I had Rotator Cuff surgery 05/11/22. My surgeon Dr. Derek Shia did a wonderful job, very pleased. Dr. Shia has an excellent bedside manner and explained things very well. He also listens intently and answers all my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Shia for anyone with shoulder problems. The staff in Milford are excellent. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. I read some reviews that the staff were unfriendly, that couldn't be further from the truth. I have been there multiple times and never experienced anything like that.

The check in process was pretty quick, they handed me an iPad and I was able to answer all questions there. They processed me really quickly and got me to the MRI machine. The only reason why I gave them 3 stars is because it was so cold in the room they were doing the MRI. The machine was set up in a trailer outside of the facility and it was a cold January evening. It would have been nice to have some heat or a blanket. They were professional and got me in and out but a little bit of warmth would have been nice.

I have had the best experience with many doctors in this practice. Lauren and Amy are incredible therapists with attention to detail. They not only listen to their patients, but are sure to continue to evaluate.

The staff is rude, they don't take covid concerns seriously, and the doctors are not concerned about quality of care, just how much money they can get from their patients! I asked to speak with Dr. Bernstein to alleviate some of my concerns and to ensure I was seeing the right doctor. He couldn't be bothered to answer any questions, address any concerns, nothing. What a disappointment.

I came here to this office because my daughter's knee was swollen first I was told over the phone that they take my insurance then when I came in they tell me that they don't take my insurance I said ok I will pay for it then they said we don't accept self pay Are they crazy I drove 2 hours because my daughter goes to college in Connecticut to take her to this place ed the left hand doesn't know what the right hand does unacceptable that I waited all these hours I could have taken my child home and found a doctor in my state which I did The nerve in suggesting that I take my daughter to the hospital is ridicules Even more ridicules is that I could not pay Unacceptable be very careful what th they tell you over the phone I would not suggest this place

The doctor and the medical assistants were very informative and helpful. There are many locations which offers good flexibility. The sign-in process and Covid questions were done online and sent via text message. at least in my case, which made it very simple and fast to sign-in.

My husband had an attack of gout and was in severe pain. We called and were told by ortho to go to ct ortho now walk in which is part of this group. Customer service was terrible and after receptionist consulted with MD right in front of my husband, she returned to desk to say "sorry, we can't help you!" Really, there was NOTHING they could do to even help with pain?

They offered to refer him to ortho at later date! What good is that - he could not even walk! He headed right over to Stony Creek Urgent Care. He was seen immediately and diagnosed. Meds were changed and pain has been relieved. Do not waste your time at CT Ortho Now, go next door to Stony Creek Urgent Care! This place is terrible!

Worst customer service, horrible wait times, just over painful experience dealing with them.

Basically a group of scam artists with MD after their names. Every single time I went in for an appointment, no matter how early in the morning It was, I would be waiting in the general waiting room for at least 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. When the doctor finally saw me, she called me by the wrong name. I always felt like she was rushing me out of the office.

She never really listened to my complaints about my ankle and always sent me away to make an appointment for two weeks (excessive, right?). After an unnecessary amount of pointless appointments, I walked out, NEVER to return. Do not recommend.

Went in for a dislocated knee. They saw me several times but did nothing. They kept "looking into my insurance" and said, oh yeah this is covered. Paid a co-pay every time then got bills for hundreds and hundreds of dollars. When I called to ask they said oh you haven't hit your deductible. Ok, but why did they tell me it was pre-approved and covered? Well they don't know. DON'T TRUST THEM, and DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. I wish I looked on yelp before going in there.

I don't think much of Dr. Ruwe. He pokes you for about 5 seconds and determines your pain isn't really pain and that nothing is wrong with you- especially If you are a workers comp patient. I do my best to avoid this center that's focused on pleasing the insurance companies rather than the patients.

I have been treated by both Dr Ruwe and Dr Beiner of this group. I have had an excellent experience with Dr Ruwe for a shoulder issue and a broken foot. I was treated promptly, fairly, and progressively for my issues. I happen to prefer conservative treatment for issues and found the treatment appropriate and effective for my situations. Dr Beiner is currently treating me for a back injury and is being thorough and conservative as well. so far so good.

No stars. I went to Dr Marino. Among other things, he did not bother to order an MRI despite my description of intense pain and neurological symptoms, he did not return my PTs phone calls. My last contact was when I left a message with his secretary telling him I was in a lot of pain and was out of pain meds. No response. Ever. I switched to my PCP, who quickly ordered the MRI.

I have two herniated discs in my neck and am headed for surgery. Marino did not take me or my symptoms seriously, he just told me i have arthritis in my neck. His secretary doesn't know how to take messages. There are lots of good docs around here. No need to go this group. The staff is rude and uncaring.
