Currently waiting for my appointment with Dr. Blodgett. I have been waiting for an hour. Asked if this was normal, was told yes, it is. Rediculous! Update: Negative 3 stars! April of 2022, am in for another appointment, because no other clinics in Lincoln. Have been sitting in the exam room for 50min. How at 8:30am could they be this behind. I believe they triple book the doctors. I will go out of town for a Dr. for any future needs. This place is awful.

I had an excellent experience with Eye Surgical Assoc. When I called to make an appointment, they were able to have an opthalmologist see me the very next day. When I arrived, they were very professional, took my information quickly and we're very courteous. I didn't have to wait in the waiting room for more than 10 minutes when I was called to go to the examination room for initial diagnosis.

I was prepared and had brought my list of medications with me. This sped up the time to enter it into their computer system. Dr. Chruscicki was very professional and did a very thorough examination of my eye. He told me what I needed to know and I scheduled a follow-up appointment for 3 weeks. The entire process took about an hour. I would definitely go back to them if I continue to have eye problems.

I took my dad here and it was a waste of our time. Our first visit we had to wait over an hour, just to make the surgery appointment and when I asked the lady how long more i had to wait, she rolled her eyes. The surgery didn't happened because they left me a voicemail and did not say the time of the appointment. Because we had lost track of the time, I tried calling them multiple times and they could not tell me the time of the appointment.

I spoke to 3 different people and no one knew what time it was. How are you going to remind your patients of their surgery and not know the time of the appointment? We called twice to reschedule and they kept telling us they would call us back but never did. Two weeks later Thomsen sent my dad a letter saying that he should seek the service of another ophthalmologist because he will no longer be his treating physician. Horrible service and communication!

I had been seen by Dr. Chruscicki for several appointments and eye injections. After an eye injection visit, I developed redness, blurred vision, and watery eye. I called to report, they said to use eye drops. I told them I Must be seen, I arrived at clinic at 4:00 pm. He was furious, he came in Looked in my eye and said corneal abrasion and left!

He was with me less than a minute! My husband was there, we were Shocked! I was very upset, angry and treated so poorly. Then he called the nurse to ask what I said. We LEFT, completely unsatisfied. Absolutely horrible bedside manner! I seen another Dr in group the next day who treated me for infection. Transfer my care to Truhlson Eye Institute in Omaha. This was several years ago, I was just going to let it go and move on, but now feel like it needs to be said!

With covid going around you'd think they would have procedures in place so that the virus doesn't spread. Like only allowing a certain amount of people in the facility or in the lobby at one time. Earlier in February the whole lobby was packed with people, every chair was occupied. Pretty sure everyone who got their eyes scanned placed their eyes and face into the same area that was not disinfected prior to using it.

Or held an object that was not cleaned before the next person used it. So many people come in and out through those doors that you're waiting 20 min just to be rushed to be seen by the doctor that talks to you for 5 minutes.

Wish I could give a negative number of stars. The office did not notify me for 2 weeks past when my insurance denied the first claim. Taking away my surgery date. After I spoke to my insurance company the RN there said nearly all the claims are denied the first time. I called SEVERAL times asking to speak with David Blodgette. he refused to call me or see me.

I explained to the scheduler that all that was needed was a peer to peer with Blodgette and the ins. co. still he refused. The scheduler even went so far as t tell me he has enough work and apparently did not need to do my surgery. I will NEVER go back and have already sent notice to the BBB. Don't waste your time with this clown.

For years I've wanted to do Lasik. I had heard good things about ESA. Dr. Rixen was knowledgeable and made me feel good about doing the surgery. His assistants were so friendly and full of information. I left knowing that I had made the right choice. I would recommend their office again and again! Thank you for giving me my sight back without glasses or contacts.

I just had my cataracts removed by Dr. Vince Sutton at Eye Surgical Assoc and I am so happy with the entire process all the people I encountered were friendly, patient, professional and helpful. I call Dr. Sutton my miracle doctor because of difference this surgery has made on my life. I was having a hard time seeing with my glasses on and had to stop driving a night, but now I can see without my glasses and the colors are so vivid its amazing! Thank You Dr. Sutton! I highly recommend Eye Surgical Assoc and Dr. Vince Sutton.

I have a question about my prescription and so I called them the receptionist transferred me to a nurse and she transfer me to a manager and they transferred me to a different nurse witch got me to the voicemail. So I left a voice mail about the question I have and I'm currently waiting for a call back witch I wont be expecting at all. They are great at doing the eye exam but when it comes to answering questions, looks like they need more work on that. Instead of transferring some one to 4 different people maybe transfer them once and to the correct person.

I had a stroke June 23 2020. My Neurologist prescribed a MRI. Because I had surgery for a detached retina by Dr Wood Bryan West required my records from Eye Surgical Associates. Bryan was given numerous excuses from Eye Surgical Associates on why my records were not available. The bottom line is no one there wanted to be bothered to look them up. I had a cat scan instead which is not as accurate as a MRI. Luckily my stroke was a TIA and I was discharged the next. If it had not be there may have been serious damage due to Eye Surgical Associates laziness and incompetence.

I truly wish there was a way to rate lower than just one star. In 2017/2018 I was referred to this organization for a cataract on my left eye. My first encounter was with one of the Sutton Brothers, (I don't remember which one) but after his rude condescending treatment I asked to see another doctor. I then saw Rixen, who did the actual surgery and the second surgery and he became equally rude and condescending.

I had a dialogue with their COO, who offered really no help whatsoever. As of this date I am still having considerable problems in the same eye, approximately two weeks ago I tried to reach out to the COO, with no contact from him whatsoever. I am so greatly disappointed in how this procedure worked out and greatly concerned that I'll now have to live with this ongoing deficiency in my left eye.

The one and only bright spot in that entire process was the dealings with their on-site doctor of optometry, she seemed very professional and very pleasant. I want to strongly suggest to anyone needing this process DO NOT go here. Take more time if you can and check more resources even if you have to go out of town to do so. I believe strongly you will be very glad that you did.

I have been going here for treatment of a detached retina, cataract, and glaucoma. The doctors are great. They get you in quickly if it is an emergency and with eyes there are a great deal of emergencies. It is packed all the time due to the fact that eye issues are just a part of age these days. Plan to wait but know that you are getting the best of the best.

Dr Greg and all of his staff have been fantastic! I have been seeing them for over ten years and they have been nothing but extremely professional.

I rushed to get there 15 minutes before my appointment, as they requested. My name was finally called 40 minutes after my actual appointment time. This was just for the patient intake with the nurse. After this I had to wait for each test I needed, and then wait for the doctor. By the time I got done, it was 4 hours later for what should have been less than an hour long appointment.

I went on a referral from my optometrist for something he cannot diagnose/treat but which he was pretty certain what it was (and should be able to be easily treated with steroids). The doctor he referred me to basically repeated the same tests I had done the day before, then said he couldn't handle it and referred me to a doctor an hour away (and I have to wait a month more with blurry vision to get in there).

While the doctor was nice, and I don't fault him for not being able to treat me, it was a total waste of my time and money to go here. They are heavily overbooking and don't seem to care about it.
