This is the most comfortable, most attractive hospital I have experienced. Our mother received competent and kind care; the nurses and doctors were very caring, and articulated her condition so we all knew her diagnosis and prognosis. Our family talked privately in the beautiful solarium and shared dinner in The Gathering Place. This facility and its professionals went the extra mile to kindly support our mother and us in a very difficult time.

I went to the er on Monday night, for heartburn, pain in my stomach, vomiting, diahrrea. I was given some type of cocktail to help coat my stomach. It didnt do any good, i told the doctor and they didnt do anything. They also did blood work, I guess it was all normal. I know i may not have been urgent but I still deserve the care I should have received.
I left after 2 1/2 hours, still feeling as bad as i did when i walked in. I am now home with the pains still in my stomach and have no relief. I am very disappointed in the care I received tonight. I am hoping it isnt something more serious and i will not be coming back to this er anytime soon. Thank you

In the past I have had some disappointing visits at the ER, but this last visit for my Mother-in-law was a breath of fresh air. Kaitlin Reece was our attending PA, and I couldn't say better things about her. Her bedside manner, her ability to make my Mother-in-law feel more at ease, and the medical care and results we were bestowed upon were top notch! She went above and beyond. You need more like her!

Have been dealing with the pain clinic at regional for years now and not only are they professional but they treat pain first, which is what I believe they should do. A lot of places are afraid to treat pain because of what might happen with addiction, they forget what they are there to do. They keep a close eye out for signs of addiction while managing to treat pain. Also, all of the staff from the doctor, to the desk to nurses have gone above and beyond to make sure my meds are called in, at the right place and the right dosage.
I've even had a nurse call in and check to make sure something went through on her day off. Only issue I've ever had at the hospital is with the wound clinic but since that doctor retiring, I will be starting to move all my appointments back to Regional.

I appreciate the convenience of a well staffed, modern, and bright medical facility in rural Iowa. Currently with the Covid19 emergency affecting the nation, I'm reassured to find the facility, like I'd expect with any medical facility, is taking extra precautions for the safety of staff and patients. Upon entry a nurse will do a brief assessment with questions and take a temperature. Masks are required for patients and provided if you don't have one.
I received a fabric one to use and take home for future use. The waiting area for both check in and for waiting to be called to the clinic or lab have been rearranged to provide wide separation of chairs. No surprises here. The emergency procedures are in place and care continues.
