Went to Gwinnett clinic for a physical and some blood work. I was informed the results would take 3-5 business days after 14 days and over 10 calls to the office they hung up on me multiple times said they would return my calls and never did made me download an app witch still didn't give me my results I had to call them 5 times In 1 day and get hung up on 3 times to finally get my results and they were still more concerned about making another appointment than giving my results then promptly hung up in my face after giving me the results. I would NEVER go here or suggest anyone spend there money or time here. Terrible customer experience.

They have quite the racket going on Covid testing. Charge a FULL office visit for the test and ANOTHER FULL office visit for a brief follow up PHONE CALL! On top of which both "visits" were nearly an HOUR AFTER the appointment time. I'm looking for a new PCP!

I was seen in the Buford/Sugar Hill office and after waiting for 50 minutes (with an appointment) the doctor talked to me for about 2.5 minutes. Dr Shveta Raju expedited me to a specialist without even looking at the problem. This is not the first time she has done this, she is super quick to get you out of there so that she can stay and socialize with the nurses at the front.

I am definitely switching PCP. They just want to see as many people as possible so that they can file their claims with the insurance and get their money without even thinking about the patient and their needs. They don't ask any questions, as soon as you tell them you are there with a problem they tell you to walk with them to the front to schedule an appointment with a specialist from their other locations. This place is a joke!

The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Goodjoin is great at communicating and listening and seems to really care about his patients. This particular review is regarding the primary clinic located on the 3rd floor in between the 2 elevators. I have not been able to experience any other services outside offered inside of this building to address my experience on that, so keep that separate.

I have had trouble with getting a referral to specialist doctors outside of primary care that is compatible with my insurance, which is off putting because one of the reasons that drew me to switch doctor offices was to have more of a one stop shop experience instead of having everything outsourced. Sounds like I may need to look into Kaiser permanente?! Anywho, my overall experience during my visits are pleasant nonetheless and they do COVID tests before you are seen by the doctor where you sit in a room in isolation after having your vitals checked while you wait about 15 minutes for COVID test results.

This is pretty convenient. All staff and patients must wear a mask in the building and office. They offer sanitizer in the lobby and throughout the office and rooms. Very clean facility in and out. They are also conveniently located right outside of Northside Hospital, in case of emergencies, that's comforting.

Gwinnett Clinic in Lawrenceville has the worst "customer service" I have EVER experienced from a doctors office. First of who doesn't have EMR's (electronic medical records) in 2021? They don't. For a medical group with 19 different locations they all should have access to my chart to avoid miscommunications. And being told "your chart is at a different location" of which I never even requested to be transferred in the first place.

As of today I have now made a total of FIVE prescription refill requests for a non controlled medication since the beginning of January and it is now February 1st and the medication STILL has not been sent to the pharmacy. Good thing it's not a medication to keep me alive or I'd be dead by now. I was referred to a specialist by them and my records were never sent to the specialist.

I went to my appointment with the specialist only to pay a copay and just sit there with no answers all because my records were not sent to the specialist that THEY referred me to. So I had to go pick up a disk of an ultrasound of my thyroid. A DISK! Who uses disks anymore? Again! This is 2021. Not 2001. They seriously need to get with the program!

After finally getting the dinosaur (aka: disk) since Gwinnett Clinics doesn't know how to email, I had to take it to my specialist myself to deliver it by hand. Only to find out since the specialist does have EMR's since it's 2021 they have no way to read a dinosaur (aka: disk). So then instead of having to pay my deductible again for another ultrasound with a dr who actually has EMR's I called Gwinnett Clinics to have my office visit notes faxed to my specialist OVER A WEEK AGO!

I have had to make 2 other calls to get my office notes faxed only for them to STILL not have sent the office notes to my specialist. I have nodules on my thyroid so for all I know I could be dying of thyroid cancer and still don't have a diagnosis or a plan for my thyroid treatment all because Gwinnett Clinics does not know how to properly run a medical practice!

I STRONGLY suggest that you DO NOT use Gwinnett Clinics because if you do choose to go there for your PCP, you are LITERALLY putting your life in your own hands by going to this joke of a medical practice.

I've used 4 of the Gwinnett Clinic locations over the past 20 years. I currently use the Snellville or Suwanee locations. The doctors in this group have taken great care of me over the years. I'm currently in my late 60's and see Dr. Deep Shah or Dr. Gunadeva. I love their friendly staff and personal level of care. If I'm sick, they take walk ins so I never have to suffer for days waiting for an appointment. They have never disappointed me.

I find Gwinnett Clinic to be absolutely excellent in treating their patients. I have a patient with them since 2005. To me that proves my statement. The doctors listen attentively and provide the best remedy for almost every ailment. They do care.

My appointment was at 4:30 with the PA as Dr. Ram is out of town. I only need a blood draw to refill a prescription. I arrive at 4:15. I am not taken in to the back until 5:00. I wait in the room for 20 minutes for Bharti to arrive to do a blood draw. She NEVER puts gloves on from the moment she walks in to the room until the moment she leaves. After putting rubber on my upper arm, she flicks my elbow inside, opens alcohol wipe and dabs ONE time my elbow, pushes down on the vein with her bare finger, sticks needle in where she had just touched, folds gauze in half in bare hand and places on my skin where needle was removed.

Then the PA comes in a minute later and literally is in there 3-4 minutes and I am done. She asks me a couple questions, tells me she will send my script and listens to my lungs. This is not the first time I have been treated so poorly by this office, that my time is not seen as valuable, but they get their money up front. I had an ultrasound ordered by Dr. Armstrong done in their offices last year.

