I believe the front office staff to be the best part about this office! I'm frustrated by the horrid comments. Linda is my absolute favorite person in That place and the Face of Hampden Medical! Give her a raise! I wish they would stop having such a turnover in mid level providers. The reason I haven't left the practice is because primary care, in general, in this state is awful. I can actually say that Hampden Medical does a better job than others getting you in for last minute acute visits.

Tried to schedule a well-visit for my child but was told they are not accepting new medicaid patients even after being assigned to my child by medicaid. This is apparently illegal.

I've been going here since Dr Hubbard and Cindy Porter were my Physicians. And then Jeff Hansen. They do a pretty god job there and are all good people. They've all taken pretty good care of me since I was 20 yrs old and thats 30 yrs now. Staff is always helpful.

They've been my primary care physicians for more than 10 years now. the physicians, PAs, and NPs take time to listen, and do a really good job overall. Also, being a multi-provider practice means sometimes if you have an unscheduled issue, you can get seen the same day.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I've been seeing Dr. Cooper for about 5 years now and she's the best. She is so smart and knows so much about the whole body. She is always able to help me feel better and get on the right path to feel better as soon as possible.

Arranged for a doctor's appointment and turned up there to find out they want my Social Security Number. This is not required by law and not sure what purpose it serves them to get patients personal details that are not required. Their only logical explanation was, they had done so for 11 years. There is no official box on their form that asks for it, the receptionist put an asterisk by pen and asked me to put the details there.

I provided my drivers license and company medical insurance and that was not good for them. They never told me when I made the appointment 5 weeks ago with Dr. Todd as he had some good reviews. I cancelled my appointment and left.

My Family has been going to Hampden Medical Group for 29 years. Dr. Hubbard was our Doc since I was four (I'm 33 now). Mom was diagnosed with early onset dementia about six years ago and Dr. Hubbard took the best care of her. I was really scared when Hubbard retired because how do you replace someone who helped us through the dementia and has known the whole family for 29 years?!? Well, Dr. Cooper is AMAZING!

She has definitely filled Dr. Hubbard's shoes for us. She talks to MOM even though Mom can't really advocate for herself, but she shows Mom respect and is patient. Although I haven't been seen for over five years Dr. Cooper also shows that she cares for me as a child of a dementia patient. Always asks ME how I'M doing on top of the wonderful care she gives Mom.

I have been in healthcare administration for 8 years, and have been to literally hundreds of visits to other Doctors with Mom, so I know how rare it is to have a Doc take their time. Mom has recently been having some sleep/behavioral issues at the Nursing Home and I left a voicemail for Dr. Cooper. She tried to get in touch with me THREE times after business hours to discuss options. Best. Primary. Care. Office. EVER! But specifically, Dr. Cooper -Dalal Yakhlef

Patient retention and patient experience is clearly NOT a priority. This front end staff is just awful. Looking over the negative reviews on google and on yelp, it is actually disheartening to see that many others have voiced the same complaint, yet absolutely nothing has changed with client experience. I expect that my doctor's office - which is a place I turn to at my most vulnerable, when I'm sick and need help- be a place where I feel cared for, listened to, understood, and important. Yet, this is literally the exact opposite of how the ladies at the front desk have made me feel.

I can understand that sometimes people have bad days and have tried not to put too much emphasis on interactions with the staff up front, but with my recent experience, I will be finding another provider. Overall, I would say that I have had decent experiences with the physicians, so it is unfortunate that their efforts have been overshadowed by the lack of customer service and professionalism of the front desk.

I have rarely had a good experience here. The doctors are friendly and have been helpful but are also quick to offer opiates for even a long lasting headache. The front desk staff is absolutely horrible and really do not care if you ever come back. We switched primary doctors today after I was hung up on for being a little frustrated about getting my prescription filled.

My frustration was due to a lack of action on their part for over a week. If you don't mind being belittled this is the place for you. I was a patient for 5 years and my wife for almost 15, mainly because it is hard to get into somewhere new. Once I found the chance I jumped on it. The fact that HMG has never made a change with their overall client experience goes to show you how much they really care.

If you have any other medical options stay away from this place. They are not compassionate and only in it for the money. I moved to another state after being unemployed for 6 months. I finally got another job but had to wait 30 days for my medical coverage to go into effect. Doctor Hubbard would not even give me an prescription for my Lisinopril to get me through till my new health benefits were active.

As you know your blood pressure can spike causing major issues. I was left a nasty refusal on my voicemail after pleading with them to help me. I receive better care from my vet for my dog. They can make some exceptions but because I was no longer going to be seen by them in the future they decided I no longer deserve their care. I would also like to mention that when I did visit the office the lady at the front desk is so rude you feel bad asking her questions.
