Have had the same opthalmologist for several years, and he's pretty straightforward about things, which I appreciate. Didn't go in for a while and now have a condition which needs surgery; however, no openings for a few months. Wish I could have gotten it done this year while my deductible was in force. Oh, well. I understand it's been a rough year with scheduling surgeries and so on. The staff are kind and knowledgeable.

My appointment was great and the wait time was very reasonable. My time in the clinic from check in to check out was smooth and comfortable. My eyes were dilated and a full refractory diabetes eye exam was done in one visit. I was very pleased with every staff member I encountered and will be a patient there as long as I live in Salem. 5 stars for a great visit and very professional exam by an outstanding ophthalmologist!

Having only one eye surgically corrected due to cataract problems, so far, I have experienced kindness, considerate care and respect especially in the face of my PTSD situation from the war in Vietnam. Since I have a major challenge with breathing, claustrophobia, and am extremely challenged to wear anything over my face due to my 'incident' in the Vietnam war, Eye Care Physicians & Surgeons have been considerate and made careful allowances for me to still get care. I am truly thankful.

I awoke with unexplained vision loss and my new eye dr referred me immediately to a retinal specialist. They were able to work me in same day with no notice, expressing care and concern for my vision. The staff were efficient & empathetic. The specialist was exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable. Going again for a follow up next week.

I like the people. They are very friendly and they make you feel comfortable. Any questions I might have are answered in a professional manner. I wouldn't dream of changing doctors. I am completely satisfied with Dr Nearing and his staff.

Everyone is extremely nice and helpful. Dr. Messenger takes his time to explain and answer my questions. I do not feel rushed. He's understanding and genuine.

The wife and I had been longtime patients with Betsy McDowell who is as tall as me at 6-2. Rebecca Chung would be easy to overlook in group, but she seems very competent and likeable. I think she is definitely a keeper.

COVID protocols clearly explained which included checking in in the parking lot, nurse coming to get me in the parking lot clearly explaining what she would do and the procedure the doctor would do as well as post op directions. She then walked me to my car when I was done. Excellent doctors and support staff

Excellent caring and capable culture, committed to serving customers above and beyond any other provider. I have experienced in 55 years. I live 2 hours away, and had a sudden eye problem that needed immediate attention. My local doctor said mid January was the earliest opening (5 months), Eye Care Physicians got me in same day and I had surgery within 7 hours of my initial call. Amazing and thank you.

I had cataract surgery. It went well the Doctor and the nurses were great. My biggest concern was the fact that my wife was told remain on site for the duration of the procedure. The parking lot has no shade and it was almost 100 degrees out and she had to stay outside in the car for over an hour in that heat. If I would have left a dog in the car for only 10 minutes in that heat I would still be in jail.
