Services
D'Ambrosio Eye Care was founded in 1984 to serve the eye care and eye surgery needs of patients from throughout greater Boston, central and western Massachusetts. Our ophthalmology and optometry practice has worked to develop and maintain a reputation for providing eye care in Massachusetts based on several important core values and principles.
The eye doctors at D'Ambrosio Eye Care work together as a team of ophthalmologists, eye surgeons and optometrists who provide primary and specialized eye care. When choosing an eye doctor, especially an eye surgeon for any type of eye surgery, it is important to make an informed choice based on the qualifications, training and experience of your eye doctor.
Routine eye exams for eye health, vision correction, eyeglasses and contact lenses are provided at D'Ambrosio Eye Care by our team of Ophthalmologists and Optometrists. Regular eye exams for seniors and adults are the best way to prevent eye health problems such as age related macular degeneration (AMD), glaucoma, cataracts and diabetic eye problems from leading to vision loss.
In order for you to have clear vision, light must be able to pass through the optical structures of your eyes and focus properly on the retina. The two primary structures that are responsible for refracting, or bending light so that it can focus properly on the back of the eye, are the cornea, which is the outermost clear curved "lens" that is visible when looking at your eye from the side, and the crystalline lens, which is located behind the colored part of the eye, or the iris, and is not directly visible.

Looked and looked online to pay my "overdue" bill but no such animal. Guess I'll wait until I get downtown.

I've been going here for some time. Dr Wu has been treating my glaucoma. Recently I experienced a broken blood vessel in one eye. They fit me in immediately for tests & treatment. As busy as it is I am always amazed how organized and relaxed it feels.

Terrible and sassy customer service. When these people have a bad day they take it out on you. Highly unprofessional staff.

Impeccably clean office, professional and attentive staff all the way around. I called for an appointment and they were able to book me the next day due to a cancellation, and their optical staff happened to be in the same day, lucky! They got me in even without a cellphone check-in (I'm one of the few who don't own one) and brought me in quickly. Perfectly smooth experience all the way through, would highly recommend. Don't believe the negative reviews, this place is great!

I do my best to be polite and follow the lead of my optometrist but they literally do their best to belittle me. This place is okay to go to for updating your prescription but God forbid you have vision problems. Just go to the one in Leominster. Last I went here, I was ridiculed by the person who saw me and left embarrassed and upset.

The staff seemed nice but wow slow! Had a 1040am apt time, was not roomed until 1135 (after I had to ask if they were running late). Waited until 1155 and finally walked out after NOT being seen. IF I had waited and DID need my eyes dilated I would have been there for 2+? hours thats ridiculous if you ask me.

LOVE this eye care center. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Doctors an assistants are very nice and attentive. And very good with children as well. Both me and my son go here.
