The team has been on top of everything. All I can say is thank you for the superb attention you have given my spouse and myself. I am glad with the perfect care and concern of the whole team and physicians. A great experience considering what was being done- Informative as to what was going on- took the time to consider my wife's concerns before the procedure.

UPDATE: I would give it negative stars if I could. The way the staff treated me - after I was accosted by Dr. Moffitt and accused of not taking tests when the results were sitting in his inbox - and the way that Farra spoke to my Home Health Nurse clearly shows the type of patient services Granite Peaks has - NONE. You better do what your doctor says and not ask any questions or for clarification otherwise, you will be "fired" as a patient.

I have Long COVID that is especially affecting my Gastro system because of my autoimmune disease and Dr. Moffitt told me I knew more about Long COVID than he did but then proceeded to take the easy way out and blame it on me than try and help me find some answers. Or at least be humble enough to say "I am not sure, let us find someone who has more knowledge says" since he is just a PA.

The office manager who asked me to call to "help" me was also rude and accusatory. Dr. Moffitt also never called me to let me know that I had irregular lab results and if I had not looked at them online then who knows how long I would struggle for Sapovirus. He is also now refusing to treat or help me anymore and he knew that I am between PCP's he was my main contact - hopefully, I do not die before I can find someone to help me.

If you want help and to not be berated and lied to by your doctor then I definitely DO NOT SUGGEST going to see Scott Moffitt. He treated me like I was a criminal and doing bad things and not doing what he asked when it was just slow on his side to come through. I will be looking for a new Gastro as it seems that Dr. Moffitt would rather me die of dehydration than help me.

They treated my sister as her life was disposable and she is struggling with Long COVID that is especially affecting her Gastro system and she cannot eat or drink anything. He held the IV fluids she needs to survive over her head and accused her of not taking tests he ordered, when the results were waiting in his inbox - my wife read the results over a week before they called to give her the news and tell her they would not help her anymore.

She was prescribed medications by these doctors and was supposed to have follow-ups to check her progress. Then Dr. Moffitt got his ego hurt because she did not take his abuse and the holding fluids over her head and her case is complicated, he just cut her out and left her to die. My 3-year-old nephew deserves to have his mom in his life and not just watch her waste away in her bed.

Granite Peaks Gastroenterology may be a mediocre facility if you are solely looking for preventative and basic care, such as colonoscopies. However, if you are in pain and dealing with any type of actual medical problem, this place should be completely avoided. Rachel Hansen, the PA for Granite Peaks Gastroenterology initially appeared to care about my aging mother's medical condition. Unfortunately, after ordering some advanced tests, her office completely dropped the ball on my mother's case.

The medical assistant never returned any of our calls on numerous occasions. At our follow-up appointment, my mother's condition had worsened. We had been in and out of hospitals and Instacare facilities. My mother had even called their office on two separate occasions in horrific pain begging for help, and both messages were completely ignored. At our follow up appointment, I addressed these issues, along with the fact that the tests ordered were not completed because the facilities in which they were ordered no longer performed the tests, and once again, our calls to inform the medical assistant were disregarded. Rachel became very defensive, and admitted that her medical assistant had quit-which certainly isn't the patient's problem.

She then proceeded to tell me and my mother that she couldn't help us, and told us to 'get another doctor'. Not only did she charge my mother's insurance almost $600. for the unnecessary visit that day (which is completely unethical), she didn't help my mother at ALL. To add insult to injury, Rachel Hansen sent my mother a certified letter relinquishing her care.

When I called to dispute the outrageous charges, the office said they would address the issue with the supervisor and "call us back". I have yet to receive a callback. I guess they figure it's no sweat off of our back because the insurance will cover the cost. That is borderline insurance fraud. Rachel Hansen even lied on my mother's medical records. The practices of this office are completely shady and unethical. The PA is inept, and acts like she cares-but her actions prove otherwise. Shame on you Rachel Hansen!

