All staff were very professional and kind. Not a long wait in the waiting room or for the doctor. I was there in the middle of the night so I was able to get my first dose of medicine there and was sent with a script to be filled on the following day. Unfortunately I had issues with that medication but calling back and requesting a new one was a breeze. Thank you Newark Urgent Care!

Can't praise the staff at this Urgent Care enough. The two nurses that checked me in were super friendly and thorough with their initial check-in. Afterwards, Dr. Amanda came in to greet me and she was very attentive to my severe nervousness about why I was there. It was obvious she did everything she could to reduce my anxiety. She didn't rush me through like many urgent cares typically do, In fact she listened to my attempt to nervously share my history. Fortunately, she allowed me to FaceTime my wife during the entire visit and she was able to articulate my medical history to Dr. Amanda clearly.

I can't say enough about how great she was, and I'm so very thankful for having her as a Doctor on the hottest day of the year. If you're lucky enough to have her as your Doctor, I'm certain you'll be more than happy with her compassion and candor.

It's so disturbing to know that my daughter experienced such a lack of compassion, understanding and communication when visiting this facility on several occasions for her illness. It almost appears that some of these doctors are actually immune in demonstrating feelings for their sick patients. On top of it, one of the doctors was extremely rude and condescending to my daughter and not believing what she was telling her about the antibiotic she had been on 10 days prior.

The doctor finally realized she was truthful after looking more into her records. Honestly, Dr. Horowitz, you and your staff should seriously start looking at your online reviews and read carefully the comments from your patients, concerned parents and loved ones. There are many common denominators which clearly indicate there are major issues at Newark Urgent Care Center that need to be addressed.

Maybe your staff is fatigued and overworked because it's absolutely unacceptable, on so many levels for a doctor to prescribe the wrong medication. I called the facility to share my concerns and left word for the doctor to call me to discuss this matter and never heard from her. Your facility is not doing any justice to the very people in need or your medical services in the Newark community! It's such a shame! These are people- not numbers!

They took such amazing care of my 6 year old. She hurt her elbow at school. I made a same day appt with the clinic and we were in, x-ray'd, splinted and out in one hour. The doc and nurses were so kind. She even got a popsicle! Highly recommend.

Came in to see about getting paperwork for blood work and Dr. Patel was immediately rude to me when I had been very kind to every one. Told me she won't treat me and talked to me like I was just wasting her time and like I'm stupid. The PAs and other staff are awesome but all the Doctors I've been seen by here have all been horribly rude and unprofessional.

Bunch of sarcastic pricks work here that only care about them selves instead of working they just eat and joke around and look at patients like they are crazy trying to always manipulate authority upon themselves it's actually pathetic and god forbid you have a real medical issue unless they visually see it your screwed so if your a tough guy that naturally doesn't show your true pain don't go here these people rather watch you die before they care for you.this building is just a bunch of want to be trust fund babies in scrubs that picked on every day in school so try to take it out on society some one needs to step in and clean house

Refused to let my husband (medical shaparone) come with me because I have epilepsy and skitzo effective disorder and can't make decisions for myself and refused to send my covid and flu tests fir cultures also refused to my husband as (that guy) even after I told them he was my husband not (that guy) the triosh nurse and doctor are really rude and didn't show as if they cared in the slightest I had a panic attack and they wouldn't let my husband (medical shaparone) come back too my room with me they also got an attitude when I couldn't remember what medications I was on.

I fell because I didn't have the medical assistance I need because they refused to let my husband (medical shaparone) come back with me. Also violated HIPPA by giving out my personal information. They are really rude the whole time I was in there they were accusing me of faking my symptoms.

Really great service. We brought our toddler in with a minor injury at night. We were seen immediately and the Dr was fantastic. Treated our toddler like she was one of his own. Highly recommend.

Caring and professional staff! Highly recommend. Today we were turned away at 2 other urgent care centers closer to home before arriving to Newark(1 was operating on an appointment basis only with no appointments available for days, the other was rude and told us to "go to the ER") As a walk-in we were registered right away, told it would be about a 2 hour wait and to wait in our car.

