Duffy team members offer those in our care the trust, dignity, respect, and ongoing support that they need to regain hope and recover. Duffy Health Center is a patient-centered medical home - the patient is an important part of the care team.
Duffy staff members' days are full of interactions with our patients - some positive, some challenging. Often, they don't realize how much of an impact their small acts of compassion and kindness have on the patients and clients we serve. Luckily, Case Manager Cathy Finn collects stories from around Duffy and shares them with staff.

So very uncaring, not professional and literally NEVER call you back. I'm sure if I was an addict I'd be treated better. I'm really disappointed in this place. I had to call 3 times today and instead of offering to help me or find a solution they say "just go to urgent care" soooo caring of them. F this place

I've been going to Duffy Health Center of 11 years and have always been treated with respect and decency. I've always left there feeling as if my life matters. Thank You All at Duffy Health Center for all you've done, and all you continue to do for, not only me but, the entire community.

Been a patient here for 10 years, they seem to run in up & down cycles, with right now being the deepest down cycle I've witnessed. They are a non-profit so you can only expect so much, but the incompetence and complete unwillingness to address their own shortcomings has become a challenge to do worse each day than they did the day before. If you don't have any other choice, then expect to be treated like you don't have any other choice. If you do have other options, well, you probably wouldn't be reading this now anyway

I have been going to Duffy for 3 years now and they are always on point with me. Networking and advocating to get medical insurance right away. Same day I had the appt to help me full out paperwork moving from another state under emergency conditions, I walked out of there same day with a primary, a specialist, and full health insurance in effect.

I am not to sure what is going on at Duffy Center, but i have been sleeping in my car and i needed help with housing, and i asked if i could take a shower there, which they only have showers 2 days a week Tuesday or Friday, they told me i can only take a shower one day a week, they just renovated the shower area not so long ago. I am not to sure why they would treat people this way?

When i took the shower i had to wait 1/2 an hour, then they said i had 20 minutes, i complained on an email to Heidi Nelson, the director and she gave it to someone else and she gave it to someone else, who told me to come in to talk then i get there and some woman named Nellie, Case worker, tells me she's busy with another client, that i can see the case manager for the day. My God.!

Can attest to aforementioned apathetic indifference on the part of Dr. Field. Don't expect your feedback to be taken seriously, or heard at all. The rest of the staff seem concerned and genuine, but I do not feel as though dr. Field had much concern for my ultimate well-being, as most of my concerns weren't taken to heart, serious medication side-effects were dismissed as aspects of my "sensitivity", and my attempts to advocate for myself were shut down with hostile condescension.

If you find yourself in the same situation, you get screwed because they won't let you change your provider, and everything is in-house at the clinic. I no longer feel secure at duffy.

If I could put negative for this place I would. In considerate staff nurse practitioners don't have enough knowledge about many ailments and don't know how to read blood draw results. The most important thing to them is getting drug addicts "clean and sober" while people who have medical issues are not given proper care. Avoid this place unless you need to stop using because they've become a place predominantly for that purpose.

The staff at Duffy is great. They are thorough, compassionate and professional. The only negative is there are not enough of them causing long wait times for appointments and unless you are on point with advocating for yourself you will fast become lost in the bureaucracy. All in all my experiences have been positive. I wish they could clone themselves so they could help more people and not have to wait weeks or months for an appointment.
