EPS provides emergency services to the greater Phoenix area. Our partnerships with elite medical and business organizations allow us to provide superior patient care. A Magnet hospital, BUMCP (formerly Banner Good Samaritan) is located at 1111 E. McDowell Rd in central Phoenix and has been serving the area since 1911.
EPS physician, Ashley Gray, M.D., was honored to collectively help over 900 patients during the week-long journey. The team established a community medical clinic at a local church and saw patients with varying medical needs such as hypertension, chronic pain, heart failure, and acute needs over 2 days.

Horrible! Their billing procedures are ridiculous! Do not go here for Emergency Needs!

Absolutely horrible practice. Nobody answers the phone. Nobody returns voicemail messages. They send their billing to the Philippines. They force you to pay them threatening to ruin your credit report for years and sending it to collections. When you finally get the info from the insurance company that prove you did not owe them in the first place, they refuse to issue a refund. They keep sending you to the Philippines call center who tell you they will not process the refund because EPS has not authorized it.

Terrible company, terrible customer service they would not help me and tell me what my original debt is for they ended up hanging up the phone on me

Zero stars. Paid through HSA account and refused payments and then sent account to collections claiming no payments were sent. Refused to remove account from negative standing on credit report despite being paid prior to being sent to collections. ILLEGAL PRACTICES.

Like many others, I never received a bill and it was sent directly to collections. Turns out they had never submitted to insurance. They did and insurance paid the bill. However, they never let the collections agency know so I am still in collections on a bill that has already been paid. It is ridiculous and illegal.

Used Banner University PHX for a real surgical emergency. Turns out Banner outsources their "Emergency" Dr's through this company. I almost died was in the hospital for 7 days an released. Within 10 days I received a call from this company demanding full payment even though I only received the half the bill statement. $154. Banner University PHX, claims it's a teaching hospital. This company is run by Dr's and is a "contractor" to Banner. My suggestion to Banner to to reevaluate their contractors and the method they do business.

ZERO stars. Just received Nov 2017 collections letter for services from May 2017. Literally not one other contact received from this place other than that - no call, no email, no invoice - NOTHING placed to us or our insurance company. Beyond disgusted. Especially as this is the 3rd bill from that event that has only arrived as a collections notice in NOV instead of say MAY OR JUNE. Do not recommend.

I was extremely disappointed in this company. I am a college student from out of state and don't have a primary care doctor in the area. I had to visit the emergency room for a 3 a.m. severe allergic reaction. Anyway, I have been making regular payments since the trip to the emergency room and have never missed a month of paying my balance. To my surprise, Emergency Professional Services sent my unpaid balance to a debt collector because it was not paid.

I do not think I am alone in not being able to pay full medical bills in one payment, nor do I think there is anything wrong with having monthly payments and communication with the company. I did not choose my situation, but I have been responsibly taking care of it since it occurred. It was extremely disappointing to find out how little EPS was willing to work with me on this, giving me around 6 months to pay. Again, I am a college student.

I did not have a job at the time. I was doing everything I could to pay off the amount in increments when money was available to me. Now I have to worry about my credit because of something I was not in control of. I don't know a way to avoid having to do business with EPS, but if you have the means of avoiding it, please do. I don't know what I would do if I had a serious illness like cancer or something that required constant or very costly medical treatments.
