Dr. Demand was a horrible surgeon and human being. He botched my surgery by putting in a size 3 times bigger than what I had a literally initialed for on my paperwork. Not only that but he demanded I pay for an entirely new surgery to fix what he did. I can't imagine any other certain at this clinic being any better

I had my mommy make over in 2014. It's now June 2020. My surgery went well. What I didn't like was how he made my incision. one side is uneven and way thicker than the other which that tells me it was the first incision that he made. They are about almost 2 in a half inch. Yes I put scar creme in it everyday and scar tape but I have thick keloid that a creme will not work or do any justice.

From my mommy makeover incision I developed thick keloid scars from under my breast and stomach. My belly button is horrible to look at till this day thinking after I have this mommy makeover I would be happier but no I'm not. Everyday I look in the mirror and regret going to Ronald DeMars. When I called and asked about my keloid scar the women answered and just said to put the creme on that I paid $100 dollars for a small tube.

I put it on all my scars and it didn't even help. Dr DeMars also said if I didn't like my keloid scar that I could come back and get it fixed but when I went back he wouldn't even talk to me just ignored me and when I asked the nurse they made excuses. I only got to talk and see him one time since my surgery. I called and asked for him on the phone but only the nurse would answer or get back to me.

I paid about $14,000 for this unsatisfied mommy makeover for a breast augmentation and tummy tuck that left me with scars that I can't even show my body. My belly button is also a little high from the tummy tuck. He showed he cared before the surgery and after the surgery he could careless. I got an email saying he no longer practice anymore and that he retired. I'm left with scars that will never go away. I didn't get lucky. I got bad results he didn't do a good job.

Dr DeMars and his team are truly the best all around! I will only recommend Dr DeMars to my clients because i have seen his work and no one compares! I have never had anyone come in after a procedure with Dr DeMars and complain about one thing! Everybody loves their results and are so happy! Thank you Dr. DeMars and Team!

Dr. DEMars was realistic, completed what he said and agreed to realistic modifications. Sometimes reality and the mirror can be a bit confusing. I recommend therapy Before. During and after a proceedure to ensure success.

I attempted to receive a refund on my deposit for a procedure that was not to occur over a month out due to a layoff. The office was unwilling to consider my request and did not offer any alternatives. There is no doubt Dr. Demars would have been able to fill the appointment due to his pending retirement. It makes me think the office cares more for their bottom line and not the well being of the people they serve. Tammi, in their office, is extremely rude and uncaring. I'd skip this place if I were you. Just a production line.

I saw Dr DeMars this past winter to inquire about a tummy tuck, and lipo on my hips and back. His office staff went above and beyond every step of the process. I was very nervous about my consult, and Dr DeMars made it so much less embarrassing than I was anticipating. He was very informative with my surgical options and answered all of my questions truthfully, and what I felt was honest.

After my procedure I was overwhelmed with my results. I really could have lost a good 25 lbs before my surgery, but have really struggled losing my weight. Despite not being at my ideal weight, I was blown away with how flat my stomache was post op. And my stubborn hips where gone after my lipo! My expectations were surpassed, and I am so pleased with my new body. I would recommend Dr DeMars and his years of experience to everyone.

I recently had a Mommy Makeover.(Tummy Tuck and Breast Augmentation) From the beginning Dr. Demars has been kind, informative, and has answered all my questions in detail. Surgery day went so well. the staff were all kind and fun and made my day feel so special. My results are Amazing! I feel more confident and inspired to continue staying healthy to keep looking great! I would highly recommend Dr. Demars and staff to anyone wanting to do something nice for themselves. 5 star treatment all the way!

It's been a couple years now since my breast augmentation with Dr. DeMars and i meant to write this sooner but better late than never! I made my choice by the vibe I got from him in the consultation as well as his staff at the front desk. I get so many compliments and I am so thrilled with the job he did! He's fantastic!

Dr DeMars and his staff are all wonderful, and the professionalism was outstanding. I felt vert well taken care of, very informed of the procedures I was having and expectations during my consultation. The surgeries and healing process went extremely well. In 2010 I had a Breast Augmentation & Chin Augment. The enhancements were dong perfectly, I could not be happier with the result.

I went back in 2014 for a Tummy Tuck and muscle tightening. After having kids I was very self conscious of my stomach and loose skin & didn't feel comfortable in a swim suit anymore. Working out proved no result in my mid section and I felt very discouraged. After this procedure I have my confidence back and am able to wear a fitted shirt and bikini again! He took great attention to detail and the scar line is below my panty line and swim suits. I am beyond pleased with my results. Best Decision!

