail of my x-rays. He spent a lot of time answering questions (I had plenty). The take away. These folks care. And they know what they're doing. My insurance doesn't cover chiro. I explained this. Consequently I was shown a treatment plan with a modest budget in mind. Overall great experience.

We were referred to this office for physical therapy assistance after a car accident, and it was one of the best decisions made during this stressful time. The staff listens to what you have to say and genuinely cares about your well being. We are greeted like they've known us for years every time we walk through the doors, and they have an end goal of succeeding.

Both Dr. Georges (Dan and Dallas) are great and knowledgeable, and the staff they hire is so much fun but also professional. We will be using them for any future necessities and highly recommend them to anybody.

The stars are for the fantastic reception girls, all very kind and helpful. I am 32 weeks pregnant. It was all fine until the chiropractor for some reason felt it was reasonable to ask me if "the father is in the picture". I don't feel like I have to explain why that is wildly unprofessional.

I love Community Chiropractic! I always leave there pain free or have significantly reduced pain! I've been to many chiropractors and these guys are by far my favorite ever! I'm so thankful someone referred me to them and would love to refer you to them as well! They are kind and more helpful than I ever realized a chiropractor could be before ei started seeing them.

Professional and listens to the patient. I have been going here for 3-4 years and have had great success in alleviating constant neck strain that leads to debilitating head aches. Dr Dallas is excellent and knows what he is doing. Never trust a review over billing. The chances are that patient failed to understand the services he was signing up for. Nothing is free. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I have been very pleased with the results I have gotten from an old injury. I went from not having a curve in my neck. Not being able to do much of anything, to now having a curve in my neck. I have been able to be a mom and have my life back. I would highly suggest this office to anyone. The staff is amazing and the drs are very knowledgeable.

I have been very impressed with the treatments I am receiving here. I'm still in the process of healing, but my strength and mobility are increasing. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming. I have sent my husband, daughter and son here and any one else who has asked for recommendations. They are great at what they do.

***DO NOT SEEK CARE HERE! PLEASE READ MY FULL REVIEW AND OTHERS WITH SIMILAR STORIES*** ***UPDATE: I spoke with Shelly in billing. She tried to justify the substantial change in balance due but refused to meet me on any middle ground or admit that their billing practices and general policies are unethical and unfair. Review unchanged; would leave zero stars if I could.*** Dishonest.

Poor care. No respect for your time. Deceptive billing. I sought care for minor recurring back pain, which I have had successfully adjusted several times by other chiropractors. One chiropractor, in particular, has been successful at adjusting this problem area every time, without fail, for a flat fee of $25 per adjustment. However, that chiropractor's practice is in Lehi, and I was in a hurry to have my back adjusted so I could go to work so I opted for Community Chiropractic, which is right around the corner from my house.

The initial visit lasted nearly two hours. The x-ray machine was so old that I felt a slight electrical shock each of the 5-6 times an image was taken. Then, after the x-rays, I was asked to move to a treatment room to review the images. The chiropractor recommended electro-stimulation and ultrasound, which I refused because I needed to go to work.

I asked him to adjust my back and he continued to press the issue of electro-stimulation. The chiropractor was unable to adjust this problem area and blamed his lack of success on my refusal to accept electro-stimulation and other unnecessary recommended upcharge services, then suggested I come back for another visit with electro-stimulation, ultrasound, and another adjustment.

His adjustment techniques were the most aggressive I've encountered after countless chiropractic visits. I followed his recommendation and, while he was able to adjust my back on the second visit, the pain was not alleviated. A few days later, I opted to drive to Lehi, where my usual chiropractor was immediately successful in adjusting my back and alleviating the pain (for $25!).

After all was said and done, the chiropractor had made my back pain was worse, no doubt due to his aggressive technique, and I ended up with one bill for $81.64 after insurance covered a portion and having made $80 in payments. Then I received a second bill for $275.63. I called for clarification and was informed that the current balance was, indeed, $275.63, but they could not explain why.

They told me they would "accept" the payment of $81.64 and follow up with me for the remainder. This is ongoing and I am awaiting a call back from Shelly, their billing expert, for an explanation and clarification. Bottom line: Exponentially better care is available for substantially less money, no insurance required.

I came to community chiropractic after being told by doctors that I needed to see a specialist but the only available scheduling was over a month away. With only that appointment scheduled and a small print out listing things that might help they said there wasn't much else they could do till the appointment with the specialist. In the mean time I was so bad off that I was no longer able to keep up with work taking days off whenever pain was to great, or stand up straight for that matter with the pain increasing daily.

Pain was beginning to affect driving as it was becoming painful to simply turn my head and made most of my social life and outdoor activities a seemingly impossible goal. upon a recommendation from an old coworker of mine I went to community chiropractic (thankfully close to my home) for treatment. They began an assessment and X-rays as soon as I arrived (as did the doctors office who I wont talk about). before leaving that day he began to look into my issues and had given me a therapy session to begin reducing pain. by day two the doctor Dallas and Doctor Dan had assessed my X-rays and informed me I had a birth defect called Facet Trophism, Scoliosis and a short leg but to put it simply parts of my spine are crooked in more ways than one and my left leg is much shorter than the other. we went over a treatment plan and began care and even worked with me on billing as I was in a little bit of a financial bind.

I walked into Community Chiropractic physically unable to hold my head up High and worried that I wouldn't be able to keep working at all, today I go on weekend hikes, drive any distances I want or need to, and live my life almost as normal no longer having pain restricting so many aspects of my life. Its thanks to this family and team that the pain I experience is under control.

The entire team will look after you every step of with way with kindness a swift yet gentle care. This is your FIRST stop for recovery from back pain. Being "cured" may not be possible but they will help you find real relief.

Watch out for the delayed charges. I was a patient there for about 4 months. After I stopped going I received a bill for over $250. This was for a decompression service. They never expressed there would be an additional charge nor did they charge me an extra fee during those visits. Behold months after I stop going they send me a bill for over $250.

When I call them on it they admit to having quirky accounting practices and say they'll accept $105. They used the old Door in the Face technique, Grrr. I suggest you look elsewhere for chiropractic services if you must go there make sure to get an invoice for all services rendered after each appointment.

I have been to a few chiropractors over my many years. I have kept myself in good shape, but occasionally something gets out of alignment and professional help is needed. The staff at community chiropractic is the best I've seen. They function the way a medical office should. Dr. Dallas George is a professional with a professional education not a just a certification. He can see the problem and correct it without unnecessary measures. I heartily recommend Community Chiropractic when professional chiropractic assistance is needed.
