It means a lot to not be rushed through appointments. Having extra time with my care provider was so critical, valuable and very much appreciated. Excellent, professional, empathetic and extremely thorough guidance and support. Highly recommend Kim Koontz, literally a life saver!

I have received treatment from my doctor and my son's doctor at EPPG for 25 years. I have moved to another state and hope my insurance will cover with a special concession but if not I will absolutely become a cash patient. I am thankful for all of the professional knowledge and for empathy from the staff. There are few who really understand mental health challenges.

Dr. Shah is a good psychiatrist but the office constantly doesn't get refills done in time and the nurses never answer for critical manners

Just called and talked with a woman who was extremely rude, very unprofessional. She told me she didn't know how to down load their patient history forms that I needed help with. I asked if someone else there could help me, she slammed the phone down in my face. Made me feel like she didn't like people.

This practice is terrible. Do not go here. Run the other direction. The Psychiatrists could care less about you or your mental health. This place has horrible customer service. The receptionist are rude and this is the worst place to go if you are struggling with your mental health. I wish I could put 0 stars.

Refused to allow me to make appointment for my daughter who was an established patient stating HIPPA violation when that is inaccurate. Appointments are allowed just not share information. Then refused to see my daughter because she was in college in another state but daughter is resident of NC and was coming home for appointment. Provider, Valerie did not return phone calls. The appointment scheduler rude on the phone several times. This type of service is unacceptable when dealing with a young adult with mental health issues.

Absolutely go here before any of the Atrium/Novant psych factories, there's no comparison, and most of the office staff is fantastic. However, avoid Dr. Pelucio at all costs. I saw him for more than 10 years, had to ask to change doctors every few years to get him to care again, but the pandemic seems to have broken him. Bitter, smug, mean. I ended up paying out of pocket with my HSA to see a private practice. Good luck out there dodging bad psychiatrists!

For starters the intake process is horrible and customer service is extremely lacking. They want you to fill out a sea of paperwork just to have a conversation with someone to see if they are a good fit. That is an extremely daunting task. To whomever I just spoke with at the Latrobe location on 2/23 at 10:30am.fix your attitude. How dare you hang up on someone because they have concerns about the intake process. Just because I said "Thank you I think I will be looking in another direction" does not warrant you slamming the phone on me. Flat our rude.

Ok. this is a lot, but think my experience will help the next person in my position. when i walked in the door, Dr. Pelucio tells me he thinks I have a personality disorder. This is about 2 mins after meeting him for the first time. This is the worst experience I've had with a Psychiatrist. IF YOU ARE STRUGGLING WITH MENTAL HEALTH, I'm begging you DO NOT see Dr. Pelucio.

My journey with Eastover Psych began on December 18, 2021. For some context, I have been struggling greatly with mental health for 4 years now. I have finally found a phenomenal therapist who has helped me immensely. After careful consideration, my therapist recommends Dr. Pelucio. At this point on December 18, I call Eastover Psych in Charlotte, NC and am told I can get in with Dr. Pelucio in 2 hours if I can fill my forms out in 20 mins or less.

I get my forms completed in about 10 mins and call back and Devon at the front desk says "I never said that, the earliest appointment for Dr. Pelucio is Jan 17". in my head i'm like what a bummer but no worries. Devon said to call back daily for an appointment to open up. That exactly what I did, since December 18, I called once to twice a day expressing how much I was struggling and how if anyone could let Dr. Pelucio I've been calling for a month straight Id greatly appreciate it.

I have called 69 times in the course of a month, just trying to get help. On Jan 17, due to the snow in Charlotte, NC, my appointment was cancelled (which is 100 percent reasonable, you can't control the weather) At this point it's over a month of struggling greatly and the people in the office don't seem to care at all. At this point I am told the EARLIEST Dr. Pelucio can fit me in is Feb 8.

Fast forward to today. I've been waiting for this appointment for months and I have never experienced someone so rude and seems to not care about the situation. The reason for this message is because if you are really struggling with mental health please stay as far away from EASTOVER PSYCH AND ESP DR. PELUCIO. In my opinion, he is not qualified to be a psychiatrist.

The last thing I'll say is, during our conversation he tells me "the reason my body is shaking is because i'm not able to talk" He said " since i wasn't in control of the conversation, my body can't handle it". Really messed up situation. please stay away

The staff is always helpful and friendly. The doctors are very knowledgeable and helpful in their explanations for the lay person.

Dr. Wallace charged my 20 year son $190 for a missed visit (first and only one). Apparently, it is up to each physician individually as to how much to charge for a missed visit--this is the full amount. Mind you, my son was in the middle of a mental health crisis (hence needing the services of a psychiatrist), so this seems egregious in my opinion.

I definitely get the need to recover some money for missed visits, and I would guess that in this field, the need is even greater than in some specialties. However, $190 is beyond ridiculous. It doesn't feel as if this doctor is rooting for my kid with this one.

Nikki is fantastic and I believe she runs the office so efficiently! With as many people that come go to this practice Ms. Nikki always knows you by name. She is wonderful! Covid has changed things dramatically for us all, but I am grateful that Dr. Pelicio is always willing to try new things in my treatment plan and I appreciate his kindness in listening to me to help me get to a place of peace.

Dr. Reddick is an exceptional physician. He is very attentive and response to any and all concerns or questions. He takes additional time to ensure that my session was the most effective it could be. He goes over and beyond the standard.

This clinic was rapid in getting me in to be seen. The only issue I had is when you are honest with a "DR" and they don't provide what you need due to current health conditions. The other alternatives that they have offered have failed in the past. It fell on deaf ears and I left in the same, if not worse condition than I showed up in. I know what has worked for me but this particular guy thinks he knows what's best. Just uncaring about your needs. Everything I told him was in one ear and out the other. Poor poor poor, would not recommend!

I received psychiatric care from this facility for over 8 years and am upset I stayed so long. I was misdiagnosed at the age of 15 and despite none of the medications working I was never reassessed. When I brought this up I was referred to two providers outside of the practice, both of whom were not accepting new clients. After finally finding a new psychiatrist who reassessed me I learned that I was in fact misdiagnosed and the medications I had been put on over the years had been causing my condition to get worse.

I called the office multiple times to speak to a supervisor to share my experiences and hopefully prevent this type if thing from happening to other patients, but I was never called back. I left multiple voicemails and nothing. I did not want to leave a review because it isn't really google's business but they have given me no choice.

Have been going here for.9 or so years now? Love my counselor (Tiffany) and my psychiatrist (Valerie) and love the upfront staff. They're all working so hard even with the increased demand and craziness that has been going on. They've saved my life more then once and I am forever grateful!

Great medical office, wonderful and warm experience from start to finish. Appreciate Dr. Michael Swaney taking time to go over my son's diagnosis clearly and treatment options. I already see positive changes. Was referred over by my doctor and can see why. Highly recommended. Great experience I was helped when I checked in. The staff and Dr. Pelucio were all very friendly and helpful.

I especially loved how Dr. Pelucio really took his time to explain my conditions with me as well as my treatment options. I had a great visit and the doctor's demeanor has really put me at ease. Highly recommended.