I know how our medical insurance works and how it covers medical costs - I do my research. The office said they verified our insurance and we had to pay all today - February 18, 2022. I explained my insurance coverage for this visit was $25 co-pay only but the front desk person made me feel stupid. I told them we were paying with our FSA and it would be a hassle about the refund.

They did not seem to care. We walked away with only a simple receipt that we had paid $152.45 - no explanation of services. My FSA requires a verification of services to verify the $152.45 charge. I submitted to FSA the receipt of payment we had received from Granite Peaks on the day of service. FSA rejected that type of verification. We had not received a invoice for the services from Granite Peaks on 2/18/2022.

I had waited for a proper invoice from Granite Peaks, it did not come. Finally after 2 emails from FSA requiring verification and no invoice from Granite Peaks, I called Granite Peaks today. Granite Peak's billing told me we had a $127.45 refund -just like I had told them 'a hassle'. Granite Peaks as of today 3/29/2022 has not refunded our FSA card.

This is why I gave Granite Peak 1-star: -Quick to take my money -Poor on researching insurances -Poor on sending a timely invoice -Poor on returning a refund - they knew about the refund 3/9/2022

I was so frustrated waiting for about a week to be told if they'd been able to procure test results that had been done 8 months ago. I was told to contact my primary care physician (who hadn't ordered the test by the way). I had to explain to the person calling me they had ordered a series of 4 or 5 tests - all came back but 1 so it didn't make sense to call my primary care physician, who had no business with the test ordered by granite peaks.

This whole ordeal went on for a week and finally someone called and said that they'd found the test but i have to go see a different specialist anyway. Just really really hard to get a hold of someone internally to address your needs

I had talked to them many times to make sure that my insurance covers the procedures. I talked to three different people and they said yes, so I scheduled my appointment. They tell me the doctor had an emergency and needed to leave so I had to reschedule. Next thing you know I get the full amount mailed to me with no explanation and be told something differently on the phone.

I sent them everything they asked for by e-mail that they requested and then they never responded to me. Then they sent my bill to collections saying it has been passed time when they didn't even care to look over my case and didn't even care to get back to me like they said they would. Paying thousands for being told something I already know and its not what I came for, it was all a waste. Worst experience, go to someone who will actually care to listen to you.

I was hopeful that my condition with hemorrhoids would improve, but unfortunately only internal hemorrhoids can be treated at this clinic and I feel there was no improvement after three expensive treatments. Dr. Weaver is a wonderful doc, very clear regarding the procedures, but again, the "services rendered " as billing called it, was just what we can expect, "a practice ".

What made matters even worse was that they didn't want me to come for my third treatment until I paid an additional amount not paid by insurance. I went ahead and paid that plus the $90 follow-up fee. Apparently, there is a billing and collection manager named Shauna who instructs employees there to be somewhat underhanded and ask to keep the debit card " so we can settle up more easily at the end of the consult/procedure". Unfortunately another $300 was charged on my card before they handed me back the card.without any advance notice signature or authorization. I was quite stunned.

0 STARS! DO NOT COME HERE! STAFF ARE THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCOMPETENT PEOPLE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. Extremely overpriced, complete waste of money. I have never seen medical staff that were so completely clueless before. When I told them how to do their job right, due to their complete incompetence, they kicked me out.

Things went well until after surgery. Communication dropped off entirely. Their staff didn't read any of the patient notes and responded to my surgery by calling in the same prescription I had originaly told them wasn't working and the entire reason for getting the surgery. No follow up calls. No responses to the messages on the patient portal. Still waiting weeks after surgery for a referral for another study.

Can't seem to get ahold of anyone via phone because they never answer or always busy. Never felt more like cattle to surgery so they can forget about you. Definitely will never be back or recommend. Edit- communication has since improved, and they did follow through after the initial bad review. Final edit-communication dropped back off. I was trying to get ahold of them consistently. I've never had to try so hard at a clinic to do all my own follow up and pull the process along.

The facility was very clean. Scott was very thorough and kind even when the subject was uncomfortable. He and his nurse, Amy, were amazing! They walked me through what would happen step by step. Scott even showed me pictures of what was happening. I am so thankful a friend recommended them.
