The medical staff in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology provides care and advice for women from puberty through adulthood. Our specialists help patients with family planning decisions, birth options and care for them during pregnancy, childbirth, and menopause. Our care team is here for all of your prenatal and gynecological care needs.
The Christie Clinic Department of Dermatology team evaluates and treat patients with skin conditions, growths and infections. Treatment plans may involve the use of medications, topic creams, surgery, or the use of laser and phototherapy treatments. Our providers use state-of-the-art technology to treat all conditions and diseases that affect the skin.
According to the American Diabetes Association, nearly 16 million people (5.9 percent of the United States population) have diabetes. Neuropathy (nervous system damage) affects two-thirds of diabetics and is a serious complication that can cause diabetics to lose feeling in their feet or, at its most extreme, amputation.
Christie Clinic is excited to offer a new program called Christie Clinic CareSignal. This is a free service that allows patients to easily communicate their health concerns with their provider and care team! This program allows patients to monitor any of these conditions at home with a simple response to a text message or an automated phone call, a few times each week.

The dermatology department has really gone downhill the past few years. They don't seem to have any sort of internal communication so you have to explain your whole story to everyone you speak with. If you can deal with that be prepared to have the doctor cancel your appointment last minute and then not fill your prescription because it's been too long since they've seen you.

The worst patient satisfaction I have ever experienced within a healthcare system. They just want to charge your insurance and waste the patient's time and money.

It was my first time in the Christie Clinic. I came from Bloomington, IL for Moh's surgery on a basal cell carcinoma on my face. I was impressed by the professionalism and efficiency of the girl who took my information and checked me in. I did have to wait for quite awhile, but in all fairness, there were many people there doing the same thing as me, and I had arrived quite early.

The procedure requires waiting, anyway, so I came prepared. When I did get in, I was again impressed with Dr. Youse and his staff. They were all friendly and personable, and he was not only easy to talk to, he was quick and very adept at his work, just as I have come to expect from a Moh's surgeon. All in all, it was an outstanding experience, in spite of the circumstances.

My husband reached there at 2 for a 2:15 appointment. The staff at the registration desk were unable to find his past records and when they finally did it was 2:45 and then we waited till 3:30 without seeing the doctor and left. This is a ridiculous wait and a waste of time. Couldn't they have let him see the doctor and then sorted out the paperwork?
