My husband called me today and said he has never been treated so badly as today when he called about his appointment. He has been there several times and had no issues with the doctor she was great. His phone conversation with the receptionist left him feeling very upset. Sounds like its time for some new help at that office.

I was referred to Dr. Ramdass by my podiatrist this was to see if he could correct a previous surgery that had made my ankle/ foot worse. My first impression I like him he's easy to talk to and took the time to explain exactly what he would be doing and how that would be achieved. It's been about three and a half months since the surgery. I've gone back a number of time for Xrays and as I've been healing I continue to be very happy with Dr. Ramdass and their office staff.

My first trip to a foot and ankel and Dr. Ramdass comes VERY HIGHLY recommended and I know why. One of the kindess Doctors ever met and his office staff is as well professional, kind and over the top helpful. I do insurance billing and I know the drill with insurance and thats their job for sure to make sure the Doctors get paid for the services they provider. Surgery tomorrow looking forward to getting this behind me with an amazing doctor.

Let me start by saying Dr Lonas was great. However her nurse/assistant Tracy is not so much. Dr Lonas found a hairline fracture that was missed by urgent care and said she suspected a lisfranc injury and wanted me to get an MRI. I was told by the nurse/assistant would call my insurance and get preauthorization for me to get the MRI and would call me back when they had it so that I could schedule the MRI.

After a week I called and left a message asking about it. I got a call back with a voicemail from Tracy and she knows nothing of it. So I called and left them another message because they don't answer the phones there and have not gotten a response. It's now been two weeks since my visit my foot is still hurting and swollen and I'm out of work on short term disability but it seems I'm going to have to find another doctor to get this taken care of and pay the money for the initial visit all over again and take even more time to find the problem and get treated.

I guess this is why they require all payment up front otherwise I wouldn't pay for their services because I'm now going to have to pay another doctor for the same thing. If by chance they do call and make this right I will remove this review.

Critical: Communication, Professionalism, Quality Never had a problem with the Dr but office staff is awful. Apparantly my insurance didn't pay a few things, but instead of sending me a bill, they called me the day before my appointment and told me they cancelled it until I paid my balance due. I didn't even know I owed anything.

Dr. Ramdass is amazing! The women that work in the office amazing but, the lady who runs billing. I'm pretty sure she is married to one of the Docs. Sheis rude and tries to squeeze blood from a stone! Don't let that sway you the Drs at top of the heap.

After two other Doctor's i came to the foot and ankle center where instead of a partial fix and continued doctor visits Dr. Gorshstein offered and gave me a lasting fix and I'm pain free for the first time in 15 years. I am exceptionally happy with both him and his staff and would refer anybody to him.

My husband and I have both been patients of Dr. Gorenshtein. He has been exceptionally thorough and careful in our examinations and treatments. I know that he has many years of experience and is well regarded by his peers. His office staff is very pleasant and efficient as well. Mary Wright

I would not give one star but I had to! Oh have I got a lot to say. BEWARE OF THIER BILLING PRACTICES! I was told that the Doc was in network only to find out she was not at the time of my visit. I had to pay well above my allowed (Insurance contract) amounts until I had a huge credit, then I refused to pay anymore. I had foot surgery scheduled and they want full price yet again instead of the allowed insurance amount and the office manager (the Doc's wife) threatened if I did not bring a check in to her within 24 hours she was cancelling my surgery!

My surgery was not set to be done for a couple more weeks. The insurance company had to call her and tell her I did not owe that much money to her for the surgery, that what I had already paid was the total patient responsibility! I needless to say cancelled my surgery and never went back, but fought to get all my money back! This all happened to me in November 2009 the reason I am now writing is because I have received a bill from them, the nerve! UGGGG cant get rid of them either! Best advice is GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Overall Terrible - 1st though, let me say, Doctor was very nice and did a wonderful job for me - but the rest of the experience was a nightmare. Billing problems, uncertainty, poor customer service, no one got back to me as they said they would. Just lacking in common sense and common courtesy. If you have any disputes with billing manager, I'd suggest getting a name and keeping a record of who you spoke to and when. There are other good doctors in the Winchester, Purcellville, Hamilton area.

Dr. Gorenshtein is great! But I have never seen a worse-runned office. I have also never been treated like this by a doctor's office. The office staff and management are rude, condescending, and unwilling to work with you. You will most likely get charged with something you shouldn't be. I called more than 48 hours in advance to cancel my appointment and they charged me a missed appointment fee.

When I needed to give them new insurance information they refused to accept it unless they had the card in hand. My insurance requires a referral and when I tried to give them the referral number they refused that too, since they wanted a paper one in hand. They specifically said, "we won't file this with your insurance. You will have to pay the full amount." I told them I would give them the documents and new insurance card on my next visit and they told me that they would cancel that appointment if I did not bring them in sooner.

I had paid all of what I had owed them including full price custom orthotics and they still treated me like garbage. They do not care about their patients! Please be warned! There are plenty of other podiatrist offices out there that will treat you so much better.

Horrible service in so many ways! I'd rather give no stars! I went to the Martinsburg office. Not only was the office and equipment rundown and out of date, but the billing is ridiculous. I had to cancel my daughters appointment the morning of due to illness. They still charged me claiming it was their policy for missed appointments. After informing them that we weren't a no show, but had called that morning because my daughter was sick, they didn't care.

It "was less than 24 hour notice". I have five children as well as several health problems. We see a lot of Dr.'s and NEVER have I been billed for cancelling the morning of due to illness. Also, it's a joke trying to speak to someone about the bill. They require you talk to the Winchester office, and once there you have to speak to the ONE billing specialist who most times doesn't answer her phone.

They won't take payments over the phone nor will they do credit cards through the mail. To use my health savings account card I will have to drive to the office directly and pay through there. Am I mistaken or is this not the 21st century? I will NEVER go to this Dr. again nor will I recommend them ever!
