Services
We focus on offering a high quality, service oriented environment for your surgical procedure. Our facility is accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Golden Ridge Surgery Center is a facility in which physicians have an ownership or investment interest. The list of physician owners or investors is available to you upon request. Our facility accepts most major commercial insurance, HMO/PPO plans, Medicare, Workers Compensation, and other government sponsored health coverage.
Any pre-operative tests will be determined by your physician or anesthesiologist and communicated to you prior to the date of your surgery. You may receive up to three calls. You will be contacted a few days prior to surgery by a member of your health care team. This call will include a routine health assessment, instructions for the day of surgery, and answers to any questions you may have.
CareCredit is a credit card issued exclusively for use in paying for your health care expenses. You can apply for a CareCredit card to cover the facility portion of your bill at participating surgical facilities. Depending on the cost of your procedure and the options offered at your surgical facility, you may choose between 6 and 12 month special financing options on qualifying purchases of $200 or more.*.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item.

My husband had 3 neck surgeries here almost a year ago. The first 2 were exactly the same. Someone in the billing department decided to change the codes on the 2nd surgery, were they in watching the surgery? Not at all. Insurance was billed double. I have called Golden Ridge over 15 times trying to get this straightened out. Each time I get a different response.

We were forced to pay our portion up front on all three occasions. They tried to rebill the insurance company but those claims are being denied as duplicate claims. No one ever calls back to keep us updated. The bills from the doctor at Panorama are all the same, very consistent, why are Golden Ridges not the same? This could all have been avoided if the clerk in billing had not changed the codes and billed insurance double the amount.

I had a wonderful experience here. They were quick and efficient. Every nurse that helped with my care was kind and compassionate. Everyone made sure all my questions were answered and they made sure I was comfortable with everything that was happening. Having to get surgery is a giant bummer but they made it as easy as they could for me.

Have never had a medical facility I would recommend to people before, this is a first. When my partner came out of surgery in 10/10 pain, nurses Karen & Janet did everything they could to help, and when that didn't do the trick, anesthesiologist Dr Cohen came back to the facility after having left for the night to administer more numbing medicine.

They refused to let my partner leave in pain. And this was all after my partner's surgery got pushed forward six days because they suddenly had an opening! Would highly recommend going here for your surgery.

0/10 WOULD NEVER GO BACK, EVER. This place is a nightmare. They don't have any concern for the patient's comfort or situation. They OVER CHARGE you, and then are extremely rude to you when you try deal with it. They don't seem to care that working people have to take time off of work and rearrange their lives to make it to the appointments, I have been made to wait for HOURS, and so was the person that was waiting to drive me home.

This place does not care about you, at all. They only want your money and will do whatever it takes to get it. That being said, I do like my doctor, I just wish they didn't use Golden Ridge to see patients.

I didn't end up having my surgery here because the reviews were so sketch. In our broken healthcare system the only little power you have is the power of where your healthcare dollars go and I didn't want this place getting mine. Seems like they care zero about patient experience or satisfaction and in this current private healthcare system that's exactly what they're supposed to be good at!

I didn't have a lot of interaction with this facility but the little I did have was terrible: a nurse sent me repeat emails that literally began with "ASAP.fill out this paperwork." If I were receiving money from some charity I would still think that was a pretty rude way to start a correspondence or relationship. But instead I was about to give this place a couple thousand dollars.and the best customer service they could muster in their email was to literally open with "ASAP". Nah. Demand better. I would have rated GOLDEN RIDGE ORTHO CENTER higher but 5 stars is all allowed! I went for elbow surgery by Dr. Lidia of PANORAMA ORTHOPEDIC AND SPINE which is co-located here. I checked in, answering the standard COVID-19 questions before entering. As soon as I went in, I was greeted warmly and given a few papers to sign in person. They send you a link prior to your appointment so you can submit all other info.

At my scheduled time, I was taken back and prepped for surgery. The ENTIRE staff is super attentive and helpful! My case nurse (not sure of her actual title) made sure I understood everything and explained how the day would proceed. After my surgery (which went perfectly. so they tell me), I was monitored and checked on continuously while I recovered.

