Services
Dr. Murray specializes in the evaluation and management of sports-related injuries in both the elite athlete as well as the weekend warrior. His philosophy is to employ the latest diagnostic and treatment options available to return the injured athlete to their preinjury level of function. His goal is to maximize nonsurgical treatment strategies prior to recommending surgical intervention for most injuries. Those that require surgical intervention are promptly treated to minimize time lost from the activity and maximize functional recovery.

We are proud to offer the MAGNETOM Espree, a large-bore 1.5 T MRI magnet for our patients' convenience. This highly-regarded MRI is a new way to do MRI, with the shortest magnet and the largest diameter of its kind. In addition, it is powered by Tim (total imaging matrix), which allows our doctors to detect and diagnose diseases more quickly to deliver the highest quality care possible.
At Core Orthopedics, we offer a variety of alternative treatments to surgery, including regenerative medicine such as stem cell therapy. Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy is a ground-breaking treatment that uses proteins known as growth factors. Growth factors are naturally occurring substances that enhance the healing process of injuries.

Betsy is the absolute best! she is so friendly and great at explaining and teaching hand stretches. my hand is starting to feel better and it's getting a lot easier to use without pain. she is fantastic! the whole clinic is awesome & super friendly as well. totally would recommend if you need any kind of physical therapy

The staff at Dr. Metz's office is very attentive and pleasant to work with! From my first visit to the office, it is clear Dr. Metz is very earnest about his work and with his patients. He and the nurse took close care to my recent injury while addressing all of my concerns and creating a clear, personalized plan of action.

Dr Metz was knowledgeable and very attentive. He respected my thoughts and my time. He arranged for me to come back later in the day to be fitted for my splint rather thank having me wait around for hours. Never had a doctor be so respectful of my time! The first thing I noticed was the technology in his office is current and top rate. This is after working with another orthopod for the last seven weeks on a broken hand that her x-ray machine never even saw.

Sadly disappointed, we waited weeks to have this appointment. Dr. Kuesis was rude and spent maybe 3 minutes in the room with us. He rattled off a bunch of things to have done to his nurse and left. He didn't even examine my daughter. He had her touch her toes, move her neck and point her toes. My daughter has an ongoing rib, knee and hip problem from dancing ballet.
None of those areas were assessed. He dismissed her dancing as the source of injury and asked no questions. We will not be going back. There was no communication and we did not feel comfortable. I've heard he is an amazing surgeon, but he has no bedside manner! We were so hopeful he would be able to help us and were referred by 2 different people. The only nice thing I can say, is that the support staff was friendly and efficient. If you're looking for answers, he is not the doctor to see!

I had a knee injury from a fall. Dr Murray's office got me in the Monday after the fall on a weekend. He was kind and patient and didn't jump to conclusions. X-rays and MRI revealed a fracture. He had already fitted me for a brace. His staff and Dr. Murray were professional and prompt in all aspects. Follow ups are already scheduled. I'm satisfied!
