I recently saw Dr. Dinelli Monson for my annual eye checkup, importantly needed to assess any changing conditions of of my age-related macular degeneration. As usual I was greeted politely and in a friendly manner by staff, and directed within a very few minutes into an exam room for a host of related tests performed by staff. Soon afterward, Dr Monson came in to fill me in on all the details of their tests and assess the condition of my eyes.

The office was immaculate, the staff was professional, friendly and courteous, and Dr Monson is always knowledgeable, professional, very friendly and informative. It is always a pleasure to have her office examine my eyes.

Something bad is going on here. I was called twice by them after I made my appointment and told that they were not in-network for me. I re-checked each time to verify coverage here. Either they have some staff needing better training or they only want 'full meal deal' patient--who will buy their glasses and contacts their as well? Either way, I was treated badly, and cancelled my appointment after all. Adios--I'm happy to take my business elsewhere. Wish I hadn't have wasted my time here.

I do not recommend this doctor for anything beyond perhaps routine eye care. If you're injured or need a doctor with some degree of bedside manner, this isn't that doctor. Her staff seems to be fully aware of her shortcomings. They were embarrassed and apologized for her inappropriate behavior. The doctor herself did not apologize. We won't be crossing her threshold again.

I chose this practice based on a recommendation from coworkers. I had my appointment 3 weeks ago for my yearly exam and contacts. The contacts I received to try (I am trying to switch from Dailies to biweekly contacts) were completely wrong and made me unable to focus. I attempted to contact the office for three business days in a row but they were closed or the doctor was not in.

Finally I was able to reach someone and she promised to send me another pair. A week later I still had not received them despite almost daily inquiries. When I had the car next I went in person and was given more of the same pairs to try. They also made my vision blurry. I called again on Monday to update the Dr. I didn't hear back for an entire week.

I called again the following Monday and was told the Dr. hadn't gotten back to her. So it's been three weeks since my exam, I am out of contacts and stuck with my ill fitting and not accurate glasses. I hope other people have a better experience with this practice then I'm having; I wouldn't recommend them at this point. My husband went there before me and he is happy with his contact prescription, so maybe it's just me.
