This is the worst emergency room I have ever had the misfortune of visiting, my husband's BP was through the roof and needed immediate care, 6 hours of sitting in the waiting area and not once did they do anything to bring it down, said they were going to but never happened, the next morning we had to rush my husband to the ER, we went to Cookville Regional hospital and they started immediately trying to bring his numbers down. Love your family and DO NOT go to Cumberland medical center ER that place is a joke

Labor and Delivery: I was 100% grateful for the nurses, doctors, and staff in L&D. They were compassionate, amazingly attentive, kind, friendly people. I appreciate everyone making sure me and baby were doing great the whole time.

This hospital is absolute garbage. My mother came in for chest pain and signs of a heart attack. They have her sitting in the lobby and for the past 4 hours have not done anything but run 2 test and draw blood 2 times. No results given from 1 set of test no information at all. They tell her they don't know. With what I have seen since we been here I'm shocked this hospital is still operating.

This place is beyond horrible. Update my mother did have a mild heart attack and they waited till the next day after she had left and went home to tell her that and to check in with her family dr. 7 hours waiting in lobby and they call her next day to tell her that. This place should be shut down bc of care. They are the worst hospital i have ever seen.

We went last night because I had pain from a UTI and infection, but when we got there, they quickly took us into the triage room and then sent me away with a urine cup and told me that they would have someone come get it. I held onto that urine cup for an hour before my fiance had to remind them. Someone finally came and took it but then they made us wait an additional three hours before deciding it was time to call it quits after watching other people leave.

It wasn't very busy that night, as there were only four groups of people there, and the nurses were very short and snippy towards other patients who kept requesting services because they were bound to a wheelchair. Please don't come here if you want to get treated quickly and efficiently

I was there through ER, never saw doctor. PA came out to tell me I had a bad sprain, which I had told them. 4 hours for nothing! Husband there today, he is still waiting and it's been 3 hours. He was brought in by ambulance. He did get a CT but what good does it do if no one looks at it and tells him what is happening. Second worse hospital I've ever seen and sadly I've seen too many.

Not a good place to go if you want to live. I took my mother in because she was having a stroke when I got there I want and told the check-in Clerk that my mother needed help and the check in clerk was very rude and got mad at me because she asked me what my mom date of birth and I could not remember at the time due to me being under stress because I was very worried about my mother and only had one thing on my mind and that's to get my mother help I eventually walked away and then they finally come running out side to get my mother from the car because she was not able to walk at the time after we got in side they called her back and some questions like normal during the time we were in the back answering questions she started having some problems choking and her tongue was extremely dry and they would not help her they just told her that she could not have anything to drink until the doctor says so after they were done with asking us questions they put us out in the lobby waiting room and we sit there until the next day.

We got to the ER around 11 PM at night and we waited until 4:30 in the morning the next day while she was throwing up and having a stroke in their Lobby and they're supposed to be an advanced primary stroke center but they did nothing help my mother at all we eventually left because she started feeling a little better we eventually got her into her primary doctor and they did some tests and thankfully everything was okay the stroke did not cause any damage did not damage her brain. All I can say is be careful and go to another hospital if you are able to.

"We will have your test results to determine if you have had a stroke very quickly" 5 hours later. still waiting. Only 4 people in the waiting room. The couple sitting next to us has been here for 17 hours. Getting one star was a gift. No

Despite great nurses and doctors the wait is horrible. My husband is in the ER since 12pm. It is now 9 pm and stills waiting on labs and results to be read to him by the doctor. They are understaffed and way too busy.

The ER staff was amazingly compassionate given how overworked and understaffed they are. This area is in vital need of another hospital. I live in Nashville and have never seen an ER as packed with people that looked and sounded like they were at death's door. It was awful. After reading these reviews, I can't believe the government hasn't intervened.

The staff - every one of them - was extremely attentive and thoughtful. Never once did we feel rushed, our every question was answered and every need was met. I'm forever grateful.

Yeah, 192 reviews and 2 star sounds about right. I sent my father there when he had covid. He slept in the waiting room, took 5 hours to get the Tylenol he requested and the nurses were very snippy. It took 12 hours to get a covid test result back. When I told the lady I got my covid results back in a 3rd world country in 30 minutes before my trip back to US, I was basically put on hold indefinitely. I understand that every hospital is busy due to pandemic but it takes zero skill and work force to be polite.