When I was ready for discharge, they helped me into a wheelchair and brought me out to my ride who they had called ahead of time to update with my expected discharge time. They are EXTREMELY thorough and professional! I hope I never need another operation but if I do, I would ALWAYS choose GOLDEN RIDGE if possible.

Had two surgeries and left both of them ***WITH A TREATMENT RESISTANT INFECTION*** Many rounds of antibiotics made me very sick. I need another surgery and will not return here. The actual work done by the doctors is excellent, but the facility itself feels like a cattle chute. Also. My insurance is excellent. I was billed $2132 more than my deductible, and after several long phone calls I was told that it was a mistake. Two years later the bill has resurfaced. I can't get hold of a real person. I am a single mom on disability and this is a huge chunk of my income to make mistakes with.

Surgery & Medical Care is 5 stars. Billing is a disaster, 0 stars. Received surgery at Golden Ridge in February. Paid the amount asked which included my portion of the surgery + anesthesia. Unfortunately the anesthesia billing is completely separate, resulting in me overpaying by approximately $1250. I contacted Golden Ridge in April and was told I would be issued a refund for the $1250.

I had already paid the anesthesia separately as required (and received a 20% discount for paying in full). It is now September 10th, and after at least 15 phone calls during each of which I was assured the refund was being 'processed', I have still received nothing. I suspect but have not yet confirmed that my wife will be owed a similar refund due to overpayment for her surgery. Not only is billing a disaster, but I really wonder how many hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars in patients' money they are holding.

The staff and surgeons are amazing! With my field I have been around surgeons for many years and have not been able to say much positive about them, mostly because of their egos. But I have to say that this group has been nothing but outstanding from their bedside manners, answering any question I have had and believe it or not - a great sense of humor!

The facility is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The only reason that I did not give them a 5 star is because of their billing dept. They called me the day before to request payment of this surgery. I have NEVER had to pay before a procedure and I worked medical insurance for over 13 years so I know how this works! This makes it seem like they are only in it for the money.

If I was still in this industry I would be pulling their contract to review if this was posted in the contract to get the money up front and if is wasn't, their contracting rep would be contacting them asap. Most people do not have this especially the day before and their idea of payment plans are sub par at best. I know for a fact that I have several claims going through now b/c of my medical issue and I for one do not want to have to request a refund if due b/c of them demanding payment up front.

Back to the positive - their Dr's and nurses are seriously the best in all areas which made me confident in the procedure that was to be done and I feel that made all the difference in how the surgery went. Very impressed guys, keep it up!

I have given this place so many chances with trying to return phone calls. They are absolutely terrible. I have had nothing but problems since the day I started the process to have surgery with them. They do not call you to let you know anything about your situation or what is needed. I called a week before my surgery to find out when I might be having surgery and was told that I need to get a pre-op physical before the surgery. Trying to get into my primary doctor to have that done was very difficult.

I got the physical done and my doctor faxed everything over they asked for. I gave it couple days and never heard from anyone. I called to find out if the paper work was received and if I was cleared for surgery. They said yea we have the paperwork but haven't looked through it yet. We will be in touch. I finally got a phone call to schedule surgery and move forward.

The day before surgery, I get a phone call from someone in the billing department saying I needed to pay $1200 before the surgery. I couldn't believe it! I have never had to pay for something up front when it comes to medical expenses. MRIs, CAT scans, etc. all were billed to insurance and then I received a bill in the mail. I told them I wouldn't be able to pay that amount upfront.

I told them to cancel my surgery. They asked if I could pay half upfront. Again, I wasn't expecting to pay anything and it was 2 weeks before Christmas. We finally came to an agreement with what to pay the day of surgery and then set up a payment plan. Surgery came and I had to wait over an hour after my scheduled surgery. I waited 3 hours before being brought back for surgery.

Very frustrating when that happens. A month later I found out that the surgery was going to be cheaper then originally expected so my payments would be less then what was discussed. They never fixed that in their system and charged me the full amount. I have been trying to get a refund for over 2.5 weeks now. They do not return phone calls. The billing voicemail box is full to where you can't even leave messages.

The "office manager" never returns a call when I am told she will. This place will never see business from me again. I will never recommend them to anyone. They are a terrible company, with no customer service skills what so ever. Very very disappointed.
