The Doctors at UUANJ have been amazing. They are the best group so it can take a little time to see them but, that just goes to show how good they are! Highly recommend these guys.

DO NOT GO HERE! The waiting room is filthy & the urine stained seats are repulsive. We booked this appointment 3 wks ahead of time to have my daughter seen by a female doctor. We arrived on time, waited close to an hour & were brought into a room where we waited another 30 minutes. Not only did we NOT get to see the female doctor we drove an hour for, but ultimately saw a male physician's assistant.

It was a clear bait & switch. To add insult to injury, we were never called or provided with the results of her urinalysis. We called and were told that we would have to book another appointment to get the results. At the end of the day we were left with a large bill and no answers. You will regret making an appointment! ps. If you found my review helpful, please be sure to click on the thumbs up & like this post. Thanks :

Havent even been seen at office yet and my experience is horrible. Was in hospital for kidney stones and one of your dr performed surgery and put a stent in me. Told me im ok to go back to work next day but im in nothing but pain. Called office on monday to try and get appt and nothing till thurs. Asked to speak to dr and was told i cant because I wasn't seen in the office. Umm hello i had surgery in hospital but cant speak to dr.

Than i called again to get a note for work until i can be seen in office. Called in morning, got phone call back at 2pm stating they would speak to dr and call me back. Got no return phone call. Can only leave voicemails which i did at 4pm. Its now 5pm no phone call and no note. This is by far the worse experience from dr. Not to mention dr who did surgery didnt prescripe me any pain meds or antibiotics. Not happy and afraid how my first visit will go.

If I could give a 0 star rating, I would. By far the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. (Dr. Gazi) After having a cystoscopy and getting a diagnosis from Dr. Gazi of prostatitis, he scheduled me for a TUMT procedure. The procedure itself is fairly invasive and requires you to be put under general anesthesia. When I went in for the procedure, Dr. Gazi didn't show up at all, and instead the procedure was performed by a different doctor after I was already prepped.

After coming out from under the anesthesia, I was immediately released. Nobody came to talk to me about how the procedure went, to see how I felt, or to explain expectations for after the procedure. I went home and was in excruciating pain and bleeding, and not sure if it was normal or not. I called the office to speak with Dr. Gazi and was told that I needed to make an appointment.

I explained that I was having post-procedure complications and needed to speak with him, and the receptionist hung up on me. After calling back several times and arguing with the receptionist, I was finally able to get a call back from Dr. Gazi a day or two after the procedure. After explaining my continuing complications and the pain I was in, he said he would send a prescription to my pharmacy, which he never did.

That was the last time I heard from him, and the procedure was 4 months ago. They were supposed to schedule a follow up exam, which they never did. No follow up, no nothing. Literally the worst experience I ever had with a doctor's office. PS, after finding a new doctor, he was shocked that I was diagnosed just off the cystoscopy and scheduled for the TUMT in the first place, let alone the lack of bedside manner, follow up, or caring of any kind for my wellbeing.

This is an update to my poor review. The office finally called me because I called my MD. Thank Goodness she called the office and I finally got my antibiotic! Fever coming down and starting to feel like my self. UTI' s suck!

This place has incompetent staff, rude nurses, and make you wait days after your office visit to fill out your scripts. Looking for a new urologist in Monmouth county! And if you ever have to use their answering service and talk to the doctor on call-good luck, he won't help you, he can't even write scripts, what good is he! This place is a joke!

UUANJ all the doctors and staff and especially Dr. Gazi is one of the best doctors that I had during my cancer, he is kind and you can see it in his eyes. He actually cares very much about each patient that he is working with. Dr. Gazi has changed my world, he has great bedside manner, very thoughtful and observent of the situation, answers all of your questions and is very honest.

He is not only easy to talk to but when he becomes your Doctor he also becomes your friend for life. He is a wonderful Doctor and I recommend him to every one that has the kind of Cancer that he specializes in. Mine was Bladder Cancer. He knows Doctors everywhere, so even if you are moving he knows who to send you to and I feel very comfortable with his contribution to saving me. Dr. Gazi thank you for being my surgeon and I hope to see you again some day now that I am moving back to Arizona, thank you for the referrals that you have given me, and thank you for being the BEST Doctor that I have ever had. I will truly miss seeing you.

In a recent visit to University Urology Associates NJ (UUANJ) I was humiliated and talked down to as if my life and questions did not matter. I have been a patient of the practice for over a year. In that time I have witnessed the following situations: Small and unsanitary waiting room. Urine stained seats and bad odor. Violation of Hipaa Law, discussing patients confidential medical information at the window in front of everyone.

Multiple arguments due to the lack of professionalism from reception staff. Extremely long wait time in lobby as well as the medical room (once you are called back). Lack of compassion and unbecoming behavior from medical professionals (Nurse Practitioners and Doctors). Seen by a Nurse or another doctor in the practice when your appointment was for a specific doctor. Billed for in-office lab work from another company without prior knowledge that you will be billed separately.

The majority of the staff's "Take it leave it" mentality regarding medical treatment. Multiple tests that are recommended each and every visit. Results are read, verbatim, and you are charged for a doctor's visit. Then you will have to come back for more tests when it you could and should have been tested that very same day. (Makes me feel that it is all about making money) Doctors will over talk you without allowing you to get a word in edgewise and once you call them out on it, you are deemed argumentative and intimidating when you are simply concerned about your medical well-being.

On the flip side, it wasn't all bad, there was an African-American Medical Assistant that was excellent. He possessed the compassion and professionalism that was refreshing and much appreciated. I wish more of the practice could be just like him. Needless to say, I will not be going back to this facility. I wouldn't take a sick animal to be euthanized there. Professionally, Highly Concerned Patient

Would never recommend. Dirty, makes you with 2 hours for app scheduled weeks in advance. Just an aweful experience. Rude staff. Refuses to give medical records
