I went to the hospital as a last resort. I sat there for 5 hours. I asked the nursing student for water, never got it. I asked the male nursing student questions he said he did not know he was just a student. I asked him to get my nurse-never came. Was never given a nurse call button till after I had been there 4 hours. Aide came in said I was being discharged so I could get dressed. I showed her I still had an IV line, she just left never came back. Discharge nurse had to remove everything. Those people really don't care if you live or die in their ER.

Was very fast getting admitted. There were so many people there to help at first it was overwhelming. On my second day they were short staffed so it was hard for them to get the IV's on time. Mine beeped for over a hour which is hard when your in the hospital sick. The nurses were all very very sweet and helpful. The only thing bad I would have to say is there are no private showers in each room.

You have to go to the end of the hallway to use a shower, which you have to drag all your clean clothes with you. That is the main reason I will not go back to East Liverpool City Hospital until they have a private shower in the rooms.

Thanks to Becca and Lyda for taking care of my son and I when we were there. His first time at the hospital and you went above and beyond to make sure that he was comfortable and felt safe and this is his picture he drew for you. I hope that you see it because he said you made him all better with your medicine!

I had to go for routine lab work. From the very friendly and kind gentleman at reception to Casey at registration to lab for bloodwork and then to Charlene in X-rays ALL the staff have been phenomenal! Thank you so much ladies and gentleman for making my trip to ELCH such a pleasant experience! Every person here has been so kind, so friendly and so professional. You are all awesome and I appreciate each and every one of you! Thank you for your exceptional service and for all you do! Melissa D.

I had my yearly mammogram yesterday on the brand new 3D/tomo mammogram unit. My "pain" was less and the images were outstanding. Terry and Kelly were amazing at explaining the new technology and whole process to me. So thankful we now have this amazing technology at our little hospital! I said it's a 10/10 for me.

My wife was very sick with food poisoning. The intake lady was very rude to us, my wife went to the rest room in the lobby so they took people ahead of her who came in after her. they put her in the hallway even though rooms were available. Then after sitting in the waiting room for almost 2 hours they left her sitting in a hallway without even speaking to her. she was severely dehydrated but they did not care.

There's alot of things that caused this bad service including covid. But in my opinion they might as well shut down this hospital. you would be better off going to an express care.
