Evans Rick L MD PHYS Kernodle Clinic first opened its doors in 1949 when three graduates of Duke University saw their vision of a single clinical operation become a reality. Dr. Harold B. Kernodle Sr., his brother Dr. Charles E. Kernodle, Jr., both surgeons, and their cousin Dr. John Robert Kernodle, an obstetrician gynecologist, joined their practices to form Kernodle Clinic.

Kernodle Clinic was heralded as one of the most modern and best-equipped facilities of its kind in the south. Today, Kernodle Clinic maintains that reputation for innovation and quality medical care.

Read our financial policy to ensure you have a clear understanding of what to expect before being billed. Kernodle Clinic began its involvement in clinical research in December of 2000 so that our physicians had access to the most current technology and medical advancements and to allow our patients access to the latest drug treatments.
Payment is expected at the time of service. Very professional and courteous receptionists. Always check in quickly. Nurses, Techs, Doctors. everyone is helpful, thorough and polite. Doctors take the time to not only speak with you but to also Listen. Highly recommend.

Terrible wait time. Especially when you're in pain. I understand they might be short staffed but they need to figure out something

The physical therapy staff are good people. They know what they are doing and they genuinely care about the patients. The scheduling staff however are lacking greatly. They have no problem with rescheduling patient's time slots without telling the patients ahead of time, nor discussing the time slot changes. They expect the patients to just go along with them while the patients are being jerked around.

I've had this happen more than once, and not a single time was I asked if the rescheduled time was ok by me. I don't have a problem with changing physical therapists, but I do have a problem with the time changes, especially without asking me if it was ok or not.

The wait to even get an appointment is ridiculous. And the neurologist I went to told me I needed electro shock therapy because of my vertigo because of my psychiatric history. Don't go here. People are uncaring and moronic

They turning patient away, without seeing them way before they close. I was there at 440 and they close at 7. then people wonder why people go to the ER, it's because of that.

Hey maybe if Bessie could read! The walk in has always been busy and the staff and providers are extremely accommodating during this stressful time. The clinic shuts down early a lot due to high volume and I myself have been turned away many times. there's nothing you can do about it. Before you go make sure you call the walk in and ask about their hours. Or go to the ER; they never refuse stupid people!

Drs(pcp n endocrinologist both happen to be white males. Real fraternity feel since they left out my obgyn whos a woman out of these discussions) didnt know when to test the hormones for a baseline. Then refused to do follow up tests. I feel like they really dont know about women conditions just on the men. What dr do full hormone panel work up less then 5 weeks away from a miscarriage then use it as baseline results when it takes 6-8 weeks for hormones to regulate.

I felt like i had 0 control over my body n what was needed for investigations of pituitary issues and was quick to be dismissive instead asking my obgyn why she thought sheehans. They thought my hormones should be deminished inspite of multiple miscarriages n hormones showing to them as "post menopausal at 37". Im gonna be following up with female pcp n endocrinologist next time. Avoid kernoodle it was a waste of my time.

The doctor I saw was very nice and caring. The wait was long but that's understandable. The front desk worker, Christy, however made the entire experience so unpleasant. The tone that she used with me while I was asking a simple question was so unprofessional and rude, I cannot believe someone in this industry could speak to a client like that. Other than the front desk experience, there are nice doctors and triage nurses here. Everything was fine except for the front desk worker.
