At that time the clinic was named Donop Hospital and Clinic. In 1939 it was sold to a group of physicians who changed the name to Fredericksburg Hospital and Clinic. The current name, Fredericksburg Clinic arose in 1976. This coincided with the founding of Hill Country Memorial Hospital. The clinic is located 0.8 miles south of the hospital. The clinic is known for providing excellent medical care in a warm, caring atmosphere. The Fredericksburg Clinic is the largest clinic in Gillespie County, and continues to give personal care to each patient.
Services
Medical services offered at the Fredericksburg Clinic include the Board Certified primary care specialties of Family Medicine and Internal Medicine. Clinic physicians provide comprehensive care, including preventive care, acute care, and care for chronic medical conditions.

I've been a patient here since 2013 and have never had an issue! Everyone is polite. The staff they now have is knowledgeable about insurance and if I have any issues, they help resolve them! I am able to get in for appointments quickly and love the ability to have my labs done in the clinic! Have seen several providers and a nurse practitioner and have been pleased with them all! My whole family goes to this clinic and will continue to do so!

Love Dr. Kott and she's the only reason why we still come here. At this point after the CDC has stated masks don't work only the kn95's why are we still being forced to wear them?! We are at a point where everyone who wanted to be vaccinated is and masks are not needed.

Dr. Michael Johnson is a wonderful physician. He listens to me and thoroughly discusses whatever issues are occurring. He gets back with me timely if I leave a message. All around, he is a great doctor who truly cares about his patients.

Usually a nice place to visit the few times I've been here. However, that's the only reason I'm giving them 3 stars. They're still in the Dark Ages with their silly mask requirements. As a free American, I refuse to comply with their silly policy. Sheep: Oh, but thousands of people have died from COVID-19. Aren't you worried you could get infected? Me: Not at all.

There are many ways I could die today but COVID-19 ain't one of them. And newsflash! Millions of people die from the flu every year! You just chose to allow yourselves to be scared by a bunch of CNN reporters. Folks, this is about politics not policy and until you sheep start pulling your heads out of your butts and start taking your freedom back, you'll continue to be easily controlled.

Extremely unfriendly people on the phone making appointments after I spent time filling out 20 pages of new patient forms and faxing them in to be "accepted" as a patient. It was so off-putting that I will find somewhere else to go!

Unless you pay for MD VIP do not count on getting appointments easily and do not count on thorough follow up unless you pay up for the VIP program. One I found out about after my husband was offered an "in" and got an appointment with one call. My visits have required MANY calls to TRY to book. More often than not we go to HCM minor emergency/urgent care and once the ER to care for ailments left unseen while we try and try to book an appointment.

I am currently looking for a new, compassionate, and thorough physician to help manage a chronic condition this facility has failed at doing simply for lack of access to care. Getting a call back is like pulling teeth and wellness checkups not a thing.only call when you are sick. Be prepared to do HCM urgent care if you never get a call back.

Have had 3 bad experiences. I miss diagnosis with a stomach ache which I had to go back to emergency room. I had to go right away to open heart surgery. Quad bypass! They had me down for a ulcer problem suspected. their receptionist is not prudent in returning phone calls. Called today and told it was 11:00 am they close at 12:00. Like I was bothering them. Pretty disappointed. told them top take me off their patient list.

One of the worst clinics in town. Gave my parents the wrong tests. And didn't even call in to the hospital to have my mother who has COPD get checked for covid so we had to rush her to the ER in San Antonio. They still have not called us back after us leaving numerous messages to tell her doctor she did test positive for covid and we need strong steroids and a z pac to help her with her breathing and to prevent her from getting an infection! This clinic doesn't care! Don't go here!

I have been going to this clinic for about four years now. I have always been treated with dignity and respect. They are as good or better than other civilian clinics I have gone to at ensuring that I am seen as close as possible to the time of my appointment. They have also been very timely on processing referrals when I need to be seen by a specialist.

The main reason I came to this clinic was that the previous one I used could not seem to be able to process any referrals. I also appreciate that they don't always just stop at what I came in for. Dr Daley makes sure that I am informed about vaccines, or new procedures that are of great benefit to the medicare age folks. All in all, it is almost like the ones who have posted one star reviews have been going to a different clinic than I go to.

My review matched some of the others. After being a patient for nearly fifteen years, I finally quit this clinic. In the past few years, they have gotten rid of their once competent staff both medical and administrative. This in order to cut costs and improve profits? Now they are evidently hiring from the bottom of the labor pool. If they're fortunate to hire a competent person, they soon leave for better pay elsewhere. Calling for any type of care is like calling your credit card or cable company.

If their phone system happens to be working, you're given choice of numbers to choose from, press 1 for.etc. Once you've done that don't expect to speak with a human being. You'll be requested to leave a message. If you're lucky, you'll get a call back in a few hours. Hopefully you'll be close to your phone. If not you'll wind up playing phone tag.

If you initially needed immediate help, too bad. Their on-line tracking and personal patient info system is a joke. It's a national program but is not maintained at the clinic by competent staff. Their goal of cutting costs to increase profits has cost them at least one patient. Very little goes smoothly there anymore.
