Complaint Details My credit score was ruined- plummeted by 173 points and I can't get a home loan! I want my credit score repaired! I paid for my ER copay and hospital fees at West Penn Hospital from my 08/2020 visit. I kept getting harassing calls from US Acute care solutions that I stilled owed money. But I called my hospital and they said I didn't owe anything.

I get a bill from a collections agency- Phoenix financial. I called the hospital again and emailed them and they said I didn't have any collections or anything due. I thought this whole thing was a scam so I ignored it. I tried getting a home loan and they said I had poor credit due to this collection. After digging, I found out that the hospital sends my bill to this company.

The hospital never told me about this outstanding bill and when I asked for it, they denied that I had any payment due. When I called US acute, the woman was rude on the phone and said "well, you'll just have to deal with collections". I paid collections in full but my credit score is still ruined and the damage has been done.

Can't describe how these people still operate what a fraud organization. Talked to a doctor not more than 2 minutes and a bill i received for 1029 wow

This is a terrible organization. They represent their ER MDs as in-network with many insurance firms. After a 2019 ER visit I pursued and can't find that they belong to any coverage network. When you get bill, call and negotiate. Tell them you can't pay, they should negotiate or appeal with your insurance firm. I settled for less than 1/3 of the original charge. And am lodging complaints with various state oversight agencies on the surprise billing and lack of disclosure of payer networks.

They have horrible customer service. You will sit on hold for around 30 minutes before someone is able to speak with you. Following that, when asked to submit a request for authorization, they said it would take up to 4 weeks to upload to the account. 4 weeks! that is absurd, even if your employee's are working remotely, it should not take 4 weeks to upload an emailed request authorization form to an account for a call back to discuss an account. Try not to go to a hospital where they service the Physicians!

God forbid you have to call the office for help. They will transfer you back and forth with no help given. You will definitely feel like you are "bothering" them. If you can avoid using them in the hospital, avoid at all costs. Once you are out of the hospital they are clearly done with you.

Horrible company. Their bills are exorbitant. You will face them when you are in emergency room and bills will follow you. Even hospital who provides all the services will be cheaper. Their doctor fees will start from $1000. Seriously. They are the reason for breaking the America's healthcare system.
