Dr. Jennier Chen is very knowledgable and caring-she is a gem. I am 72 years old with lots of problem and has seen many health care professionals. I have found her to be epitome of care.

Might want to be clear with the hospital to NOT send your information to fake bill creditors. It's two years and I'm still getting fake medical bills from a company called EMBCC. Not sure if they sell patient information or did not anticipate me coming back with my insurance information the next day after visiting the ER

This is most horrible place you can find if you need any doctor help. If you like to work with people who badly speak any English very rude and super unprofessional this is right place to visit.

I went for an annual physical exam here. I got a large bill following routine bloodwork checking for everything that is covered under an annual physical. I had to go back and forth with calls to them and my insurance several times to convince them that I had not asked for "extra tests" and each of my tests were supposed to be covered. Although my bill was corrected eventually, it was a big waste of time and they weren't apologetic.

The best medical care I ever had. New hospital, up to the minute technology and secure premises. The Pharmacy staff is courteous and efficient. Professional atmosphere.

Preamble: all the 5 star reviews are because "Bruce lee was born here". What does that have to do with the quality of care and staff? The worst experience ever at a hospital. Mother in-law checked herself in because they speak Chinese and are located downtown. Doctors were extremely unprofessional, very pushy and recommended a kidney surgery that afterwards multiple second opinions (one from UCSF) suggested was not necessary. Got into an actual argument with a nurse when we asked for more transparency into the lab results because no one was communicating with the family on her status.

The doctor performing the surgery seemed apathetic to sharing the results of the surgery. I would absolutely NOT push this hospital upon my worst enemy, for even that is too cruel. 0/10 stars, this hospital should be evaluated by the BBB or the medical equivalent.

Let me be clear, the three stars are not a measurement of the quality of care you'll receive here. The hospital and staff overall do a wonderful job taking care of and treating their patients. The three stars are for the lack of vision this place has. Newish facilities but don't staff it fully. Refuses to change with the population around it. Unwillingness to make progressive changes to help the hospital grow. Things like becoming a teaching hospital and accepting students into their different departments like x-ray to help to build a more positive reputation with the next generation of health care workers.

I didn't even know this hospital existed until someone that worked there told me. They have to form a relationship with the Allied Health Science schools in the bay area to get more exposure. Better marketing to not just the Chinese population would go a long way.

Throughout the past 2 years - my mom visited the ER three times. Her last visit was on 7-11-17. During the 31-hour ordeal.the compassion and the quality of care that my mom received from the ER and 3rd floor nurses & doctors was extremely heartfelt. Due to our previous visits, we recognized all the nurses immediately.which created a humbling and serene atmosphere.

Not only did ER nurse Lana and RN Supervisor Nadia take care of my mom-they took care of me. My mom passed away peacefully. There was absolutely no pain or discomfort to speak of. I am so blessed and grateful to God for watching over my mom and my family during this most difficult time. Special thanks to nurse Yoko (3rd floor) for taking such delicate care of my mom during her final hours. We are forever grateful to the Chinese Hospital staff for their dedication to their professions Diane Shew and Family.
