Worst office manager ever. Mike Hughes is disrespectful, degrading, and sexist. Mount Carmel and the physicians should be ashamed of themselves for keeping him employed with them for so long after so many complaints.

Drs. Here are great. Using my chart app is best way to get ahold of your Dr. I see Dr. Amendola, and he is great. Office staff and nurses have been good to me as well. They normally get you in fast also. Glad I chose this office for my health care. Thanks to all the staff.

Never thought I'd have to write a review on a doctors office but DO NOT BOTHER COMING HERE. Absolutely totally unprofessional staff. I called about my medical issues over 4 months ago, in fact I called twice, they attempted to call back, I reach out and asked them to call me again since I missed their call, they ignored me. I called them 3 days ago from this point, again they ignored me.

They CHANGED MY MEDICATION without consulting me! They also switched my dosage to a much higher amount which gave me horrible panic attacks and just gave a bad reaction overall. When I was given my medication, my doctor did not give me any sort of advice or possible side affects on them. I have told him several times about my severe anxiety and depression, did not even care and sent me on my way, literally took none of my issues seriously.

The first time I ever went, I had to get blood work done, they took 3 MONTHS TO GET RESULTS! They somehow didn't get all the results either! The nurse was super rude on top of it, not going to get into that because it was very personal but I do not like them. This is honestly the worst experience I ever had with a doctors office. I will be going elsewhere.

I've been a patient of this practice for more years than I care to think about. I have always found the office staff to be extremely professional, and my wait time minimal. I frequently arrive for my appointment a bit ahead of time and I'm nearly always seen at or before the scheduled time. Only upon rare occasions have I had to wait past my appointment time. Getting an appointment has never been a problem.

If my doctor, Dr. Runser, is not available (day off or out of office) I am always offered an appointment with one of the other doctors or the nurse practitioner - generally for the same day. Every practitioner I have seen has always listened carefully and asked appropriate questions to arrive at the best plan of care for me. I have every confidence in this practice and highly recommend them.

I've been a patient at GCFH for 10 years and my MD moved out of state in December. I called to make an appointment in January for a yearly physical and they told me it would be over a year to see a new MD. It seems to me that they should make an attempt to transition existing patients of the practice of many years to a new MD so that they will still have a primary care physician rather than treating them the same way as a new patient off the street asking for an appointment. Now, being elderly, I will need to find a new practice and provider but I'm sure will not be soon either.

***Edit*** Nearly two years ago, I left a 1* review for this practice. At that time, it was deserved. The front desk was rude and incompetent. Prescriptions took a long time to fill. However, they've really, really improved the way they do things. They now have new front desk staff, and the prescriptions are streamlined and always sent right away.

I've always liked Dr. Stokes, and now that the rest of the office is up-to-date with the way they do things, I have no complaints. I have no complaints and they've earned this 5* review. I am moving to another state soon, and I hope I find a practice and doctor as great as GCFH has been over the past two years.

***WARNING*** I think it speaks volumes that there are so many bad reviews on here about how bad this office is. I wish I had read them before they messed up my prescription and caused me to have a mental breakdown. No care, no compassion from the nurse. CVS was more compassionate and helped me get a supply of my prescription that I had to pay out of pocket for (to last until I can get to my appointment with my new doctor.) The very same nurse messed up my daughter's prescription just a month before mine. Dr. Harper was great.

I only got to see him once before I had issues with his nurse causing me to get so frustrated that I needed to find another doctor. The nurse lied 4 times to me in what seemed like an attempt to cover her mistake up. It doesn't matter how good the doctor is if the nurse is the one handling your prescriptions and the only one you are able to talk to.

The nurse told me I could not talk to my doctor when I asked to speak with him to let him know what was happening in his absence. She told me she had already spoken to him. I found out later she never did and he didn't even get to review my chart. This place is dangerous. DO NOT put your health in the hands of a lying nurse that only cares about herself.

I've already filled out the complaint form, but I doubt it will matter for much since her manager defended her reckless behavior when my husband called them back. This is a whole bigger problem than filling out a form. ***WARNING***

We have been using this practice for over five years now. My wife and I both see Dr. Stokes. She is wonderful. She listens to us; makes suggestions; and is very thorough. I am surprised at all the complaints about this practice. We have never had issues with bad attitudes from any of the staff. Everyone has been very helpful. I was especially surprised to hear complaints about Dr. Stokes. My wife and I have both found her to be a warm, caring person. If you are in the Grove City area, we would highly recommend this practice for your health needs.

No Second Opinions allowed! I stopped in this office today to schedule an appointment as a new patients. When she looked at my insurance information she said you were here 1 time in 2011. I honestly only have a vague recollection of being there before. The receptionist made an appointment for me for tomorrow. I am thinking this is great, I have been trying to find a doctor in the area that didn't take months to get into.

I asked her if she would like for me to get my records transferred from my previous doctor. She said you have seen another doctor since you were here last. I said yes and I can get the records if you need them. She said this is a problem. She left the desk and went to speak to her supervisor. She came back and said that it is their office policy that once you have been there if you see another doctor you can not come back to the office, and canceled my appointment for tomorrow. Wow, if you are so insecure in your abilities to treat patients that they can not see any other doctors after being seen at your practice there might be a problem. I should have read these reviews before going there today, sounds like I might have just dodged a bullet.

I have been a patient of Dr. Harper's since the late 1990's and would never consider seeing anyone else. He knows everything about me and my medical history and I would (obviously) trust him with my life. The receptionists leave a little to be desired and the waiting time is sometimes a little longer than I'd like, but the medical assistants/ lab techs are great and very sweet. All in all, happy with my care at this facility.
