Services
Cancer is a scary disease. One of the most common cancers found in women is cervical cancer; however, cervical cancer can fortunately be prevented. The best way to prevent cervical cancer is to find out if you have a virus called the human papillomavirus, or HPV, as certain "high-risk" types of HPV are now known to cause most cases of cervical cancer.
Here at Greenbrier Obstetrics and Gynecology we offer many types of office visits such as annual check ups, gynecological problems, and consultations for reasons such as menstrual disorders, infertility, birth control, and for female reproductive system abnormalities. Your physician or nurse practitioner will accommodate your annual exam to your current life stage and your medical history/needs.
More than 50% of post menopausal women suffer from changes in their gynecological health. Women who have had hysterectomies or survived breast cancer can find themselves suffering from the discomforts of vaginal itching, burning, dryness, painful urination or painful intercourse. These symptoms are unpleasant and can effect their quality of life.
Short for human papillomavirus, HPV is a common virus that can afflict both males and females. In fact, it's so common that previous estimates have stated that 9 out of every 10 people get HPV at some point in their lives. High-risk types of HPV that cause cervical cancer are spread through sex or intimate skin-to-skin contact.

I've been going here over 10 years and have never once experienced the service that is expected of an ob. You are never seen on time, one time it was two hours late. The turnover for nurses is atrocious and you never see the same one twice. They even took my blood pressure incorrectly and then charged me another entire appointment to recheck it. I'm done and wish for everyone to stay far away.

I'm really sad about all the negative reviews. I've been going to Dr. Ferebee since September 2021 after switching from EVMS. I've seen the same staff and the same doc every time! There's a nursing shortage. so yes, the wait time may be slightly longer than a few years ago. If your schedule is flexible, you can ask for a day that looks less busy. I'm always treated with respect and I honestly enjoy all of the staff!

Whenever I call. They call me back or the on call doc calls me back. When I needed an induction, Dr. Ferebee was calling the hospital and making sure I got a bed. Dr. W was great too when I was PP and about to leave the hospital. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will say, the ultrasound lacked, but the usual tech had broken her leg and they had to use a different lady I believe.

If you want a personable doctor who will take the time to sit and answer all your questions and concerns. Dr. Ferebee always made me feel like she had time for it and always reassured me. 10/10.

If you like being late to your appointment by at least a half an hour minimum then this is your place! I've NEVER had an appointment that was on time or even CLOSE and they are labeled as a "specialty" and not a gyno so there's a copay unlike most gynecologist's. Don't go here, please. Just don't.

I've been going to Greenbrier OBGYN for years and never had any issue. The Doctors and staff are good, nice and professional.

Long wait times but Dr. Whitted is worth it. I couldn't imagine seeing another OBGYN. On my third pregnancy with Dr. Whitted as my doctor. Wouldn't trade him for the world. The new office also seems to be a little less busy.

Unprofessional always a long wait my appointment was scheduled for 8:40 and no nurses came in until 9 waited over an hour just for a depo shot. Doctor Whitted is good but the schedulers and nurse are horrible

I've been experiencing a lot of pain and cramping lately and everytime I call they never connect me to dr. Ferebee. They just keep me on hold forever and sometimes it feels like they forget that I'm on hold. They say "one moment let me finish checking this patient out" it doesn't take 30 minutes to check a patient out. I need to know if I should be going to the hospital or not.

And there's always a lot of miscommunication with this practice and it gets so frustrating, one person says one thing and okays it then the other one says a different thing. They can't ever be straight coward. Dr. Ferebee is great, the staff is what's terrible

If I could give zero stars I would. Stir clear of this practice long wait times, unprofessional staff, HIPPA violations. I would NEVER recommend this place. Ultrasound tech is also horrible and promotes her own business instead of giving proper ultrasounds. Made the end of my pregnancy very stressful and thankfully ended up switching OB's but ladies please don yourself a favor and DO NOT go to this practice save yourself the heartache.

If you are looking for doctors of color, doctors that are knowledgeable, and doctors that will treat you with respect and kindness.this is the place. I can't believe some of the reviews I have read. Yes, sometimes the wait can be long but Dr. Ferebee is worth it. All of my experiences have been uber-pleasant at Greenbriar OB.

Well Dr. W is nice but forgetful maybe? Not the problem though. The lady that's supposed to check you in is rude and not at all welcoming, I felt like I was bothering her or something. Obviously due to covid, I couldn't have my husband and first time dad come in even for my ultrasound. Rules are rules but That for me was painful. But what really added insult to injury was how rude, impatient, disconnected, lazy, and all around bad the ultrasound technician was.

She alone is why I will not come back. She was in such a rush she didn't even speak for the firs 5 min she was measuring and clicking, made me really nervous. I had to ask her for a picture! She would not even let me hear the heartbeat because "there wasn't time"!?!?! Unreal. The thought of going back for my next ultrasound with her makes me feel sick. so I'll have to change dr.

My appointment is at 9am and I don't see the doctor until a hour later. The lady at the front seat will also talk loud when telling you about payments. I'm only here because I wanted to see Dr. Ferebee. The staff is nice nasty and misinformed on certain things.

I have been seeing Dr. Whitted for 26 years. he is hands down the best OB/GYN doctor i have ever had. I moved to RIchmond for several years and had some female issues that the doctors there did nothing about. MOved back here and Dr. Whitted ran some tests that they did not and was able to provide answers and solutions. he is always there when i need him. HIs bedside manner is IMPECCABLE. I cannot give enough praise for the wonderful Doctor he is
