For future readers, the post below was posted to the CHC facebook page 3/28/2020, as COVID-19 is beginning to climb in the US and has an 11% mortality rate in Italy. To me, it sounds disturbingly like a man approaching retirement who is far more concerned with the health of his investments than the safety of his patients or his community. Additionally, I've noticed the CHC parking lot full every day, despite orders from the OHD to limit visits only to those that are essential.

My wife's practice has dropped their office visits dramatically to comply with those orders. Perhaps a compliance audit by the state would be in order. As a patient of his practice, but not him directly, I cannot continue to enrich or support him even indirectly. I will be calling tomorrow to get my records and will find another physician. I encourage other CHC patients to consider the same.

If money is what he values, that may get his attention. ------ From our CEO, Rodney Ison, MD: After years of not doing social media, I feel I must express my concern. I have been a health care provider for 37 years in family practice. I have seen more of these viruses come and go than I can count. I happen to be in the age group at risk of serious complications from this illness and practice everyday on the front line of this illness.

I must tell you the consequences of our current actions will be worse than any thing this virus will do. Yes, it is serious and will take lives, maybe even mine. I am far less afraid of dying than of not leaving a viable country behind for my children and grandchildren. That is the course we are on. Do not kid yourself, we have 2 -3 weeks before our economy will struggle for years. Yes, please protect the elderly, but do not destroy our future to avoid the scorn of the media.

Please do not miss interpret this, this health risk is serious, but also is the risk to our country's future. Thank GOD I am not in control, only He is. Please pray for our leaders to start trusting in Him and not themselves.

Fantastic is the best word for this group of doctors! The staff is friendly and do not make you feel uncomfortable at all! I do not recall how long they have been handling our health needs, but they are the best in the area! My doctor is not just a doctor, but the ECO OF AT LEAST eight similar business of doctors and staff in the general area! Plenty of parking, great hours of availability!

The work with several health insurance! They have both male and female doctors for your comfort and privacy! Clear policy and rules to keep the business running smoothly! Well organized, but you feel like you are given personal and friendly service. I highly recommend this or any of their community healthcare facilities! They can handle several people at the same time with the way it is organized and the many patient-rooms they have in use!

They have health terminals in every room to allow you to read and get details about a variety of health issues and questions! You do not need to understand computers to use them either!