About 1 1/2 hours later we got the call to come in. My daughter was seen promptly, properly diagnosed and even given the first dose of her medication needed for her ear infection. She woke up this morning with horrible ear pain that had her in tears. Everyone there was wonderful and showed that they truly care about their patients. Thank you so much for actually functioning as an urgent care center!

I can't say my experience as a patient but as a loved one of a patient they took good care of him. At first it was a 7 hour wait that turned into 3 hour wait which was worth it either way. The place was very clean and the staff reminded me of happy busy bumblebees the way they were communicating with each other. I hope we don't have to come here again any time soon but if we do need to then this is the first choice.

I went to Newark Urgent Care and was seen by JACK HOROWITZ, M.D. This man was so rude, uncaring, and unempathetic. He stated: "I don't know what you want me to tell you. It's a stubbed toe". Guys my big toe was dark red, swollen, throbbing, and my toe nail was black from the blood! My pain was an 8/10 and he offered me no pain medicine, no advice to ice it or elevate it at home. Nothing. Just negative results and a boot out the door. I've never had such a rude doctor.

I have always loved it here. This experience was much different. The receptionist who checked us in was less than kind. My daughter even said she was mean. The doc was short and impatient. I was shocked at how different this was from before. It also took longer than usual with not many patients in the waiting room. Not sure what changed.

This place was a God send! After having difficulty breathing for over a week from a respiratory infection and not being able to sleep, It started getting worst at night when laying down. I am the type of person that will wait it out till it gets better but only got worst. After checking in 3am and receiving a breathing treatment was able to breath normal again within 5 Min of treatment! Dr. P. Said it would last about 5 Hours and sure enough it started to wear off but she gave me a prescription which opens up my airway thank God!

The nurse and the doctor on duty that night are definitely fulfilling there calling! Your teamwork was awesome! They need to clone those 2 and put them in every urgent care! Thank you!

The doctor seen used profanity and racial comments in front of my son! Walked in the room, asked why we was being seen, explained it was for a school physical. the doctor then said "THIS IS BULLSHIT" Then stormed out the room, and came back in, insulted my parenting because I was getting a physical at 10pm at night, and commented I had all summer to get it done! Sports/School physicals on advertised I am not sure what the issue was.

The doctor has no reason to make the comments made, or to use profanity in front of a minor, along with her condescending racial remarks! I never had someone talk to me or my son the way this doctor did.

Wast of time when it comes to children and babies from my own experience 2 month a goy autistic disabled 2half year old son was badly bitten on his face by a fully grown husky dog. And Sharon the nurse told me that a fractured leg was worse than a dog bit witch my son was left wait 4 hours before he was seen his face was gushing with blood 4 big bite marks 4 hours after being there it still hadn't been cleaned to the be told by Sharon the nurse that they don't do stitches or anything like that at newark hospital. knowing that my son needed stiches fro.

The start it needed clean etc. I them had to put him back in the car an take him up to QMC where I was told they should have sent us straight up to QMC not 4 hours later plus the drive up there witch then there was no space for my son to have stiches till the next day still hadn't been cleaned as he is autistic and doesn't like people near him he went 25 hours before it got cleaned and then put to sleep to have it stiched.

And I was in there to day as my 10 month old banged his head getting a big lump so I took him in 5 half hours later we was still waiting to be seen people who came in after me was being seen before us the short bobbed brown hairs receptionist who works there most days said sorry but you have to wait. we had 5 half hours she said that others was more important.

I said well I don't want to keep my son in here when a mother and her son had come in to the hospital and the boy had covid symptoms. coughing really bad over heating etc. An the mother said to someone he's got covid symptoms. the receptionist went over an wisperd did you say your son has covid symptoms the mother said yes I told then on the phone. she went off and didn't do anything my son was in that hospital 11 months old.

