BUYER BE AWARE I have been to this location since it opened. Current staff letting words out of their mouth before thinking or checking their records twice is a problem. For example, when the business got bought over by My Eye Dr. I went in to make my yearly eye check appointment and was told three times in various ways that I have never been there.

I am not in their system etc. When I pulled out the invoice from prior invoice, manager was called to investigate, who immediately found my record and I get told only the manager has access to those records which is why the front desk staff could not find me in the system. Today, I went in for my annual exam and I told them upfront to inform me, if anything is not covered by my insurance.

I had my eye exam completed and the results passed over to the doctor who put drops in my eyes to dilate. While waiting for the dealation to complete, the doctor led me to the sales area in Shae's hands. After going over my insurance and what my out of pocket was going to be for a new pair of glasses, I declined a new pair of glasses. At this point I am told that since I have insurance a backup pair, or sunglasses if I would like.

I insisted I did not want any new eyeglasses. So, I am told that my bill today is $44. I asked what for and Shae responds, for my $5 copay and retinal photos. I told her I did not have any photos taken. She informs me that they have already been done and I was informed before they were taken, so I need to pay for the services received. I told her that next time they are going to take photos to inform me before they take the photos.

She insists I was informed. Shae then went to confirm with the doctor only to find out no photos were taken. Had I paid without asking, what I am paying for exactly. Buyer be aware, ask and ask again at this particular location until it all makes sense to you.

I am surprised by the recent reviews, I have been going to this office for the past 8 years. Have always has great service, with both the check in experience, the lab tech, the Optometrist and the sales folks. I have not always bought glasses there but when they do have always been helpful and at a fair price. I do not have optical insurance so I know it will be more money. I am so impressed I have flown back to NC to use them, due to much better service then I have ever gotten with Eye Doctors or eye glass stores in NYC area

I was a long time customer. I was late by 10 minutes from work and they canceled the appointment after i reached their clinic, they could have texted. I blocked almost two hours from my business for this appointment. Their appointment never began at precise time in my last 10 years. There is always a wait time for the doctor in the patient room. It's not that they respect your time but they want you to respect their time. What a useless place.

They started off bad by messing up scheduling with my appointment. The doctor was nice enough, a little rushed. She could have taken s little more time with my questions. But my real issue and why I will not go back is the front office staff. There was a group of workers at the front desk talking and joking as I had to wait to be seen. If they truly had nothing to do they need somewhere else to stand.

Also I was never apologized to for messing up my appointment. The person I dealt with to order my contacts also was a bit to pushy trying to sell me extra. Then my contacts did not arrive in the time period I was given.

I have gone here for 10 years. I always make an appointment for the following year. I received a post card two weeks before my appointment as a reminder. I showed up promptly for my appointment only to be told that it had been cancelled. They said they left me a voicemail, which was a lie. I asked to speak to my eye doctor and they refused to let me see him. They refused to honor the appointment. This is a disgraceful way to treat their long term and loyal customers. I will not use them again.

I don't get the reviews lately. I am sitting in the waiting room now and everyone is polite and asking off people need help. they always manage to squeeze me in last minute even if they are fully booked. both docs have great personalities and are very nice. I have no problems here with the eye care. I have not purchased glasses though, but like mostly places you should make an appointment.

In general they are fine. I agree with the long waits. But stuff happens. I was there last week and there was practically no wait. BUT. watch out for the estimated days to get your glasses. Almost 100% of the time they are delayed by at least double the number of days they initially estimate. I am not very happy about this (and that's why the 3 stars) and I think this something that can be fixed. Also in my last visit, the person who was helping me to pick my frames was very disinterested and was y-a-w-n-i-n-g all the time.

I have been a patient here for three years but this last visit has me looking at other eye care choices. I loved my eye doctor, she was very straight forward and easy to get along with. The customer service here is awful now. They had me fill out a ton of paperwork since they switched their systems. A bit annoying but no problem. Then I ordered contacts and didn't receive them or get any phone calls from them for a month.

So I called them and found out they sent it to my old address. I asked them why did I spend the time filling out all that paperwork with my correct address then? They said they must have forgot to put it in the system. I'm a pretty forgiving person so I let it slide and was told they would arrive at my house by the end of the week. They did not. I got them the following week addressed to "Laura Scaggs" My first name is Renee so not sure how that happened.

I called them just now to explain all of this to their office manager and was put on hold. After waiting for 5 minutes the line went dead. I called again and was sent to voicemail. I left a voicemail saying I'm done and will be finding another place to go to.

I have been a loyal customer for years and have never had such a visit like I had today. My wife and I came in to buy $500 in sunglasses and we were completely ignored for more than 20 min while three people stayed in the back (within eye contact) laughing and talking. We finally got served and after paying over $200 for a pair of Oakley glasses they were put in a bag not cleaned and I was informed they had no hard case.

However they had a glass case full of Oakley sun glasses. I am extremely disappointed and feel cheated. The associate that helped us was not concerned at all about customer service.

My daughter and I have been going here for many years as both contact-lense and glasses patients. Have never had an entire visit, including wait, exam, and fitting for lenses and/or glasses greatly exceed one hour, which seemed reasonable to us. Staff have always been courteous. Have had to go back for various glasses repairs and replacements, as well as contact lense replacements.

Never received one ounce of push-back when something needed to be replaced for free. Very happy with service and professionalism of staff. Very happy with how knowledgable the doctors are. Very surprised to see so many negative reviews.