I had heard lots of great things about Dr Demars from multiple friends so I decided I would take the plunge and set up a consultation. All of the staff is very kind and accommodating and Dr Demars is very thorough and I felt very comfortable with him. He explained everything in detail and he was there to answer any and every question. I scheduled my surgery for 6 weeks after my consult.

I had a full tummy tuck, breast lift and augmentation. I have never been so happy with my body! Everything turned out better than I ever expected. If you've been considering having some work done, Dr Demars is the best around and I would highly recommend him. Best decision I ever made, I would do it all over again!

Dr Ronald DeMars is an excellence surgeon, very caring, i know PT. are traveling from far away to get surgery bu him, he is very matriculates deliver excellent results because he know what will be the best procedure for you. thru out the consult pre operative appointment and scheduling the surgery and the after care he is available to care for you answer all your questions and make you feel very comfortable thru out this experience, I as an office manager of plastic surgeon with 20 years experience, highly recommend Dr DeMarse for all aspect of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, he is a truly an artist that deliver perfect results.

For the past several years, I was considering getting facial rejuvenation surgery, but was hesitant because I knew others who did not get a good result from a similar procedure. After learning about Dr. DeMars, I decided to travel to Portland (from Hawaii) because he came so highly recommended. At my initial consultation, Dr. DeMars thoroughly explained my options and discussed the elements of the surgery.

He took the time to answer my many questions and never made me feel rushed. His staff provided me with written information and what to expect before, during and after the surgery. I was also shown an informative video. I never felt pressured to make my decision and left the office feeling well informed and confident in Dr. DeMars and his team. Whenever I called to ask follow-up questions, I was greeted warmly and my questions were quickly answered.

Four months later, I traveled back to Portland to have the surgery. Every step of the way, I was made to feel comfortable, valued and cared for. The facility is lovely and contributed to my level of comfort. The nurses were wonderful and made sure I had everything I needed. The anesthesiologist spent a long time with me going over what would happen during the surgery, answering my questions, and making sure I was comfortable with the process. Dr. DeMars came in and again discussed what he would be doing.

Before I knew it, I was out of surgery and in recovery. The nurses were very attentive, and I was surprised at how good I felt. I was also amazed that after only a week post-surgery, I was able to go out in public! There was minimal pain and discomfort, and my recovery was a breeze. The results are fantastic, and I look 15 years younger.but completely natural.

My friends comment on how refreshed and relaxed I look, but aren't aware I had anything done. I couldn't be happier with Dr. DeMars and his team and wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend him to anyone who is considering cosmetic surgery. You won't be disappointed!

I initially contacted Dr. DeMars back in May 2015 for a breast reduction and spoke with Tish in financial about insurance, costs, and time frame. From there I was able to get insurance approval and scheduled my reduction for November 2015. The pre-op appointment went smoothly, Dr. DeMars explained the benefits and possible drawbacks to having a breast reduction.

He explained the process and recovery fully and I was completely comfortable with him and confident that I would be receiving the best care. He answered any and all questions I had and assured me that the surgery would go smoothly. The day of my reduction I went in and met with the Anesthesiologist who walked me through his role and (painlessly) put my IV in my hand.

From there I was marked up by Dr. DeMars and taken into the operating room. Next thing I knew I was waking up in recovery. I wasn't feeling much pain at all and was released after Dr. DeMars confirmed my vitals were stable and I was ready (about 2 hours). Recovery wasn't easy but it was certainly less painful than I thought it would be. Now that I am 2 1/2 months out of my surgery and feel fantastic.

My once size H breasts are now a small D and my scars are healing well. My breasts are proportional, and even and look completely natural. Best of all I feel great and look better. Dr. DeMars and his staff have been professional, courteous, helpful, and available to answer any questions I had. I have no doubt I went to to the right surgeon for the job and would highly recommend Dr. DeMars to anyone who is thinking of a reduction or cosmetic surgery.

I am a satisfied repeat patient of Dr. DeMars. Everyone who knows and loves me are very happy for me and the results they see. Obviously, since I did return for another procedure, I have complete confidence in the results. Equally important, however, is the kindness with which I am treated. Dr. DeMars has always taken the time to talk with me and answer questions.

When I had trouble financing? What an unscrupulous strike of this office towards me to state such nonsense and irrelevance to my review about this staff's unprofessional ways. Yes, it's overwhelming to think I was about to spend over 18k on plastic surgery! I simply wanted what was best and what was truly going to make me happy. For the record, I had already made my 1st payment to Care Credit by the time I had my surgery, goes to show I had already been charged A MONTH in advance way before my surgery and not the 2 weeks prior to surgery like this office claims. I'm also very reserved and not the type to make a big fuss or scene about how the personnel at this office made me feel, thinking I'm never going to see them again anyways. I'm sure they're quite aware of how they treat each individual they work with therfore I had no need to say anything about their unprofessional demeanor.

