Waited over an hour on the phone just to be told I need to go to the building to get a replacement WIC card. They should just have that info on the useless website.

Was placed on quarantine after being exposed to covid. Was exposed on Wednesday, did not receive any word from health dept until following MONDAY. Was then placed on a longer quarantine order. Never received my quarantine order through email so called the health dept. Lady who answered was RUDE. ZERO customer service skills, zero empathy after telling them I was on the verge of losing my job due to them never sending the quarantine order and my job didn't believe my word of mouth.

So thank you Lexington health dept for making this an even more stressful time! This lady 1000000% needs to be fired or retrained bc after my experience I spoke to others who could identify the lady but just my experience bc they received the same treatment from her. UNACCEPTABLE.

How hard is it to answer the phone when someone calls? Or better yet, how hard is it to call someone up to your window to make an appointment? I should NOT be waiting for 15 minutes (probably would have been longer if I did not leave when I did) JUST to set up an appointment for my kids to get WIC.

The Health Equity and Education team stands as a shining example of what a department can do when its employees are engaged in meaningful projects and care about their impact on the community. I was fortunate enough to assist them as a volunteer with an awareness project some time ago. I got to witness firsthand how they conduct themselves and educate the public pursuant to their ongoing mission. I believe Fayette county is very lucky to have this core group that takes such immense pride in their work!

I am so grateful for the resources made available! I have reserved numerous educational props and taken advantage of several programs offered and met with some wonderful, well educated, and passionate people that have partnered with me to really broaden my reach in creating positive impact for health of the individuals I work with.

The health consultants are fantastic! A true resource for those who want more information on how to keep kids health and safe. They provide quality training too.

I have worked closely with the Health Equity and Education Department for several years and have been very impressed by their hard work and dedication to serving the Fayette County Community. Staff are passionate about promoting health, safety, and wellness to children, families, and early childhood educators. I am so glad that our community has such amazing services! I refer families and child care centers frequently! Please keep up the great work!
