I would defiantly recommend this hospital! I have only had to deal with the ICU wing and staff and I have to say hands down they are the most amazing people I have met at a hospital. My boyfriend was admitted to the ICU and was in a medically induced coma for almost a week but once taken off the meds to induce that he still wouldn't wake up for almost 4 days after and the staff was very compassionate with myself and his family in regards to this, I was there everyday for hours on end sitting with him and they never once got annoyed or aggravated with me about anything.

On top of that I would call 2-3 times a day throughout the day when I was at work or couldn't make it to see him right away and they answered all the questions I had even if nothing about his status had changed. I will point out a couple specific people who were nurses and his Dr named Bry, Beth and Jackie, They were ALL so attentive to him and so understanding and amazing with myself and his family.

I had been up there one day from 4:30 till about 8:30 ( visiting hours are only 11-8) and they didn't give me any hard time about being there after visiting hours and didn't even tell me to leave or anything along those lines. I have such respect for this staff due to the severity of the patients that they deal with and I cant say enough amazing things about them. They literally saved my boyfriends life and were able to bring him back to us after we thought all hope was gone. THEY DO NOT GIVE UP ON THEIR PAITENTS AT ALL!

The neurology department at this hospital is a joke, specifically the women's headache center. There's lack of communication between staff, lack of effort from doctors so much so that its negligent. It should not take 3 plus months to fill a prescription, or 3 plus weeks to hear back from the doctor. The non effectiveness of this department has caused so much physical and emotional distress, and disruption to my household.

Not only because of LACK OF DUE TREATMENT but because of their negligence that its now caused a loss of health insurance and disruption to our everyday lives. I have never seen such disorganization at a medical facility. These are people's lives they're dealing with and they're blatantly failing their patients. I have a very sick family member at home WHICH would have never happened and could have been avoided had the staff had just done their jobs.

All this department has done is twiddle their thumbs and pass notes back and forth with a huge attitude. This department should be investigated by the medical board and staff should be replaced or at the very least be put on probation.

Absolutely terrible. some of the nurses in the surgical wing need a review in empathy. rude, lack of communication between the staff, and just total aggravation. definitely read the rest of the reviews on this one before going.

I have had a great experience with a partial left knee surgery. Dr. Shaw was personal and professional always explaining everything. Susan my nurse in pre-op was tremendous. Smart and funny. My nurse Kevin on the night shift was tremendously helpful and responsive. The PCA's Meghan and Steph were terrific keeping my needs at the forefront. The PT and NP Laurie made a tough experience very good. I would recommend Brigham and Faulkner to anyone looking for top notch professional care. Thank you all for the job you do.

If you're over 15 minutes late they make you cancel your appointment, no exceptions (even if a truck overturned on the highway on your way up and it took you 2 hours). I find this to be such hypocrisy - you often have to wait 30-45 minutes past your appt time to get in to see a doctor. I was 5 minutes past the cutoff and was told I had to come back.

Went to ER because I couldn't stop puking. I'm a baby when I feel really sick and weak and I become really anxious. Everyone was very kind and comforting and the doctor showed me how the IV works so I would be less afraid of it. Appreciate him going above and beyond to help me with that! I would definitely recommend going here if you need ever a hospital.

I visited the ER at 4am and have truly never received more thoughtful medical care in my life. I was in a room and seen by a nurse, physicians assistant, and doctor within the first 30 minutes of arriving. Everyone was so kind and eager to go the extra mile to make sure I was well cared for during a scary experience. I will never go anywhere else in an emergency (location dependent of course.)

I went to Faulkner neurology for two years for help with daily chronic migraines. I stopped going due to continued rude office staff and the fact that I only saw a non fellow one time out of my eight or so total office visits. I did like Melissa for whatever it's worth. The other crazy thing was that after I cancelled one appointment (because insurance tried charging me 4,000$ they tried booking me out three months later)(the office staff seemed to enjoy the power trip) and when I paged my doctor I never got call backs (or at least I didn't three times that I tried paging them).

I hate to leave negative reviews but I also mentioned these issues to them several times and they never addressed them. I just want future patients to know what they are getting into because migraines are no joke. My new doctor at MGH is also asking me multiple questions that my Faulkner doctor never asked me (like literally TEN) things about diet, family history, medication dosage etc etc that are helping me tremendously. They are just a thousand times better all around.

Great hospital! My mom had a surgery there and everyone were amazingly kind, caring and professional. Starting from registration, to surgery team, recovery team and nursing team. Super kind and caring such that my mom was telling me she doesn't want to leave; Other than super great staff, the hospital itself is not crowded, it's super clean and the rooms had beautiful views.

I had a surgery on the 12 Sep in this hospital done by Dr. James Greenberg. Dr. James Greenberg is so experienced and knowledgeable, he did go through everything that I should know about the surgery, great personality and a positive attitude, his a mission is to provide a care and attention to each person walked to his office I was treated with incredible care and skill by the nursing staff. Nurses Kersi-Ann Morse and Rachel, Ashely and Cheryl, the beautiful Rachelle Jacques that made me laugh:) and the wonderful team of Bernie and Marietta that they helped me take a shower when I couldn't do it by my self and made me smile and finally, The angel Lindsay Bandazian ( NP) very warm and carry person, sweet and nice, she will have a conversation with you every morning about how do you feel and make sure that everything goes well, she is not in rush, she will give you the time needed to answer all your question. This hospital have the right people in the right position. Thank you to Dr. James Greenberg and to all the nurses and their assistances.
