This place is a joke. They like to schedule multiple visits for one issue so they can what I assume is make money off insurance. I honestly do not see how this place is still in business and I will be contacting the state. Ignorant. I would never EVER take anyone I love there. I wouldn't take an animal there!

The doctors at this facility, take the time to listen to their patients and not over talk them and they aim to find all that is wrong. The nurses work as hard as the doctors and the receptionist have a great amount to deal with. Very good place to go to the doctor.

This place is the worst. I am crying just writing this. My first visit there, they decided to put me on the depo shot without telling me the side effects. On one hand, I should have waited, but on the other, they said "I should get it today". I have gained so much weight (I was already heavy), now have high blood sugar (never was even borderline diabetic), etc. Then, today when I went, I asked questions like a good patient should.

I guess it was too much for this doctor because I said that I needed to ask one more question, and she stated that she "couldn't answer any more questions today" and walked out of the room. I sat there with my jaw dropped. I really didn't ask her much to begin with. All I wanted to know was what date I could restart a certain pill. What doctor does that? Aren't we as patients suppose to ask questions?

Not to mention that the dental side screwed up my husband's appointments twice. The last time, we paid, and then they stated that they overbooked and that I should have called them to let them know we were keeping the appointment. Really? The automated system called about 15 times the day before and everytime I pressed "1" to confirm. This place is really screwed up. I will never go back.

As a college student, I didn't always have the luxury of dental insurance. So after an adventuresome night of drinking, I chipped my front teeth. Luckily at the time I was in a country that provided universal health and dental services to all inhabitants (Scotland). Unfortunately, I soon returned to my homeland that doesn't share the same priorities.

I had damaged the root of my front tooth, and if I didn't want to walk around with a grey smile, I needed a crown. So I called around dentist's office all over the Tri-state, inquiring about their price. Had they mistaken me? I wasn't asking for a royal "crown." Just something to make me presentable. I soon realized that subsidized dental care is all I could afford. Healthpoint works on a sliding scale.

The more you make the more you pay (and vice versa). My crown was only going to cost $270, a fraction of what other dentists were going to charge. So I went, had my tooth whittled down to a nub, and was fit with a temporary crown. Unfortunately, early Saturday morning (when the office was closed, nonetheless), I bit into a slice of pizza that contained more than pepperoni. I'd chewed up my crown and the only thing left was my nub tooth.

Horror of all horrors.even in my nightmares I'd never looked so terrifying. To this day, I have reoccurring dreams about it. I spent the entire weekend in my basement with a wad of chewing gum covering my disfigured tooth. Monday, I was seen right away and fitted with another temporary crown. With a few minor adjustments, I was pleased with my permanent fixture.

And I couldn't complain about the cost. I've gone to Healthpoint for cleanings, too. Annoyingly, you have to make two appointments for a cleaning: one for the X-rays (which are sent to the lab) and another for the actual cleaning. But again, if you don't have dental insurance, this beats the alternative.
