My son has DUAL insurance through blue cross blue shield as well as through ChampVA as I am a 100% service connected veteran. My insurance told me that they didn't provide information to settle the debt. they even reached out to them. Considering that these people just sent my bill to collections. which now im fighting to remove off of my report. This is ludicrous and very UNPROFESSIONAL.

That they have lack of responsibility and duty to their consumers. I called Emergency Resources Group to understand WHY this happened and there was no answer, or explanation. they told me to get with the creditor to try to tell them to resend to the insurance agency. are you all wack jobs? Considering that you are a fault for the whole situation I wish I could grant this 0 starts due to pure UNPROFESSIONALISM displayed.

This place is not for the public, do not go here. Please stay away, you were warned. More than once, if their lack of rating doesn't give it away please let this comment be your notice.

Initially paid my bill of over a thousand dollars for my ER visit after insurance (which was expected). I randomly get a bill in the mail from this company saying I owe them $130. Which isn't a large bill compared to other horror stories on here but when i go to pay it the website is super sketch. Its a website with nothing but a spot to put in an "invoice" number".

Once you put in the invoice number it brings you to another screen (with no verification of who you are or that the invoice number you entered is correct) with nothing but a spot to put in your credit card information and the amount. Any other time I have paid a medical bill with any other company, when you enter the invoice number it pulls up your info and the amount for you. To say this website is sketch is an under statement.

I've been harassed by Americollect regarding an account placed with them from Emergency Resource Group March 7, 2018. I advised through credit bureau dispute that I was a Marine Corps Disabled Veteran & all my medical coverage is service connected % VA. I became homeless in 2018 & Baker Acted for suicidal thoughts in March of 2019. I have tried to explain this isn't a valid debt & they refuse to provide documentation.

Emergency Resource Group never contacted me regarding this bill. I don't have any memory of the visit. I'm tired of the things placed on your credit file instantly but impossible to get assistance when it's wrong. I've overcome much by the grace of God alone & just want to live the rest of my time in peace.

Ridiculous billing practices for Baptist south. Confusing bills, you don't even understand what is legitimate. Then your credit gets dinged. Whose protecting the consumer?

Randomly get a call from a collections agency citing this place. They said I owed them money from a hospital visit 6 months ago, although I paid the hospital bill itself. This company will send a private doctor to the ER on demand, and send multiple extra bills without attempting to go through insurance. Then send you to collections without you even knowing it. This is a scam and should not even be remotely legal. They are preying on people who need medical attention at the sake of their credit and exploiting them.

I, like others, received a notice in the mail from a debt collector stating I had been turned over to collections for a $75 bill. I never received a bill in the mail. I let them know this and asked why I wouldn't at least receive a phone call. The lady was snarky and rude and responded by saying they don't have time to call everyone. I guarantee it takes a whole lot more time (and money) to turn someone into collections.

Please don't visit any of the baptist affiliated hospitals in Northeast Florida, since the billing company in charged is Emergency resources Group. My son was hospitalized for his asthma attack, the provider paid his medical bills for the hospital which was over 11,000. ERG billed for 2,490.00 for the emergency room visits and stated they received the bill as "self pay".

I only found out about this bill from 3 years ago by checking my credit report, the provider never received a bill and today Tina (not sure if that is her real name)who works for Emergency resource group stated the mailing on some of the bills was returned by ups. she refused to give me name the manager or another person who is over herself as a rep and a senior rep who could've resolved this matter prior to me leaving a review.

This company has Poor customer service skills at it's finest. Please be cautious and don't support this business. This company obviously don't care about their consumers, the consumers who keep them employed and making money. Go visit Mayo Clinic or UF health ER's who are top tier in NorthEast Florida.

I always wondered why they had 1 star when I searched their name for work. They claim they sent a bill one (1) month after service. I never received a bill until 3 months after my visit and I called to begin my monthly payments. When I called, I was told that my monthly payment will be a certain amount. I paid that same amount for a couple of months and then I increased the payment more than 3 times the amount for one month and paid at the very end of the next.

They considered that a missed payment even though I paid more than the allowed amount. And when I called to inquire why I was in collections, I was told that I missed 4 payments. I have only received 3 physical bills total from this office when they claim they sent 9. They claim they never received it back but from reading the other comments, I'm pretty sure its because they never sent it in the first place. Luckily the collection agency I was sent to will allow me to continue my monthly payments. But this is terrible that this is a constant issue and they fail to address it. Everyone is not making up the same lie.

My experience is the same as others no notice of "bill" after ER visit to Wolfson's Children Hospital for my disabled child who ultimately had to have surgery for an infection. Find out about these people on my credit report after disputing (because I know it's a mistake because insurance was presented at the ER) THEN receive a collections bill. Call and find out you are billed separately unbeknownst to patients and then told me "it's not their responsibility to provide insurance info to Dr's who are not affiliated with the hospital" (Ken)?

Then expected to pay or have your credit suffer? This should be illegal to prey on unsuspecting injured/sickly people not to mention a disabled child especially at a time when almost everyone is having a hard time. I will be reporting this to BBB and other entities to blow the whistle on these scam artists! This isn't over.

I don't think anyone enjoys getting medical bills. I know i sure don't, but I know these people are just doing there jobs. I payed a Baptist bill after an ER visit but it was charged for equipment and using the facility. I received a bill to my surprise in the mail from this company. When I received it I called to receive more info as to why I was being charged extra and they explained it was a bill to pay the doctor.

The lady asked if I was insured and I told her I wasn't so she was able to reduce my bill. I am very grateful she asked me and even though the bill was still very high every little bit helps. Thank you