I also asked to please extend my light duty due to a few very large and very painful abnormal knots that have formed under my incision scar from the tummy tuck procedure! Which by the way the Dr. had no knowledge of what they were unless he operated and remove them. I wasn't even given an idea of what they could possibly be, I had to do some research on my own to figure out more answers to my questions. I always felt so rushed out of this office and my questions always unanswered. Overall, what a upsetting experience.

I had a gynocomastia surgery done this year by Dr DeMars. I had a lot of tissue remaining went to office unhappy with my results. He claimed he did the best he could. I went to three different plastic surgeon's after and all three stated they have never seen it done this poorly and Dr. DeMars gave me two scars that could have been prevented. I ended up doing a revision surgery in Texas by Dr. Robert Carridi Austin Gynocomastia Center. Dr. Carridi said he never seen this surgery performed this bad, he ended up taking 3 hours instead of the 1 1/2 hour scheduled to fix. Dr. Carridi is one of the best Dr's in this field and he said that Dr. DeMars should not perform these surgeries with such poor results.

When I asked DeMars to show me pictures of my surgery he did not have any. Dr. Carridi let me see pictures and even touch the glands he removed. There was a lot of tissue/glands left that were not taken out the first time. I can't believe how un- professional Dr. DeMars was, he wouldn't even talk to us about the result he kept trying to say it was all in my head he practically kicked me and my sister out of the office, he walked out and slammed the door on us and refused to talk to us.

He didn't want to do a revision stating he couldn't do it better. I asked for a refund even a small portion and he refused. I ended up paying for two surgeries, thanks to Dr. DeMars. All he cares about is money and he does not even do the job right.

I met with two other groups before meeting with DeMars, and was discouraged along the way by companies and physicians who were eager to schedule me the same day or within the week, run my credit and approve me, and/or want to take my money before I was ready or properly informed. DeMars and his team were not of that nature. Setting up the appointment, and meeting with the team was easy.

A simple phone call was all it took. The front desk staff were great, the nurses were kind, and the doctor was seen swiftly. I paid the consultation fee (one of the things, I found, that made a difference. A clinic with a "free consultation" is going to charge higher on the surgery itself, so beware of that). DeMars was knowledgable about his craft, and debriefed me on his background.

He also was clear to indicate what the results would be, and with my age (25), he told me that it would be wise to think long and hard if this was something I really wanted with my budget. The surgery was great, and the team that did it was incredible. I had a lipectomy of the breasts, the abdomen, and the flank (hip/love handle area). DeMars was kind and worked with me prior to surgery so we were clear on what would be done and how.

His anesthesiologist was funny and kind as he prepped me before surgery. The next thing you knew, I woke up. I'm still healing. The team checked in with me. They made sure I was doing well, that I did what I needed to along the way. I'm overall very pleased with how this clinic did their work, and the price tag associated. Like I mentioned, paying for doctor's time is worth it, because they'll be candid with you just like DeMars was. I'd do it the same way, any day. So give Dr. DeMars a shot. He is a standup doc, a straight-shooter, and a good man to do business with.

Dr. DeMars is fantastic he's a very sincere and humbled dr, I can't say that about most people in his profession. When I first met him he made me feel so comfortable as though I were speaking with an older wiser relative, that I know and trust. Every time we spoke he used powerful statements that made me trust and feel confident in choosing him as my surgeon.

He made himself 100% available to me for any questions or concerns that may arise. Dr. DeMars and his entire staff made me feel special everytime I walked into the office, if you choose him you won't be let down!

Dr. Demars was fantastic to me start to finish! He was thorough and listened to what I wanted and made it happen! I went from a B cup to a fantastic, sexy and beautiful D cup! I couldn't be happier I'm 10 weeks post op and feel so much more confident than I ever have before! My clothes fit better and I feel like I'm in the body I should of been born with! Thank you Dr. Demar and his wonderful staff!

After extensive weight loss and consultations with 3 doctors I chose to have my work done with Dr. DeMars. Everything was fully explained to me and a date was scheduled leaving me lots of time for recovery. I had a full circumferential tummy tuck and breast reduction with removal and moving of the nipples for the best results. The surgery was the longest they had performed they told me because of the extent of the work done.