And another little baby and children. Who haven't had the jab or wear a face mask! So newark hospital staff need a head wabble. child abuse an I'm gunna make sure all your faces and names are none for what you have but my boys through everything we have come to your hospital. If I or my sons catch covid from this selfish beep beep** I'm telling you now I'll make sure they get it as they didn't inform anyone about the little boy my son was left still not seen after bashing his head and my autistic disabled son was left 24 hours due to them believing a fractured leg on a woman was worse than a fully grown husky bit to a 2 half your old face and neck. I don't care what people have to say they abuse my sons and everyone with covid In that hospital so I hope they get it and don't recover

I go here all the time and usually the doctors are so nice. well today i was unlucky enough to have dr SEYEDMEHDI JADALI- MD. He was the rudest medical professional i've ever dealt with. He asked me if i was vaccinated and i said no (because i've had colds left and right and was refused two times due to not being fully back to normal at the time of the appointment).

His entire attitude changed and he was like? WHAT are you waaait forrrr? Meanwhile i'm running a 100.00 F and in tears and he shows ZERO empathy. But i told him anyway since he was rude enough to act like that why i hadn't gotten the chance yet to be vaxxed. Then i told him that for a doctor he was the least empathetic person i've ever dealt with, he was so chipper and said. Thank you! So disappointed, this is the only place nearby that does rapid tests so unfortunately i might be back.

This urgent care is very well run. I am a student and have been here a few times this past year (mainly covid related since they have rapid tests). It's unpredictable as far as wait time but they generally get you to see a doctor within the hour. During my last visit, I was taken care of by Dr. Blacklock and he was incredibly reassuring and professional. If you go there, ask for him!

The staff here are incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. They were able to take care of me and I feel they went the extra mile. They asked me questions to ensure my health and safety to a point it was clear they care about their patients. If I'm ever in need an urgent care again, I wouldn't hesitate to come here. Thank you, Newark Urgent Care.

Stay far, far away. Got misdiagnosed, came back in for a 're-evaluation' (which the Administrator told me to do over the phone) and.got yelled at by some dude? The 'medical director' is an unreal asshole - actively chooses to fight with people rather than treat them like human beings. Maybe the dude just had a bad night, but it seemed to me that he was trying to pick a fight with me rather than be useful in any way at all. Real childish stuff. Seems that the culture around this company allows for that kind of conduct. No redeeming qualities. Take your business elsewhere.

Some of the worst care I've ever gotten. Granted, I should've gone straight to the hospital but even so, the doctor was asking me questions, condescendingly, as if I was lying to her. She deeply examined my red nose-not even considering that I told her I just have dry skin. She thought that the redness of my face might be a sign of a stroke.

She was so uncomfortable and weird and the whole time, I just wanted to get out of there. I ended up going to the hospital-Christiana- and surprisingly, got some pretty solid care. The next couple of days, the urgent care center called me about four different times to see how I was doing. my assumption is that they realized how terrible of a job they did with me and thus, calling to reassure them that I was okay-despite their terrbile care. Wanna be doctors who actually don't care.

Perfectly fine experience considering I just dropped a 200+ pound table on my foot Anyway, super clean, Dr. not so bad but bed side manner could definitely improve. Nurse was super sweet. Small town vibe, in & out in less than an hour on a summer Sunday evening is a dream! Thanks to all & no broken bones!

Took us a half hour to be seen. The rooms were clean. Nurse and Doctor were nice. Found out my kid has the flu though(but not their fault)

Doctor wildly misdiagnosed my boyfriend. He came in with an infection on his wrist and they said he had scabies! Caused total panic in our house and we threw out most of the bedding and each spent over $40 on a one time ointment. The next day my boyfriend went to a certified dermatologist in Delaware and the doctor there said it was absolutely NOT scabies and it was an absurd diagnosis.

It was folliculitis which is basically ingrown hairs. Although I am ecstatic it was not scabies I am still angry that it was such a poor diagnosis that caused us panic, anxiety, and to waste money. Doctor was nice though.

I came to Newark Urgent Care in the afternoon on a weekday to seek assistance with a non-emergency medical issue. I was checked in quickly, a nurse immediately called me up, and after providing my history and giving diagnostics it was less than a five minute wait for the doctor to arrive. The facilities are not the most attractive, but my visit went quickly and I was impressed with the quality of service.
