Our physicians at provide medical and surgical care of the eye, as well as routine eye exams for glasses and contact lenses. We utilize the latest techniques in cataract / implant surgery, employing the "drops only" painless method of anesthesia for their microincision sutureless cataract technique.
Dr. Dahlgren, a native of Milwaukee, WI, began practicing with Eye Physicians and Surgeons in 2009. While he practices comprehensive ophthalmology for patients of all ages, Dr. Dahlgren specializes in cornea transplant surgery, no needle/no stitch cataract surgery, LASIK and laser eye surgery, and other ocular surface procedures.
Dr. Solverson began practicing with Eye Physicians & Surgeons in 2012. Dr. Solverson practices comprehensive ophthalmology including cataract surgery, LASIK, glaucoma, as well as injections for wet macular degeneration. Dr. Solverson is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is on staff at Lakeland Medical Center and Burlington Memorial Hospital.
At Eye Physicians & Surgeons our doctors provide the latest surgical skill and techniques in cataract surgery. The facilities we operate at employ excellent anesthesiology providers, nurses, and surgical staff, with top of the line instrumentation. We routinely perform "no needle, no stitch" surgery to remove a cataract.
At Eye Physicians and Surgeons, we only offer the most advanced type of LASIK available on the market. On all of our LASIK patients we use the Intralase laser to create the flap. For many years a blade was used to create the flap in LASIK. With the advent of Intralase technology, a laser is used to create a flap that can be made to the exact size, shape, and depth that each patient needs.

Very pleased with the Eye Physicians from the front desk people, to the assistants that help in the examining rooms, to the doctor. Everyone treats you with respect- they are professional, as well as friendly, and, most importantly, when I leave there I feel like I have honest, trustworthy, valuable feedback about the health of my eyes. The place is always extremely clean. It is easy to park and enter. I have been to a few other eye doctor places and this is certainly at the top of the list.

Dr. Matthews was thorough, explained everything to me, and personable. I would recommend him. The nurse working with him was much the same. I appreciated being able to get in quickly after the referral. I wish the appt. text reminder would consider the early arrival for paperwork as it confused me and made me think my appt. was bumped 15 minutes later. This is a system tweak, nothing to do with the services provided.

"dropped the ball" on billing and sent a bill to collections by sending nine notices to the wrong addressamd never bothered trying to call before sending it to collections. Refused me medical care until I paid the bill I did not know about. When they discovered they had made a mistake, they made no effort to inform me of it.

I went in for a second opinion eye exam and just like the 1st visit everyone was so nice and the environment is welcoming. The doctor explains everything he's doing and actually answers questions. He is very attentive. If only the dozen plus other doctors I see for other health issues listened and genuinely care like Dr. Veith! Thank You Staff & doctors Happy Holiday!
