Services
Dr. Oakley received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Florida Southern College. She graduated from medical school at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She completed a three year Family Practice residency at Florida Hospital. During her residency, she participated in a Medical Mission Trip to the Dominic Republic, providing free pap smears and medical exams to indigent patients. Since opening the practice in 2002, she has had additional training in cosmetic procedures, including Botox and dermal fillers.
BOTOX Cosmetic is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in people 18 to 65 years of age for a short period of time (temporary). BOTOX Cosmetic may cause serious side effects that can be life threatening.
Botox is a purified protein. It is a nonsurgical, physician administered treatment. Botox cosmetic works by blocking nerve impulses, which reduces the movement of those muscles. The skin smoothes out and moderate to severe frown lines fade. Patients with neurological disorders such as ALS, Myasthenia Gravis, or Lambert-Eaton syndrome may be at increased risk of serious side effects.

I told my grandmother this place was great. Biggest mistake of my life. She was given pain pills instead of testing what was wrong. When she moved to another state new doctor tested her and found cancer. Would never recommend this place.

I've been seeing dr Oakley for well over 9 years. She is amazing! Listens to your concerns and truly cares! Even after I moved out of Apopka to mount Dora I stayed with dr Oakley!

I would never recommend either of these doctors to my worst enemies! I actually even gave them a chance several times - thinking maybe it was an an off day. Elias is rude, arrogant and condescending. I would like to know if he graduated at the bottom of his class - because I would bet on that. He does not treat - he doesn't listen and refers you to other doctors because they are completely incompetent and know they would probably get sued for their lack of expertise.

I could go on and on with specifics - pulling on my torn rotator cuff to see if it was "popped out" - "just to be sure" when i insisted that I knew what it was ( reoccurring) - and no trauma. Elias kept asking me " are you sure you didn't fall down?" seriously? My brother in law also went to him at the beginning of liver cancer ( did not know) - because of the brilliant dr Oakley - he went untreated with " a pulled muscle in his side" for months and died 8 months later because it went to a stage 4.

Don't ever think they will call in a prescription for you for ANYTHING. They want your money - you have to come in and see them ( of course) READ ON FOR THE OTHER REVIEWS. DO NOT BELIEVE THE "BEST IN APOPKA" BS - This is the real deal - real people reviews. They should be run out of town.

Avoid at all cost. Called today for the second time, first time being a month ago to find out what was taking so long to reply to my new physicians request for release of medical records. No avail. Today, a rude young lady tells me they haven't received such request. When asked if they could reach out to my new Dr's office an attitude from hell came out of her. Puts me on hold, someone else gets on the phone with same type of attitude.

Staff acts just like Dr Ellis as well as Oakley. My ex was having issues and Oakley kept saying it is from drinking, thank God she moved and found a real Dr. After all, it wasn't the drinking but a medical condition. Go figure

I was very pleased with this doctors office at first and I made an appointment for my husband to become a patient. We had to cancel the appointment, I called outside of business hours to do so and was unable to reach anyone so I left a message. I called to try to reschedule an appointment for my husband and was told it's their policy to not accept patients after a no call no show.

I tried to offer to pay for the missed appointment even though I did call to cancel it and was told that they lose money when patients don't show up. I explained that I was very disappointed in the fact that people are human and had to cancel the appointment and it doesn't make me feel like a valued patient. I told her it's disappointing I have to change doctors to have my family at the one office. Dr. Oakleys response was it's unfortunate I feel that way, thank you for my input and again, they lose money. So it's not about the patient it's about the money. Based on the other reviews I'm seeing and this conversation, it seems we dodged a bullet.

I have been seeing Dr. Elias for about 15 years and my wife has also seen Dr. Oakley for many years. I have also referred several family members and friends to this practice. I have always found both the doctors and his staff to be thoroughly friendly and professional. Dr. Elias definitely listens to me, which I value almost as much as his medical knowledge.

I am very surprised at the negative comments I have seen here. This is a well-established practice with good professional relationships with other physicians and hospitals in the Apopka area, and I have always recieved appropriate referrals to a very good network of specialists, if needed. They also understand that every patient's time is valuable and put a priority on trying to keep the wait times as short as possible.

On the rare occaision that I've had to wait a little longer, the doctor himself apologizes and it is always because another patient required more time than expected. Because I would want the same treatment if I had a more complex issue, I feel this is very understandable and commendable. I never feel like I'm being rushed because they need to "catch up". I would without hesitation recommend Dr. Elias and Oakley as excellent choices for family physicians in the Central Florida area.

My first appointment today with Dr. Oakley was so natural. She was very welcoming and friendly! This was my first visit to a doctor's office (ever or as an adult) I can tell she is going to take really good care of me. I recommend her!

Doctor Elias is very callous. He needs to work on his bedside manner. When I came in I told him I had just found out my mother was diagnosed with cancer and hour before my appointment and he never even said I'm sorry to hear that but rather stared at his Computer. Also when I asked the side effect of some medication that he wanted me to take he said "listen if you don't take it you could die if you do take it it will help you." He never get tell me the side effects of the medication he was prescribing. I left their practice and would never go back.

I have no words for the horrible experience me and my spouse had here. I rarely review establishments - let alone a doctor's office, but wow. Dr. Elias is one of the most unprofessional doctor's I have actually met. He makes no eye contact and really just wants you in and out with a tab to pay for. My spouse had a simple headache and he was so condescending when telling him it was sleep apnea and diagnosed him immediately with anxiety.

He did not make any eye contact and had his back toward him while my spouse told him everything that was wrong. No bed side manners at all, I don't know where he went to school because it's almost like he certified himself. Very callous. Super impatient. And simply put he was NOT listening. He rushes you into answering his questions and just dosent seem to care.

We now have to look for another physician, wasting time and money because "doctor's" cannot simply do thier job in assisting and assuring the patients health and we'll being. But I guess that's the sustem. Not worth the buck at all. Not coming back for follow up. Please do your research thoroughly first.

Dr Elias office is absolutely fantastic. Everyone in the office is nice and always have a smile. They are quick to get us in if we need to come in right away & we have never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes before being seen. Dr. Elias always listens to my concerns & also explains himself so that I understand. Both myself & my husband are seen by Dr. Elias and have been with the office for about 2 years and have never had any issues with them. We highly recommend Dr. Elias office.
