From Our Website
Our compassionate, family-centered pediatricians have dedicated their careers to child-focused health care. Our mission is to help children reach their highest potential by working with parents to promote and maintain their child's physical and emotional well-being, from birth through the college years. At DrumHill Pediatrics, we believe that accessibility, understanding and comfort are the cornerstones for exceptional pediatric medical care. To achieve this goal, we offer a small practice where our pediatricians will see your child at every office visit and are available on-call for urgent care 24 hours every day.
For patients who require specialized pediatric care, we are fortunate to have Tufts Subspecialty Pediatrics next door to our office for consultation. Well-child examinations are essential for monitoring your child's health, growth and development. We will perform a complete physical examination, and discuss with you any issues pertaining to your child's nutritional needs, sleep patterns, school progress or other concerns regarding your child's health. We will also administer the appropriate immunizations for your child's age.
At DrumHill Pediatrics our team consists of experienced, compassionate board certified pediatricians and knowledgeable, nurturing staff members who strive to treat each and every patient as we would want our own children to be treated. All of our pediatricians are highly educated professionals who have undergone rigorous academic and clinical training in pediatrics. We strive to maintain the highest level of expertise through continuing education, in order to provide the most up-to-date care for the young patients we are privileged to serve.
Our team of professionals and staff believe that informed patients are better equipped to make decisions regarding their child's health and wellbeing. For your personal use, we have created an extensive patient library covering an array of educational topics, which can be found on the side of each page. Browse through these diagnoses and treatments to learn more about topics of interest to you. A: Yes, in fact we strongly encourage parents-to-be to visit our office for a prenatal appointment. This is a great way to get acquainted with our office and our doctors. During this visit, we will answer any questions that you have about our practice or your new child. Visit our expectant parent's page for more information. A: Your child should not only see the pediatrician for an illness. It is also important to schedule well-child-care exams regularly, beginning in infancy. Also called well-care visits or checkups, these routine examinations provide the best opportunity for the doctor to observe the progress of your child's physical and mental growth and development; to counsel and teach parents; to detect problems through screening tests; to provide immunizations, and to get to know one another.