The technician literally Googled what to do before doing the ultrasound, I watched her. I don't think she knew what to do with 'coccyx'. Then I NEVER was called about or mailed the results. But, yet again, they made sure to have me pay the hundreds of dollars for the ultrasound. Needless to say I will be reporting Bharti to the medical board and already reported her to the PA.

I would give it NO STARS if I could. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY GOING HERE. The front office is beyond awful - unprofessional, lazy, rude and ignorant. It is also a racket - they constantly come up with new ways to charge you for things that should be covered (and were covered before). I was once told I would have to make an appointment and pay a co-pay just to receive my test results. RIDICULOUS! Foolishly, I gave them another chance.

I went in for my physical which should be 100% covered by my insurance but because I needed prescription refills I was forced to pay a co-pay for the visit in order to receive my prescriptions. This was not for a new condition or new medication - just to refill already prescribed prescriptions. I will NOT make the mistake of going again.

Please avoid this clinic if possible. The office is ran like a doctor's office from the 1950's. Everything is done by paper! Especially don't try and go to a different location as it's like you are a brand new patient. They don't even know you exist. I'm not sure there is a computer in the whole operation. Many doctors, nurses and front office are rude.

Also they allow walk-ins which is great, but I've noticed that even if you have an appointment, a walk-in may get called in before you. They also will make you pay more than what you owe, and never give back refunds.

UPDATE-- I went in for a stress test (2nd floor) and the doctor/specialist (he did some kind of testing) in this office was surfing the internet for the ENTIRE FOUR HOURS THAT I SAT IN THE WAITING ROOM! I could hear the videos he was watching. Must be nice.

After 10-plus years of existing (I'd hardly call it living) with debilitating chronic headaches, Dr. Raju properly diagnosed them, properly prescribed treatment and has them under control. This is after countless other doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists, acupuncturist, snake-oil peddlers - anyone else claiming they had something that would cure me got a shot at helping me.

To say Dr. Raju has given me my life back would not be overstating it. I am forever indebted to him. He is so incredibly patient and kind as well. I only regret it took me so long to find him.

Gwinnett Clinic @ 3068 Old Norcross in Duluth is AWESOME! Very professional and friendly staff. Nurse John is top notch. Also, Dr. Gabriel Nguena is the Dr. I recommend. He has been my Dr. for several years now. He really takes time to listen and then explain his treatment plan. I am one who is very particular about my medical care, and I have to say I am extremely pleased with every part of my care!

Worst run clinic! Completely unorganized and I have never had an appointment where I did not wait for at least an hour or more every time. Today I had an appointment at 11. Got here at at 10:50. They took back people that came after me.and even a guy who was half an hour LATE for his appointment was taken back before me! It's been hour and half and I'm still waiting. I'm getting a new doctor!

Very disappointed. I usually go to Duluth location which is much smaller and have never had an issue. However this time I went to Lawrenceville location and while my doctor was great the customer service was terrible. They never sent my e prescription to my pharmacy when they said they would and I explained my urgency that it had to be sent in because it had to count as a 2017 expense so that I would not lose out on the money I had in my HRA account.

I kept on calling and calling and everytime they treated me like I was bothering them and I could never get in touch with the nurse it kept on going to a recording that wouldn't allow me to leave a voicemail. The front desk pretty much said oh well nothing I can do and of course my eprescription never arrived in time. It felt like I was dealing with the DMV rather than my primary care doctor.

After this visit I'm changing primary care physicians. Its ridiculous the lack of customer care this whole chain provides. it doesn't matter what location. I had a referral for the radiology department at the main location. When I approached the front window I was asked rudely, as I was providing my referral documentation, if I had an appointment, I said yes and She asked again. today?

Okay lady if you would bother looking at my paper work you would clearly see I have an appointment. I was then asked for my id and insurance card, well its 2017 I don't carry a paper insurance card anymore so I politely asked if she show her my card on my phone she said no I need to make a copy so I asked if she can check my medical record for this information.

She again rudely asked if I ever been to this location and I advised no but I go to Duluth location(again listed on my referral) she stated that didn't matter she needs it for this location and dept. Mind you I work in the medical records field and business healthcare it's beyond crazy that a chain clinic wouldn't have the ability to search their system for patient information across all their locations.

I asked to fax the information from my phone and sat down. About 10 mins later I was called back to the window and was given my id back when I asked if the insurance information came through via fax, the lady was like no but it doesn't matter you have an order. Okayyyy so wth was up the rude attitude for previously?!? I swear if I get some ridiculous bill later or any funny business with my insurance claim it's going to a very unpleasant time for Gwinnett Clinic!

I can't speak for the other specialties here, but Dr. Byol Shin with asthma, allergy, and immunology was wonderful and definitely doesn't deserve to suffer the terrible review of the clinic in general. This was my first time getting an allergy consultation and it was one of the most informative sessions I've ever had. The front desk lady was extremely nice and friendly, my nurse was so pleasant to talk to, and the doctor just seemed genuinely sympathetic and took his time to sit down with me and talk to me about my allergies and different things I could be doing.

I didn't feel rushed or jipped like a lot of other places but above all, the entire experience felt very organic and real. Like these r real people that are caring and nice. 100% recommend them and would come back in a flash!

I've been seeing Dr. Shin for years. He's a great doctor. He takes the time to sit down with you and explain your treatment plan and he actually listens to you when you have questions. Patsy in allergies is so sweet. She's always been courteous. I hope she sticks around for a long time!
