Dr Jester is a great surgeon. Patient oriented and made sure I understood what was likely to happen in surgery and then explained exactly what did happen afterward.

Despite reading all the glowing reviews of Dr Gade I find him to be a horrible person. My dad who is 84 years old was scheduled to have a stent put into his carotid artery back in early April 2022. After his visit my dad was advised that he also needed a double bypass. A consultation was done with Dr Thomas and it was agreed upon that he would have both procedures done. Dr Gade would do the stent and Dr Thomas would do the bypass.

This surgery was later canceled because it was decided that each procedure would need to be done on different days. On 10 June my dad would have pre-op instructions given to him. This included the medication he was allowed to have. Keeping himself clean to prevent infection, etc. The surgery was scheduled to be done on 15th. On the morning of the 15th Dr Gade stated he would not perform the surgery because my dad was on blood thinners (81mg aspirin).

This conflicted with him and he had to consult with Dr Thomas as to the proper way to move forward. It was later agreed that he could remain on the aspirin. So his surgery was canceled again. And I took dad home. We did not expect to get a call but Dr Thomas' office called and I spoke with his nurse who explained the situation and further stated that it was Dr Gade who canceled the surgery due to flying out for the weekend.

The nurse assured me that she fought for my dad to have the surgery. Dr Gade said he would do the surgery on Sunday. Well Sunday came in and Dr Gade again canceled the surgery because his flight was delayed. Given what I was told by Dr Thomas' nurse and other nurses at St Vincent Dr Gade was a capable doctor but he was not known to be punctual nor reliable on keeping his appointments.

It was very evident with what he did with my father. Sunday evening my dad tells me that Dr Gade would not be returning and it was unknown when he'd return. He added that Dr Gade found a replacement and that the surgery was put off until Monday. My dad has almost 90% blockage in his carotid. He has about 80% blockage in his heart. I have taken my dad to his appointments and each time he's told that it's going to be done.

I feel Dr Gade is putting my dad at risk each day that the surgery is put off. It would appear that Dr Gade has put his personal life ahead of those he has promised to take care of. I have no respect for such a man that makes promises to an old man only to break those promises.

Loved one scheduled a surgery and tried to prepay the day they were there. The lady behind the desk says to 'pay the day of surgery'. Then 2 days before surgery, loved one receives a message that she couldn't listen to until after work hours saying if portion wasn't paid the day of the call (of course it was after their hours), the surgery would have to be rescheduled.

Not impressed with their organization skills. Not impressed with them not knowing their own policies or policies of the center they're using. Very stressful. I hope this is not indicative of their surgeons' skillZ.

Clean. Mostly friendly staff. Adye is awesome. I won't go to any other surgeon if I can help it. Wait time isn't bad. Usually in and out.

So far all I have had done is an ultrasound and the doctor has ordered a CT scan for next Monday 3-19-2018. After the scan I am to met with the doctor to determine if he can fix me up or not. If he can we will schedule a time for the surgery and it will happen. The sooner the better as far as I am concerned. If for some reason he cannot fix me I will just drift along until the final day and just jump in the box.

I have had a good long life, a great wife, good kids and grandkids so we will lay the cards we get. I think I have a top notch doctor and hospital and staff and I know they will do the best they can.

I brought my mother in for her first consultation. I was very happy with the service and treatment my mother had been given. I felt they made her very comfortable and were very patient in explaining the procedure she will undergo. Thank you for the good experience I feel comfort knowing my mother is in good hands.
