Acne is the term used for pimples and complexion problems that occur in many young people and some adults. Approximately 90% of all people will have acne at some point in their lives. Pimples usually occur on the face, but may extend to the neck, chest, upper arms, back and legs. Acne is not only a skin concern but can have psychosocial concerns in many, which is why we take the treatment of acne so seriously. We also have the tools at our disposal to successfully treat most acne scars, a common occurrence seen in those who suffer from acne.
Actinic Keratosis (AKs) is a precancerous skin growth that may progress to skin cancer. The growths begin as small, scaly or crusty patches on the skin's surface. Actinic keratoses are most commonly found on areas that are heavily exposed to the sun such as the face, ears, scalp, neck, upper back and chest, backs of hands and forearms.

You need to go here! Get your skin checked and be confident in your health. I had four moles removed. The shots DO NOT HURT. Removing moles DOES NOT HURT. The entire process took about 10 minutes and I did not feel a thing. Dr. Kevin and Tabitha have amazing bed side manner. They will take care of you. I was so nervous, for no reason at all. I should have gone years ago but I chickened out.
Don't be like me, there is nothing, I repeat nothing to be afraid of except waiting to go and not catching something before it's too late. Again, the process doesn't hurt. If you've had a bad experience before, like me, trust that Gold Skin Care will take very good and not painful at all care of you. Seriously, go. Don't wait. I have been going to Dr. Michael Gold on and off for years. He is such a nice, laid back, knowledgeable and simply one of the greatest doctors in the field. He is not just my dermatologist; I consider him to be a friend! Plus he has the best staff in the world. I've referred my children, family and friends to him for all their skincare needs.

Dt. Gold is the best dermatologist in Nashville (and I've been to many). For years I had chronic rosacea and had tried every treatment you can think of, spending tons of money. Dr. Gold is the first one to actually help me with the right antibiotics and topical creams. My rosacea is pretty much gone now! I had a high school reunion recently and came in for some Botox and a micro dermabrasion, the results were fantastic! The staff is wonderful, Collette is so helpful and a pleasure to see every time.

The office was clean and well lit. The wait to see the doctor was about 5 minutes. The nurse, nurse practitioner, and the administrator were clean, neat and extremely pleasant. The process took about 10 minutes. It was painless and we had good conversation. Overall it was a pleasant experience, I look forward to the follow up appointment.

Dr. Gold has been treating my almost 16 year old daughter for over a year now due to a keloid on her chest. Out of many highly rated and well known dermatologists and plastic surgeons, in and around Nashville, Dr Gold is the ONLY one who has actually had a plan due to his extensive experience, RESEARCH and knowledge in treating keloids, especially of different ethnicities.
As a side note, I truly appreciate and respect that both Dr. Gold's staff as well as his clients are DIVERSE! Speaks volumes to me both in his practice to treat ALL skin types (way beyond "dry, oily, and wrinkly" lol - I'm pointing out black, asian, hispanic, young, old - ALL types!) and his excellence to provide a thriving culture for EVERYONE in his practice!
In my personal experience within this time frame, I did encounter one incident that boiled down to a breakdown in communication but clearly, Dr. Gold and his staff provided expedient, straight-forward follow up and encouragement and worked with me; that being said, great RESPECT to Dr. Gold and his amazing staff for their communication skills and desire to work WITH clients and not alienate them. Finally, I realize that due to my daughter's age, Asian ethnicity and keloid/acne that IS improving - we consider ourselves to be loyal clients.
We have the confidence that Dr. Gold earnestly continues to be the innovative leader and researcher on my daughter's condition AND other every other skin condition that comes his way. We trust him. We value his straight-forward and honest approach to his clients. At this point, I look forward to being a client of his as well. We are blessed to have access to such excellent care from Dr. Gold and ALL his staff! :)

My experience today at Gold Skin Care is exactly the way it has been every time for the past twenty years: first rate. I'm always treated as an individual (not a nameless patient) by courteous, competent, professional assistants. Additionally, I consider Dr. Michael Gold as fine a dermatologist as you will find anywhere. I must drive 1 1/2 hours to get to Dr. Gold's office for an appointment; I would gladly drive twice as long if it were needed. That fact alone speaks to the respect and high regard I have for Dr. Gold.

I went in to treat a wart I've had on the bottom of my foot for over a decade. I've had it scraped off, burned off, frozen off with liquid nitrogen, and it never failed to grow back. Gold Skin Care is one of the only dermatologists in Nashville that has a SWIFT machine, and after four treatments, I can safely say that my 10 year old wart is gone and is NEVER COMING BACK. Expensive treatment - but very worth it. The team (Collette and Emily especially!) are so kind and intelligent! Can't thank them enough!

Dr. Gold is a joke. Never heard of or met a man so egotistical in my life. After working with doctors for a living I can confidently say that his bedside manner as well as his respect for patients is below par on every level. He barely spends any time talking with his patients unlike many other doctors who will stay and answer questions and give explanations.
I truly hope that one day his license is taken away from him. I recommend that everyone avoid this place and go literally anywhere else as you will at least be treated like a person. And to Dr. Gold specifically. try to be a better person. Thank you.

Dr. Gold is professional in every aspect of the word! No matter what the cause of your visit he is positive in attitude and does not make you feel uncomfortable about anything. There's always a friendly atmosphere and the waiting area is set up for proper social distancing. Besides that.he gets results! He's knowledgeable about the latest treatments and at a moments notice, will complete an outpatient procedure as needed! I'm my opinion he is Definitely the Best Dermatologist in and around the Nashville area!

I had a hydra facial and a derma plane with an eyebrow wax. Madeline was the aesthetician who did my service and was just wonderful. My hydra facial was great and I really enjoyed it. I do miss however being able to wear the wrap instead of doing the hydra facial in my clothes, although my clothing did not get wet or anything. I'm just used to going to spas where you change into a wrap and your hair gets pulled back with a hairband.
They did not do this at Gold Skin Care Center. My skin looks great and I ended up coming home with some good products that she recommended as well. They were on sale too so that was a plus!

Lindsey Baker should win an award for being the best Aesthetician in Nashville! I have tried a couple other places when I was living in different areas and I never came out looking as good as I do when I leave this office. Lindsey is gentle so I have never left with bruises and I do fillers and botox and lazers. I look younger than I did in 2015, when I first started coming here.
There are a lot of choices for where you can get fillers/botox, but honestly, even if I have to relocate, I will still fly back here to see her. This office regularly runs specials. They have such a lovely and friendly staff. Katie Andrews and Amy Behel. I love coming here, and I won't ever use anywhere else. I've never had a compliment on my lips in my entire life, and now I regularly get them all the time. :
