Most excellent care and service. Saturday morning visit. The PA took care of me quickly to ease the eye pain (Chase). Not sure where these others find faults with them being rude.

The ER receptionist was sweet and kind although very hard to hear her through the shield on top of the desk area. Triage was great and that is where the positive ends. Once in the exam area the doctor stood back maybe 4 to 5 feet from me the entire visit. I was there because I could not put any weight on my knee. I am scheduled for knee replacement but had not experienced pain like I had and I was concerned.

The doctor never came close enough to look at me knee let alone exam it and with no exam, no x-ray was done. The nurse, who was covered in animal hair put me in a knee immobilizer, which was a huge challenge for her. The immobilizer/brace caused me more pain, it came off as soon as I reached our car. From the very beginning I made it very clear I did not want pain medication, they could tell by my records that I do not use prescription pain meds, that can not be used as an excuse for not even looking at my knee. I am very disappointed in the treatment I received or I should say lack of treatment I received.

Exaggerations aside, I'd rather bleed out than even glance at that hospital. The "people" that work there are the most ignorant, rudest, and meanest people you can come across. They treat their patients like they are feral animals, when in retrospect the employees are the animals. You'll find that the building is also a complete labyrinth, granted I think that part of that might be on purpose.

I've been there many times and I still can't find my way out. What you'll also notice is that the employees have a tendency to be extremely sensitive and hold a grudge. These guys will remember something you said that hurt their feelings months prior and still be hurt and not get over it. Another problem, how and why does it take so long for blood to be scanned?

There will be only 3 other patients and it will take three hours for blood results to come through! It's madness. Worst hospital, place, and building I've EVER been to in my whole entire life. 1 out of 5 stars, if I could rate it less, I would.

I have excellent experience with the nurses and doctors at Mount Nittany Medical center over the last 35 years. I never had a problem and treated very well. In 2006, my life was saved. Thank you all for your care until now.

Still hiding under the veil of COVID to keep family members out. Don't trust that your loved ones are receiving proper care when no one is there to watch. When we have gone in his urine bag is so full it's about to back up into the tubing. He's so weak he can't feed himself so his food trays come and go with no help from staff. Gene, the night nurse on PCU, threatened to use narcan on my brother on 3 separate times if he didn't keep his mask on.

I'm a nurse and I'm telling you that if they are limiting your access to a family member and there's only 3 COVID patients in the entire system they are using it as an excuse to not have family see what they are doing.

Saved my life literally. Did everything they could to make my care amazing. Warm blankets and amazing women and men that care about your comfort. Anesthesia team is amazing, woman made me feel like I was her daughter and I wish I got her name. I will forever be grateful to these professionals

These night dr are a joke well the one I have tonight. I have crohns, neuropathy, diabetes, which all cause pain in my left side. But I'm also here due to fluid build up and was having trouble peeing. Plus few other things go on. The dr acts like addict I been getting narco 5 with the Tylenol well it not helping so he like try Tylenol what Tylenol going to do if narco don't help so I'm going discharge myself in am and go back down to upmc for you shadyside they are so wonderful.

I can see why so many people say not go mount Nittany anymore. The nurses are excellent and caring. I love the day dr too she good too and mount Nittany don't do anything they'll say get a hold of whoever but never do anything they'll say call advocate but they are hired by them and listen to their boss. Every test I have and what I say is always always proven I don't lie.

Plus I get in patient portal check my blood work and that they'll be like it okay then when I look at my medical records on my test it shows different. So everyone check your patient portals. As soon as my daughter up I'm discharging myself

Unprofessional. A nurse took me back for blood draw and was having a hard time sticking me. She half stuck me and continued to jam the IV port around and I continued to tell her it hurt and was uncomfortable. She got very irritated. Her response, "can I just do my job". Again still hurt so I told her and her response, "seriously, I'm not even touching you.

Do you want me to draw blood or not". I said no. So she told me to get out and go back to the waiting room. Also yanking the IV port out and sending me on my way with blood down my arm an no band aid.

Arrived for my scheduled 7:00 AM appointment and was greeted with a darkened room behind a locked waiting room door. Was able to locate a receptionist in another department who told me to just wait by the door and when someone arrived they would assist. Returned to waiting room and now the door was unlocked! Unfortunately there was no one there and the room was still dark.

After waiting 15 minutes beyond my scheduled appointment time I left. 30 minutes later I received a phone call informing me that I had missed my appointment and that I could now be placed on a waiting list if I would like to reschedule. Glad it wasn't an emergency.

I've never had a problem or bad experience at Mount Nittany Medical Center. The nurses and doctors are professional. I was hospitalized in September. I had a wonderful view of black pipes and the lift off and landing of the lifeflight helicopter. God Bless those pilots.
