That front desk lady was so rude, no help whatsoever. same with the clinic. like i was talking to a wall to them. the little old lady at the door gets 5 stars though, she was great! but the people on the clock, i wouldn't give them my time every again. waste of time.

Visited the Urgent care while on vacation this summer. Our 7 year old was having symptoms of Strep Throat. He was given a Throat swab, a children's Tylenol, and a popsicle. 2 weeks later we received a bill for just under $600! That's correct, for a strep test. Talked to financial services.no help. Wrote letters. Was told to get on a payment plan. Robbery.

Had my first knee replacement surgery done a couple days ago by Dr. Brian Donahue and his PA Barbra Bowman, what a fantastic team and can't say enough good about the whole team from when I entered hospital to when I left, the pre op nurse Joe was a good Joe! he had the toughest job of all shaving that leg but he persevered the anesthesiologist made me feel at ease as it was my first time getting a spinal block, the nurses were all totally amazing, I truly felt there genuine care and compassion was sincere, thank you Heather, Trina, Dana, and all the CNAs were all so amazing!

And I gotta say the food was very very good! So in all a outstanding experience since in a couple months I will be have the second knee done as well! So in all HAMH struck gold with DR. Donahue & his team! Sincerely thank you! Tim Rainaldo

Horrible care except for the paramedics that came. I was away in Hayward at a friends cottage for the weekend in August. I began with a bad headache & started vomiting from it. I progressively got worse and said that I believe I was dehydrated to my friends. Even after drinking Gatorade, water they felt they needed assistance. They called 911. Paramedics were so nice and helped with nausea. Got to the hospital ER and all they did was a head CT.

No covid check, no blood work & no IV fluids! They wrote me off as having a migraine! Since I didn't have a family member with, obviously they didn't relay anything to my two friends that were sitting in the waiting area. I was so weak but nausea stopped because of what the paramedics gave me. A couple hours later, a RN walks in snd says "You can go now"!

I saw a Dr for 2 minutes, had an EKG that was normal too. I said GO? I can't even walk! I asked for a wheel chair for them to take me out, RN said no, just walk out your friends are out there! No sympathy or compassion what so ever! I stumbled out like I was drunk because of my severe dehydration! I still had the EKG stickers on my chest, legs, etc!

My friends were furious and talked to the desk person. They took me back to the cottage where they took care of me overnight then the next day drove me back to the Chicago burbs. Long drive when sick! My husband greeted me at the door and took me to my local Elmhurst Hospital where I was admitted with critical potassium and hypokalemia! I stayed in for 3 days on IV fluids, amongst other things.

I am a Lab employee and have never known anyone to treat a patient of the present condition without blood work. A simple CBC & CMP would have told them I was dehydrated and not a migraine! NOW YOU ARE WANTING ME to PAY THIS BILL! I Refuse! Service date was 8-13-21 Lol no one from the ED even called as a follow up to check on me! Do not go here!

The staff at Hayward Area Memorial Hospital have been fantastic during my hip replacement. Having experienced surgeons like Dr Donahue and his team in Hayward WI is a blessing. The whole experience and rehabilitation services have made this process very healing. I would highly recommend their Orthopedic services.

Jessica and Leslie, with Respiratory Therapy, went above and beyond to help a camper with their CPAP issue late on a Friday afternoon. Warm and caring individuals that exemplify what a true health professional does in looking out for the patient. Thank you so much! Hayward Hospital you are lucky to have these two on your staff.

Everything started out good as I knew what I needed. IV treatments of calcium. The doctor I had left from her shift, then it was downhill from there. I waited 3 hours after my treatment and not one person came in. I finally pushed the call button and a gal came In. I asked if there was an update, she stated they were busy. only one other room besides mine that has someone in it.

The rest were cleaned open and lights off. It was yet another hour and still no update. I went to the bathroom came back detached my heart monitor, got dressed and walked out after 5 women and 1 man wanted to just stand and sit around and talk and laugh! I then got home, took out my IV. As of today not 1 person has even called to check in nor did anyone last night either when I left!

4 members of our family were involved in a lightening strike at Big Fish golf course. Our family members were quickly assisted by the golf course staff and golfers. The emergency responders arrived quickly and took great care of our family members. When they arrived at Hayward Memorial the excellent care continued. The staff here is remarkable! Their compassion for their patients and the family members go above and beyond.

I wish I could remember all of their names but a few I do were Britney, Scott, Dana, Adrian, Anna, Curt, Linda, Eric, Alissa and Dr. Luedke. Thank you so much to all of your staff for the care our family received.

We were in Hayward for a family vacation when my Aunt became ill. We are from larger cities and used to large hospital systems. The care we received at Hayward Area Memorial Hospital was exceptional and personal. From the ED to the medical unit, everyone was professional and kind. My Aunt felt particularly impressed with her experience on the medical unit.

The quality of care she received was impressive. Words she used to describe her health care professionals are friendly and caring. Her nurses consistently checked on her, knocking on her door to see if she, or we, needed anything. She was also impressed with how quickly her call bell was answered. We would like to especially thank Nate, Scott, Eric and Dr. Thompson for their care, compassion, and fun personalities. They truly help us to make the best out of a difficult situation.

We are from Chicago and are now residents of Stone Lake, WI. Hayward Area Memorial Hospital is fantastic. The first important thing is that when my husband had a severe case of Covid last September, they immediately transported him by ambulance to St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth where he spent 16 days and recovered fully although it took a while. I went there today with what turned out to be a vertigo problem and the visiting Physician solved the problem immediately, after the staff had quickly and swiftly checked for stroke or heart problems.

The nurse, Donnie and Technician Megan were totally accomplished and professional. As well as being super friendly and supportive. This is a great contrast to the emergency care we receive in Chicago. I know it sounds crazy but I am glad I had my episode today to be treated by such caring and professional friendly people. Thank you so much.
