Doctors Urgent Care - Victor A Wood DO

Took my 7 year old here because she was having a allergic reaction. They didn't want to give her a shot because she so young and it was mild which was fine. She said she'll call the steroid into Walmart. We waited a hr and a half at Walmart they never got the call! I called them and got the after hours service and gone hung up on twice! I even had Walmart call them cas my poor 7 year old little girl has swollen eyes and a rash all over her face and neck but they got a answering machine. Now we have to go to the ER. And to think I went there because I thought it would be faster.

First, This place tells you it costs $120 without insurance. (Our insurance is not yet active through work so this was our only option) then they charge you $149. Second you will only be seen by an Nurse Practitioner NOT A DOCTOR. My husbands vitals were taken and that's it and then told to go to an ER. So you will be charged to see a doctor but only be seen by a nurse and sent to another facility.

The lack of true medical care is this world is insulting. For how they treated and robbed my husband they should have their medical licenses revoked. At the end they want you to sign a liability waiver but then use liability as their excuse to not treat you. These are the worst physicians facility and nurses I've seen in all my years of being a medic.

We know exactly what is wrong with my husband he suffers from Chrons. All he needed was a prescription for Prednisone or a "Z pack". and his suffering would have ended within 12 hours. I repeat if you care for your life, your quality of care do NOT GO here! It is a waste of time! See your GP or go somewhere else. ps. If you question their care their reaction Is to call the police! no worries though we are going to the medical board, BBB and getting a lawyer. We did not sign the waiver form and will never!

Don't go to 'Doctors Urgent Care' in Saint Clairsville. They will waste your time and some of the staff are very unprofessional. I called medexpress and they told me that urgent care accepts insurance for annual physicals. First, I go in and stand in front of the receptionist desk and say "hello" and am ignored and am there for about 5 minutes without being greeted or attended to (there's 2 people right there not doing anything.urgent care right?) and I finally tap on the glass and get a mugged look and a stern "hello".

I exclaimed that I wanted an annual physical and they take my info yadda yadda yadda. I fill out the 4 forms and wait for about an hour and they were mostly interested in their lunch, no big deal I didn't care. Could've said hey, we're going on lunch it'll be about an hour wait, no problem. Finally get called back and get my stats taken and am told to wait in a room until the physician goes back to see me.

Wait for another 10 minutes and the receptionist comes back and says that they can't do my physical there because of a new policy and when asked about said policy and the changes, they were completely ignorant of the said policy. I then ask for Doctor/Owners contact info so I can speak upon this policy and gain further information as to A.) why it has changed so suddenly and B.) why his or her worker's are clueless as to what the policy official entails.

I'm met with a big 'huff and puff' action and an abrupt turnaround from the receptionist and she stomps off and says "take a seat" very rudely. Then, I can overhear the receptionist(s) in the back talking negatively over the fact that I asked for the Dr.'s info and overheard "why doesn't he just go to a primary care physician?". Nevertheless, very unprofessional and unhelpful.

I was nothing but kind and pleasant, but sometimes people are just ugly and you know what they say, "God doesn't like ugly." Anyways, I won't let it bother my day because then they'd win and I'm not a loser so yeah, that's my personal opinion on this establishment and I would recommend that all of my friends and family in the area go somewhere else. "Grr, Mondays "

Outstanding people, kind and professional. Very little wait time. Could not have been a better experience.

My son and I were there a couple days ago. Cough, runny nose, fever, the whole nine yards. The man suspected we had Covid and acted terrified. They only checked us for Covid and nothing else. Like RSV, or Bronchitis, or Pneumonia even. I recommend looking elsewhere.

I would give a full five stars because the man who saw me was amazing while I was having a full blown panic attack and I'm FINALLY getting the help I need after calling almost everyone including my PCP. But, as I was waiting for some paperwork I heard a woman ask, "what the hell was THAT?!" I looked around the corner and saw him speaking softly to a woman I'm not sure was the nurse practitioner. It was SUPER hard for me to come in let alone speak. I guess staff talking behind my back about my mental issues is better than no help at all here in Ohio.

Rude just to start off with. 2 people at the window 1 nice the other acted like I was a bother to her. I told my doctor sent me here. Gave them my doctors name and why I was here. I repeated the story again. Not being rude the lady with issues of working at the desk should never deal with the public. People come here with problems they don't need her to be a part of their problem. She was about 55 yr old some graying hair. If I get her name ill post it.

They literally just hang up on people when asked simple questions. My question? Would I need to schedule an appointment for a pre-employment drug screening. Three times in a row someone answered, spoke to me for a few seconds, listened to what I had to say, then hung up on me. The level of incompetence is hilarious

I strongly don't recommend going here. Went here one day before work with only two other people in the waiting room. I waited for almost 2 hours and had to leave. Came back the next day figuring it may have been just a bad day for them, nope! Didn't wait as long but still took awhile. Once I got back, the dr came in and didn't say much. She looked at my arm cause my skin was irritated, asked if I'd be okay with a shot and never even asked me questions or gave me a chance to ask what would cause it. Then I asked for my prescription to be sent to a certain pharmacy. guess what? They sent it to the WRONG ONE. Don't waste your time coming here.

Extremely rude, answering service on weekends also extremely rude. Everyone acted like talking to me was a burden. They were supposed to call me back about my long covid test results so I could get out of quarantine. If your waiting for a call back, dont hold your breath. I had worsened over the weekend and clearly had an sinus infection and call to see if they could call in some antibiotics because the mucus was bright green.

I got told I would have to come back in, but that they were closed, so I would have to wait 2 days for a medication I desperately needed. I called my family doc who had not seen me for this issue and had the antibiotics for the bright green infection I had within 30 mins. They are a complete money hungry joke, they rather that money then actually helping people. Just leave them sick and suffering.

Took 2 hours to be seen. 20 mins to print out an excuse. There was an empty lobby. The nurses spent an actual hour talking to each other before they actually treated me. The nurses here are more concerned with their personal problems than their patients. If you have any plans and you come here cancel them because just one visit will take up your whole day. Worse service! Urgent care should be renamed not-so-urgent care.

This is one big toxic clinic, shame on the doctors and managers here for having this abusive staff. The lady at the window is extremely condescending and sarcastic, she'll roll her eyes at any basic questions you may have, make you feel like dirt. She'll slam the window right on your face, even as you're still talking to her, only to badmouth you to her coworkers while you're still at the window.

The female doctor and nurses are not any different. They're in a horrible mood, they don't want you there, you're bothering them by coming in with your medical issues. They'll abuse you and talk to you horribly. Avoid Avoid Avoid.
