Took husband there this afternoon after jumping off the porch wrong. Doctor didn't even look at foot that was hurting. Got X-rays and waited for results. Then he ordered cat scan. We were there for 4 hours. Didn't sign paper work needed for his job. In general, very unprofessional.

Tried again and wished I hadn't. This is the most worthless, uncaring, unprofessional, and not to mention HOTTEST hospital I've ever been to. Do yourself a favor and drive to Vincennes.

I have CLL and have been a regular patient in the oncology infusion center next to Dr. Waits' office for several months. Dr. Waits is my hematologist/oncologist. I have also dealt with x-ray/CAT scan technicians, the same-day surgery staff, the admitting department and the laboratory staff during the last six months or so. I have yet to run across one crabby, grumpy, short-tempered, rude, snotty jerkface the whole time.

Literally everyone has been kind, professional, knowledgable, understanding, gentle, good-humored and compassionate. I live 45 minutes away and I could go to a treatment location much closer to home, but 45 minutes driving is a small price to pay to be treated so well so consistently.

If you want to die, or get incorrectly cared for.here's your place! Went the the ER Because of blockage in my intestines; they did everything perfectly in the ER, there was talk of sending me to Evansville for surgery, DR LAHANO canceled it, put me on meds and made me stay for 2 days doing nothing I asked for another scan on my intestines to see if any inflammation has went down and I was denied it, Ive had Crohn's since 13, I know a great deal, I talked to him and when I got there to hospital I was to be sent to Evansville because none of the drs knew anything about Crohn's, dr lahano pretty much told me because he's the dr he knows all, and I know nothing, he's not going to release me, nor would he order more scans to check for inflammation, that it would take 4/7 days to get better. he also told me I didn't have a GI in jasper, there is no DIgestion center in jasper, only closest GI Is in Evansville.for this I walked. the nurses were awesome they did what they could, they made me as comfortable as I could be, and brought any drinks I needed. They are the heart of the operation, the drs. no.

This was a disaster. My mom went in for surgery on her throat and tonsils. The heavy set nurse with red hair refused to give my mother her pain medication and even said she had a similar surgery but decided to go to Jasper Hospital. She wouldn't even give her any of her regularly prescribed medication. When my father called the hospital they said they were In the process of discharging her, but she hadn't even seen the doctor until after my father hung up the phone. I have many other horror stories with DCH, but this just happened this morning.

They never can send my prescriptions in at the right time so I'm constantly going between taking my medicine and not taking it. Due to their issues. The office is awful at calling you back if you leave a message. They are always so booked. I've been going since October and found a decent doctor, but go figure they left the office. So they had to cancel my last appointment unexpectedly.

They told me they'd call the Monday following since it was Friday and they had alot going on. so it's been two weeks and no one has answered or called back and I'm going in person this morning so they can't ignore me. One medicine since October they haven't been able to contact insurance or whatever, but the nurse keeps giving me free samples. I've ran out several times waiting on them.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a outpatient office. wouldn't recommend to a single soul, I can't wait to move here soon and find a better office. This was specifically for the transitions office on the 3rd floor. Outpatient therapy.

I took my son here for an outpatient therapy session. The receptionist had double booked my appointment with another patient. Thus, our session was cut to 20 minutes. I understand that mistakes happen. I was frustrated, but understanding of this. However, I have received my bill and am shocked at the excessive charges. Our therapy session (for 20 minutes) was billed at $60. Then, they added a facility charge of $220.

This leaves me paying nearly $300 for a 20 minute outpatient therapy appointment. I have filed a formal complaint with the billing department but I know that will get me nowhere. Im a nursing instructor for mental health clinicals so it is truly appalling to me. I did not realize that excessive billing for mental health services was within the DCH's mission and values.

Forgot insulin on a trip 3 hours from home. The only pharmacy open 24 hours would not help by giving me a syringe to fill my insulin pump for me a type one diabetic. I had my pump, empty canister, and insulin and still no help from the pharmacy. Thank God for this place. They allowed me an insulin syringe to fill my pump. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I really appreciate it more than you can begin to understand.

My husband went for a tooth infection to get antibiotics because it was getting bad. We do realize teeth are for dentists which they rudely informed us but he was in a lot of pain and wanted some relief without having to wait. The receptionist was so ridiculously rude to start and then the person he saw insisted that there was no infection. Even though there was clear inflammation which they acknowledged.

We went to Good Samaritan and they said he had a definite infection and prescribed antibiotics and they didn't hassle him once and were professional. I also went for a bad cut previously and the doctor stapled it which I've been told is unusual he also refused to give me a shot for pain and gave me the lidocaine rub on lotion? Instead. He then stayed gone for thirty minutes until it wore off and then called me a baby and after he stapled the wound he stated " you handled that pretty good.for a girl"
