I went to Dr. Krider a few years ago but ended up changing doctors maybe 5 or 6 months after. I thought he was nice and I sincerely believe he was doing what he thought best for me, but he treated my insomnia like it was nothing. Prescribed an antidepressant for it (I've literally had chronic insomnia for about 30 years) I changed doctors the day after I nodded off standing up after not having slept for 5 days!

I was on my patio and fell! Ouch! I'm interested in his diet program, however, and intend to look into that - I really like a no pills/drugs that aren't completely necessary approach. It really is best, however when they are needed to keep you safe and healthy they need to be prescribed.

Dr. krider is one of the best Drs in the high desert. He treats you like a friend and his staff is very nice and polite. 5 stars!

Kind staff, but this is just another office playing you for your money. I feel like I made extra appointments for things that could have definitely been handled the same day. They space things out, and order extra tests so they can get more of your money. I went here to get help for my cholesterol. All of my appointments were very short, the doctor gave me very little information, and told me to make another appointment to get another test.

The tests all ended up being very quick, but I then had to book another appointment to talk to the doctor about the result. He again gave me very little information. Thankfully I am very informed about my cholesterol issues and how to handle them (from better doctors in the past) One of my appointments, after all the tests came back, he just gave me a link to his website promoting his personal diet plan that is supposedly good for everyone.

If he was just going to give me a link to his diet plan and books, I really feel like I didn't need all those extra breathing and personal BMI tests. I want a doctor, not a website. The only reason there's a second star is for kind staff. I don't appreciate wasting my money trying to get health help. After looking through the rest of the reviews, and coming across one regarding police, I looked up James Krider on the California State Medical Board official website to find that his license is current, but he has a public reprimand on his record for minor violations for negligence.

Dr. Krider is a good solid GP. He takes his time to make himself understood and he doesn't speak down to you. Very smart and humble guy. It took me awhile to find a GP I liked in the desert and he's the man.

After seeing me for only several minutes, Dr. Krider tried to offer me an option of 2 anti-depressants. I left without further help as I don't have any history of depression, was not feeling depressed in anyway, yet have severe anxiety. Also, I literally could hear every word between him and the patient he saw prior to me from the next exam room over.

I waited in this room for over 20 minutes, yet multiple signs state if you're on your phone when the doctor walks in, you won't be seen? I understand the need for that, but if i'm waiting 20 mins, I should at least be able to check some emails.

This visit: Most recently the medications that I have been taking (prescribed by a different doctor) were giving me allergic reactions. I began seeking a secondary opinion with James Krider MD and his analysis of my symptoms and allergic troubles led him to change the med's and now everything in my life makes sense again, and back to work, and back to normalcy. Thanks for the time sir.

Doctor James Krider prescribed accurate meds to my son, and his preexisting symptoms were interefering with his life. James Krider helped us immensely! Thank you so much Doc!

I was referred to this office from a friend and put off coming in to see the doc for about a month but finally made it in for an appointment. I had a lot of medical concerns and now I'm psychologically in a much better place, and received the medical attention I needed. I'll update my review in a couple weeks after I have had some time to evaluate the meds. I also brought my cousin with me and he waited in the waiting room and said you have very polite crowd of clientele.

Super fantasic service last week with the good Dr. Your team was prompt and had my prescription info ready faster at the pharmacy than last pickup, not sure if thats your good work or luck. Anywho thanks for the pleasant checkup and glad to see you last week!
