Had cataract surgery on both eyes. Opted to pay extra to have vision corrected at same time and get rid of my glasses. After surgery, astigmatism appeared, which was not seen prior. Now I have 2 different prescriptions for glasses and no resolution to this issue.

I was referred here and was so impressed. A really thorough exam, and they pointed out some issues that no other optometrist had told me about.

If you have Wet AMD, you want Dr. Witkin! Eye injections are not pleasant, but this doctor is wonderful. I've been going there since 2004 and everyone in there is great. Would highly recommend them.

I was surprised by the number of people in the waiting area when I arrived for my exam - at least 20, including staff. (If it were a restaurant I would've left). No temp check upon arrival and no survey RE any COVID symptoms. A lot of elderly patients, too. I arrived on time, and waited in the lobby for nearly an hour past my appointment time. I think the docs are competent but I doubt I'll be returning given how the office is being run.

I highly recommend North Suburban Eye Associates. The entire staff works as a team to ensure a pleasant and comfortable visit. I would, without hesitation, trust my eye care and needs to NSEA.
