The accounting department of this hospital is an absolute joke. They could care less about your financial situation. Their Financial aid department offers no solutions to help anyone out and just send your to collections.

This is hands down one of the most caring hospitals I have ever been to! Jeremy was my phlebotomist & the man is truly AMAZING at his job not to mention he was gentle & actually was very thoughtful regarding my insufficient blood veins! I have nothing bad to say. Honestly the most thoughtful, kind & helpful staff ever!

The care I received from the ER staff was wonderful. Sheridan Memorial Hospital billing department is another story and very frustrating to deal with, no one picks up the phone or returns voicemails. You need notify your customers if your department is understaffed.

Had to go to the emergency room once but had to move and stay about 5 days in the pediatric unit with my son because he was so sick. Let me tell you, those nurses/staff in pediatric were absolutely wonderful! My son and I both felt so comfortable with them! Even all 3 pediatric doctors stopped in to check on him! The emergency room staff was NOT so friendly, especially the intake nurse in the front!

They are not good with kids. But the pediatric unit was phenomenal! The women's health clinic upstairs is also pretty great. Staff is friendly and nurses are always so comforting!

I had a planned surgery scheduled at this hospital. The nurses and the doctors I interacted with were excellent. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Ramsay, listened thoroughly to my concerns regarding pain control. He went through all of my options and gave me plenty of choices. The prep nurses, Taylor, Amanda, and Giesella, were phenomenal. Their friendly banter back and forth helped calm me down.

The surgery circulating nurse, Lisa, was also great. Dr. Capron and Dr. Scalva (who I didn't actually meet, but was present during my surgery) did a fantastic job during the surgery. The RNs and CNAs (Josie, Ashley, Jessica, Jackie, and Anita) that helped take care of me through the night were patient and understanding. The food service was good as well, and they make perfect smoothies there. I felt totally confident that I was in the best hands.

They should be using Hydroxychloroquin or Ivermectin to treat covid patients. Also if they would stop using the ineffective PCR test that can't tell the difference between covid and the flu that would probably help. They will have to stop using them by late fall anyway as they have been recalled.

I would like to express my gratitude and say " thank you " for the excellent care I received during my recent stay. All of people :( doctors, nurses, lab technicians, kitchen and cleaning staff) were prompt, courteous, personable, yet professional and showed genuine concern for health and recovery. I have asked God to bless each one of you. Best Regards

Until you have been in a life and death situation, you will not know the talent that they have at this hospital. Unfortunately I know firsthand how fortunate we are to have the doctors available to us here. The nursing staff is hot and cold. Some of the ICU nurses are like talking to a specialist. Others are awful, but hopefully the more skilled nurses will either teach them or flag them to someone higher up. Advocate for yourself. They will listen.

They do not care about the patients or community they serve. They tried to charge me for things they never did. Did not receive adequate care in the slightest. Had a bad burn on my hand. The doctor never asked what my range of motion or level of feeling was. This is not the first time or even the second or third time they have treated me and my family badly with sub par care and expected an astronomical amount in payment. what's even worse is other hospitals have also heard how awful they are. I could go on and on.

Just went for covid vaccine.more than pleasantly impressed by the entire staff, the logistics and the obvious care that was put into delivering this vaccine! We never waited in line, everyone was so friendly, kind and compassionate. We were treated like royalty and I doubt that even the Queen of England recieved better treatment than that given by the staff at SMH.thank you and bless you.