The road to recovery was a long and tough one but it is still one of the best decisions I have ever made for my health and happiness. I would do it again and do have future plans to have other work done and will be returning to Dr. DeMars. I had considered going out of the country for the work and am so glad that I did not. Saving a couple of thousand bucks is definitely not worth it for things that may come up. I have already recommended him to friends and am extremely happy with my results about 2 years ago now.

Had a Quicklift done by Dr. Demars. I have to say I am astonished at the results. It was all I had hoped for and worth every penny. Dr. DeMars is a very personable sweet and kindly man, and I felt totally comfortable under his care. He was very meticulous, very careful, the stitches almost invisible and microscopic. 2 weeks later I'm back at the gym (being careful!) with almost no brusing left.

Nobody can tell I had a facelift. I look totally myself, but AT LEAST 10 years younger. His staff, Tish, Lisa, and Chelsea were great too. Already figuring what I want to do next!

Always a good experience! I have had 3 different procedures done at this office. Everyone I was in contact with was so pleasant and helpful, it was the first time I did NOT get sick after anesthesia, the anesthesiologists were great! I totally recommend Dr DeMars he is very skilled and has beautiful results, my augment looks completely natural, no complaints!

Don't go to this office All what they care about is money. I scheduled a consultation and I was 10 minutes late Lisa called me and left me a very rude voice massages telling me that I should of canceled my appointment and made room for other patients to be seen. She made me feel like I'm just a dollar sign not a patient. I ended up canceling my appointment and went somewhere else because before I even stepped a foot in this office I started dealing with a bad attitude and very unprofessional treatment. I highly recommends patient to look for a better caring office then this one.

Nine years ago I had a rhinoplasty done by Dr. DeMars and couldn't be happier with the results! Dr. DeMars does amazing work and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a cosmetic surgeon in the NW. During our consultation I mentioned that I wanted a slightly narrower, more refined nose although I stressed that I wanted it to still look like "my" nose (aka no "Beverly Hills" super skinny nose).

I had a bump in the bridge, a rounded tip, and felt like it was a little wide for my face. I felt like he took my comments with great consideration and explained in depth the procedure, the recovery, and the realistic results of the operation. The thing I liked best was that he wasn't trying to sell me on his skills or additional work. Going into the procedure I felt excited and nervous, but confident that I made a great choice with Dr. DeMars!

Because I had the width of my nose narrowed (which involved breaking the side bones and moving them in) I had about a 2 week recovery before I could go back to work due to bruising and swelling. After the first month I would say 80% of the swelling had gone down but I noticed subtle changes for about a year, which I expected due to the in-depth discussion I had with Dr. DeMars regarding the recovery. I would confidently recommend him to anyone looking for a cosmetic surgeon.

Dr DeMars did my breast augmentation back in 2002. He did a fabulous job. They look so natural and still do. No one can tell I have had implants. After 10 years my breast still looks fantastic. He and his staff were very educated about this procedure, as well as other cosmetic surgeries. They are a very caring clinic. I highly recommend anyone to go to him for any of their comestic needs.

Honestly, I am so extremely satisfied with Dr. Demars, his work, and his staff. Everyone that I talked to during the process was phenomenal and so genuinely nice. Very educated staff, and able to answer any questions, no matter how silly it might be. I don't even have any constructive criticism. They were all just that rad. I would recommend anyone I knew who was curious/interested in cosmetic surgery to check Dr. Demars' clinic first.

I have many good things to say about my surgery/visit (and one bad thing) but first I will say the good things! I had a Breast Augmentation done by Dr. DeMars and it turned out fantastic! My new breasts are fuller, look as "real" as I requested and the healing process was not nearly as bad as I imagined or was told by some of my friends. His RN who attended to me was INCREDIBLE.

I am glad to have been under her care because she was top notch. Attentive, patient, everything you could ask for! Dr. DeMars was professional, took heed of my suggestions and listened. He was great too! I am very pleased with my over all experience. My only problem was the Anesthesiologist. I have tattoos and just because I have body art doesn't make me any less uncomfortable with large needles.

It makes me queasy but he didn't seem to understand. He commented: "With all those tattoos you shouldn't be afraid of needles. Doesn't make sense if you ask me" Not even joking or friendly, he was condescending and rude. I gave an example of feeling similar to when I have had my blood drawn which he interrupted me by saying: "I am not drawing your blood, I am giving you anesthetic, this will put you under for surgery, there's a difference" Total attitude problem!

Maybe you should keep your unprofessional opinions to yourself next time you jerk. I was feeling sick to my stomach, anxious about surgery and was pretty angry to have had someone talk to me like I was an idiot. Especially when I knew he was getting a nice chunk of those surgery fees I paid! All in all, the surgery was a success, I am healthy and I love the results.
